My Monster Fuses Everything

Chapter 428: 322 Kroxi Tribe

Chapter 428: Chapter 322 Kroxi Tribe

In the depths of Wushan, a valley shrouded in mist and sprinkled with red light housed a Lizardman Tribe of about four thousand members that had unconsciously established itself there.

The massive trunks of dead trees were felled by them to construct the village’s dwellings, while rock faces were carved into, creating cave-like houses.

The entire valley was cleared by them, the rock faces engraved with unknown Lizard Script drawn with monster blood, emitting a faint red glow that dispelled much of the mist.

“Gurgle”

Lizardmen bustled to and fro, with warriors among them carrying weapons, herding captured monsters into cages one after another.@@novelbin@@

Among them were no shortage of Evolved Kinds active in the mountains, each now marked with special Lizard Script and locked in cages, emitting low mournful cries.

At the deepest part of this Lizardman village in the valley, a ritual altar constructed from beast bones and rocks was half-embedded in the mountainside, rising tens of meters high, surrounded by thick tree trunks piercing through the bodies of numerous monsters, encircling the entire altar.

“Kola, you of the Kroxi Tribe have greatly disappointed the High Priest. A tribe of tens of thousands now numbers only a little over four thousand, even losing the alien dimension,”

“Xiliye, I did not ask you here to ridicule me,”

Above the altar stood a tall grey-scaled Lizardman, gripping a beast bone saber, looking down at a smaller Lizard Priest who stood with his back to him.

His eyes were cold, his long tongue occasionally flicking out from his mouth full of sharp teeth, his tone far from polite.

The Lizard Priest turned around, coughing softly a few times, his breath unsteady, but his eyes met Xiliye’s with a cold gaze.

“I didn’t come to waste my time here either,”

Xiliye was blunt, his scarlet tongue sweeping over his lips as he glanced toward the southeast, “High Priest Langmuluo sent me to investigate the south, it’s because you sought help from Lord Lizard God’s Statue that I was dispatched here. Lord Langmu Luo does not wish to see another Lizardman Tribe fall under his jurisdiction.”

He wore a mocking expression, his gaze sweeping over Priest Kola, “But I see no difference between your current state and annihilation.”

Kola’s reptilian pupils dilated with anger that flashed by but subdued into silence.

He was indeed a priest of the Kroxi Tribe with a strength reaching Fourth-order Intermediate, but the warrior before him was no ordinary individual.

He was one of the leading warriors of the Skull Tribe, also a warrior blessed by High Priest Langmuluo, empowered by the Spiritual Blood Sea Power and bearing the Great Demon Mark, making him exceptionally strong.

Though not as versatile as priests, his sturdy body and Spiritual Energy could withstand many attacks, and even he wasn’t sure he could defeat Xiliye.

“Don’t compare me to the Stone Bone Tribe; they haven’t had a Fourth Grade priest for a long time,”

“You are only Fourth Grade as well,”

Xiliye’s reminder cooled Kola, serving as a warning.

The Skull Tribe, controlling many nearby alien dimensions, had commanded subservience from both their Kroxi Tribe and the Stone Bone Tribe to High Priest Langmuluo.

‘Damn it, if I had succeeded in Demon Promotion, you wouldn’t be here speaking,’ thought Kola resentfully, but he bowed his head, “I misspoke, under the Lizard God, all Lizardmen should be united.”

Upon hearing Kola invoke the Lizard God, Xiliye’s eyes flickered slightly, and he toned down the conversation.

“You said you wanted to see the power of that weapon; I gave you the chance, but the beast is dead. They didn’t even use the special weapon,”

The monster they had mutated, the Lizardized Black Sturgeon Beast, was a test they had rigged to gauge the Armed Forces’ response and to learn the rules for using that kind of weapon.

“I wasn’t aware they had a Fourth Grade,”

Kola fell silent, his special modification of the Evolved Kind having gone to waste, greatly hindering their progress.

“The probe was worth it; even a Fourth Grade cannot directly withstand that kind of weapon. If attacked consecutively, even if Lord Langmu Luo were to descend upon this world with all his might, he might not be able to….”

“Shut up, Lord Langmu Luo’s power is beyond your foresight,”

Xiliye bared his teeth in a fierce grin, his sharp teeth fully revealed, looking viciously at Kola.

“Those humans, within the three cities, there are at least a million lives. They could provide us with more high-quality Mental Strength and Souls, and they would make excellent labor. If we take over there, we can seize all this land more easily,”

Kola diverted the topic, painting a tempting picture for Xiliye.

Without a doubt, such a massive human population and cluster of cities, even Lingshui City controlled by the Skull Tribe didn’t come close in population, with at most 300,000 people.

Xiliye’s eyes flashed with disdain, thinking, ‘Is that why you waste the Lizard God Statue’s gathered tribal Spiritual Energy?’

Tribes gather faith and mental energy through acts like worship, prayer, and combat, accumulating it in the Lizard God Statue—a hard-earned force.

While the tribe has the right to utilize it, the power mostly belongs to Lord Lizard God.

Using the Spiritual Energy of the Lizard God Statue lightly is a shameful act.

However, since it was already done, further mockery held no meaning.

“I have already spoken to High Priest Langmuluo about this,”

Xiliye glanced at Kola, then said, “Three tribes that are nearest to you but have yet to descend are ready. They only wait for you to provide the exact coordinates. Then, from inside and out, they will break through space to descend and help you conquer the human cities. At that time, Lord Langmu Luo will reward your tribe.”
