Chapter 2723 2723: Divine Daughter of Darkness (1)
Yun Lintian narrowed his eyes slightly, his expression unchanging as he assessed the situation in silence.
"I am afraid I do not understand, Young Miss," he replied, his voice calm and steady.
Hei Yue tilted her head, her dark blue eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh? Is that so?" she said, her voice laced with playful skepticism. "Then explain these."
She gestured towards Yun Lintian's shoulders, her gaze fixed on the concealed forms of Qingqing and Linlin. "True Spirit and White Tiger? You think you can hide them from me?"
Yun Lintian's heart skipped a beat. He was inwardly surprised that Hei Yue could see through his concealment. He had used a powerful technique, one that should have been undetectable to most cultivators.
"Young Miss must be mistaken. I do not know what you are talking about," Yun Lintian said calmly while observing the surroundings.
At this moment, Aunt Liu finally caught up with Hei Yue, her expression a mixture of worry and exasperation. She looked at Yun Lintian curiously, her gaze scrutinizing him.
"Young Miss," she asked, her voice laced with concern, "why are you talking to this… low-ranking member?"
Hei Yue turned to Aunt Liu, her expression playful. "He's interesting, Aunt Liu. He actually dares to come here in disguise. Don't you think it's interesting?"
She turned back to Yun Lintian, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Come on, Zhang Hu. Don't be shy. Show me what you're hiding."
Aunt Liu's expression suddenly turned cold, her gaze fixed on Yun Lintian. The playful air vanished, replaced by a chilling intensity that sent shivers down Yun Lintian's spine. The surrounding darkness seemed to thicken, a tremendous pressure filling the entire space.
"Who are you?" Aunt Liu demanded, her voice sharp and authoritative. "And why are you impersonating a member of the Darkness Palace?"
Yun Lintian raised an eyebrow slightly, inwardly surprised. The pressure emanating from Aunt Liu was immense, a clear indication of her strength. He could sense that she was at the peak of the True God Realm, a formidable opponent.
She is strong. Yun Lintian thought, his mind racing. Stronger than anyone I've met in this realm so far.
He knew that he couldn't continue to play dumb. He decided to drop the act, revealing his true identity.
"My name is Yun Lintian," he said, his voice calm and steady, his disguise dissipating, revealing his true appearance. "And I am the one you are searching for."
Hei Yue's eyes widened slightly, her playful expression replaced by a hint of surprise.
"Yun Lintian?" she repeated, her voice thoughtful. "So, you are the one who caused the commotion."
Aunt Liu's eyes narrowed, her expression turning even colder. "You dare to reveal yourself so brazenly? How courageous you are."
"Thanks for the compliment," Yun Lintian said calmly as he looked at Hei Yue and Aunt Liu. "But before we proceed, I would like to know your names."
Hei Yue grinned, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I am Hei Yue," she said, her voice light and playful. "And this is Aunt Liu."
Yun Lintian then looked directly at both Hei Yue and Aunt Liu. "One of you, who will come first?"
Aunt Liu frowned, her expression turning stern. She was taken aback by Yun Lintian's confident demeanor. They were in the territory of the God of Darkness, a place where he held absolute power. Yet, Yun Lintian remained calm and composed, as if he were facing ordinary cultivators.
"You are too arrogant," Aunt Liu said, her voice laced with a hint of anger. "You dare to challenge us in this place?"
Hei Yue, however, was intrigued by Yun Lintian's request. She had never encountered someone who dared to challenge her, especially in the Eternal Darkness Realm. She grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Me! I will come first!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with anticipation. She raised her slender sword, its edge shimmering with a faint, silver light. "Let's see what you've got!"
However, before Hei Yue could make a move, Aunt Liu stepped forward, her expression cold and determined. She drew her own sword, a dark, heavy weapon that radiated a chilling aura.
"I will be your opponent," Aunt Liu said, her voice firm and decisive. "I will show you the consequences of your arrogance."
Without warning, Aunt Liu launched an attack, her sword flashing through the darkness, leaving a trail of dark energy in its wake. She moved with incredible speed, her attack precise and powerful.
Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed, his senses heightened. He could feel the immense power emanating from Aunt Liu's sword, a force that threatened to tear through his defenses.
He did not dodge. Instead, he raised his hand, and the White Dragon Spear materialized, its radiant light piercing the darkness, its energy pulsing with divine power. He channeled his God Mark of Light into the spear, amplifying its light, its power.
BOOOOOM!!
The White Dragon Spear clashed with Aunt Liu's sword, a deafening explosion erupting from the impact. The surrounding darkness recoiled, the chaotic energy momentarily subdued by the overwhelming power of the divine light.
A shockwave rippled outwards, sending tremors through the realm.
Aunt Liu's expression turned grim. She had underestimated Yun Lintian's power. The force of his attack was immense, a force that could rival her own.
She unleashed a surge of dark energy, her sword glowing with a malevolent light. She attacked again, her movements faster, her attacks more powerful. Each strike carried the weight of her True God power, the dark energy twisting and corrupting the surrounding space.
Yun Lintian met her attacks, his White Dragon Spear flashing, his God Mark of Light radiating outwards. He moved with incredible agility, his movements fluid and precise. His spear strikes were precise, each movement a calculated defense and offense.
The two figures clashed, their weapons flashing, their energies colliding. The darkness around them swirled and contorted, the chaotic energy intensifying.
Hei Yue watched the battle with growing interest. She rarely saw anyone who could go toe-to-toe with Aunt Liu, her personal guard. Yet, Yun Lintian stood his ground, his movements calm and precise, his divine light pushing back the oppressive darkness.
"Interesting," Hei Yue murmured, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "He's actually quite strong."
Aunt Liu, realizing the gravity of the situation, finally decided to unleash her true power. Her expression turned serious, her eyes flashing with a dangerous light. She channeled her dark energy, the surrounding darkness thickening, swirling around her like a malevolent storm.
"Dark Void Slash!" Aunt Liu roared, her voice echoing through the vast darkness.
What do you think?
