Qin Zhiyou tried to pull her along, but Lu Weixi, even angrier now, violently shook off his hand. This time, Qin Zhiyou advanced and embraced her, whispering in her ear: “Wife.”

“Who’s your wife? Whoever you want to be your wife, have them! Just leave me be!” Lu Weixi was seething, yet in her fury — even when stamping her foot — she wouldn’t stomp on his foot, nor did she struggle out of his arms. “Alright, then I admit it.”

With Qin Zhiyou’s boastful posture, she was stumped for a response. Angrily, she stamped her foot hard onto his and then strode out saying: “I don’t care about you! I’m going to the examination room first!”

Qin Zhiyou flinched as she stamped on his foot – she was still wearing her high-heeled leather shoes from work the day before. Although the shoes weren’t too high, they were still about five centimeters. With that one stamp, Qin Zhiyou instantly made a face.
