Mythical Three Kingdoms

Chapter 809 773: Shocking the World

Regarding Li Youu's situation, Chen Xi also had no particularly good solution. After comforting him with a few words, he said nothing more. At the very least, Chen Xi didn't believe that anything in this world could shake their foundation.

"Zhen Mi, bring some tea for me and Wen Ru!" Chen Xi said casually, turning his head to the outside. Very quickly, Zhen Mi came in holding a tray of tea. To speak frankly, this was a rather exclusive business, and since its inception several years ago, it was only available in limited supply at Mount Tai.

Dressed in a floral silk robe, Zhen Mi carried a tea tray in, replaced the original teacups, refilled Chen Xi's with fresh tea, and then moved toward Li Youu to do the same.

At that exact moment, as the setting sun sank below the western mountain and vanished, an indescribable sound suddenly echoed in the depths of everyone's heart across the entire Great Han Dynasty. With its emergence, an overwhelming majority of people instinctively bowed their heads in one direction and knelt in reverence.

Li Youu and Chen Xi abruptly stood up. At this moment, they could both clearly see the golden clouds manifesting on each other's bodies, those normally invisible Vitality Numbers suddenly becoming apparent. However, neither focused on such phenomena. They turned their heads with disbelief toward a certain direction, their gazes seemingly piercing all barriers.

"How is this possible?" Li Youu muttered to himself, "How could this be possible?"

As the words left his mouth, the golden clouds surrounding Li Youu began to visibly condense, slowly transforming into the same greenish hue as his Confucian robe.

Standing nearby with a tray of tea, Zhen Mi felt her body go weak as that sound resonated. She instinctively knelt toward the north, but Chen Xi, his expression grave, reached out and steadied her. On Zhen Mi's body as well, golden clouds began to emerge. Though not as exaggerated as Chen Xi's Vitality Number, it was still enough to leave people astonished.

At this moment, the overflow of golden clouds from Chen Xi's body rapidly gathered together, losing their golden brilliance at an almost shocking speed. They became pure white and radiated a seven-colored glow.

Supported by Chen Xi, the golden clouds surrounding Zhen Mi also underwent an inexplicable transformation in tandem with Chen Xi's Fate. The golden radiance faded completely, leaving behind only pristine white clouds, exuding a gentle, multi-colored shimmer.

Neither Chen Xi nor Li Youu paid any attention to their own transformations. Instead, they stared in disbelief at the same direction.

Meanwhile, in his residence, where he was enjoying familial warmth with Zhang Clan and Lady Gan, Liu Bei also reacted instinctively to the mysterious sound reverberating in his heart. He stood up abruptly and fixed his eyes on the north. His gaze seemed to penetrate all barriers to land on a specific spot far to the north.

At this moment, the golden clouds around Liu Bei began to condense at an astonishing speed. As they gathered, the blinding golden light that made it difficult to keep one's eyes open slowly dimmed, transforming into an earthy yellow hue.

As the sound echoed, Zhang Clan and Lady Gan felt their knees give out, about to kneel. However, Liu Bei, with a calm expression, gently supported them.

The moment Liu Bei steadied them, clouds of the same color as his own began to emanate from Zhang Clan and Lady Gan. As they condensed, they became increasingly substantial. Lady Gan, who had previously seemed somewhat unremarkable, now radiated stately elegance. As for Zhang Clan, she became even more regal in demeanor.

"This kind of divine artifact…" Liu Bei said, incredulous. Though he had already been certain of the authenticity of whatever had appeared, he was still utterly stunned. At last, he began to grasp the concept of what such a divine artifact truly signified.

Jia Xu, expressionless, tore the intelligence report in his hand into pieces. All prior preparations could now effectively come to an abrupt end. Surely, Heaven was uncooperative. The descent of such a divine artifact was something beyond mortal efforts. As golden clouds continued to overflow from his body, Jia Xu remained indifferent, silently watching the north.

The moment the dragon's roar echoed, Mann Chong immediately activated his Spiritual Talent. The pure and severe logic of Legalism completely suppressed his emotions, leaving him to coldly stare toward the north, both ruthless and commanding.

Mi Zhu gritted his teeth and resisted the urge to kneel, keeping his gaze fixed on the north. Though he couldn't see anything, he already knew what had been born.

Cai Yan's zither music came to an abrupt halt. Previously seated before a low desk, teaching students to play, she stood up at once, her sweeping sleeves exuding unparalleled grace.

Among the women gathered to listen to the zither, with the exception of Huang Yueying and Wang Yi, nearly all reflexively rose to their feet as well. The rest, however, instinctively lowered their heads and prostrated toward the north.

Shortly thereafter, Jiangg Ying and Cai Zhenji wobbled but managed to stand. Jiangg Ying seemed to be lifted by an unseen thread, evidence of Fa Xiaozhi's pride, which granted her the qualifications to share in her husband's blessings. Cai Zhenji, on the other hand, appeared momentarily dazed before finally steadying herself.

"A divine artifact…" Cai Yan slowly scanned the women in the room. She immediately understood the significance of those able to stand, while the remaining women, no matter how outstanding, instinctively lowered their gazes and knelt toward the north in complete submission.

As her gaze swept over Wang Yi and Huang Yueying, she had no words. Even Cai Yan herself felt a sense of awe toward the two. Regarding Jiangg Ying and Cai Zhenji, she showed a hint of envy, softly murmuring, "A husband's greatness, a wife's glory; or perhaps, a mother's rise through her child's distinguished status..."

Fan Jian and the slumbering Chen Lan awoke with a start. However, as maids in the inner courtyard knelt consecutively, both women inexplicably turned their attention toward the north. Although they could see nothing, they continued to gaze in that direction, golden clouds of the exact same pure white as Chen Xi emanating from their bodies, radiating a dazzling seven-colored glow.

In Xuzhou, the fighting between the Yuzhou Army and Zhang Fei's Legion suddenly halted. All soldiers turned north and knelt without exception. In an instant, the swirling Cloud Qi dissipated into nothing. The only one left standing was Zhang Fei, beside his horse, Black Cloud Treading on Snow, which itself knelt on its front hooves. Yet Zhang Fei did not seize the opportunity to counterattack. Instead, his expression grew grave as he stared toward the north.

In Yuzhou, Fa Zheng gazed toward the north with a mix of suspicion and awe. Gan Ning's face showed shock, Yuan Shu struggled but managed to remain standing, finally supported by Jii Ling, and let out a wild laugh toward the heavens.

Upon the Yangtze River, Zhou Yu's soldiers, who had been rowing boats, suddenly released their oars, quietly bowing toward the north. Zhou Yu alone stood proudly, emitting vast amounts of golden clouds while staring into the distance. Zhou Tai stood behind him, equally solemn.

In Eastern Wu, during a fierce battle in the skies, Zixu and Yu Ji suddenly froze, turning back toward the north in unison. A tremendous pressure abruptly slammed them down from the air. Yet, both wore expressions of comprehension, relinquishing any resistance as they plummeted.

In Jing-Xiang, Huang Zhong gripped the Red Blood Knife tightly, his expression grave as he stared toward the north. Xu Shu struggled to remain upright, finally achieving a breakthrough at the moment he least wished to bow. Zhuge Liang seemed to gaze through time and space at the location where the divine artifact had appeared. Sunx Ce and Pang Tong stood shoulder to shoulder, their expressions marked by uncertainty and awe as they faced north.

In Yongliang, Cao Cao gazed toward Yanzhou with a bitter expression. Beside him, Dian Wei scratched his head, confused by the unfolding events, yet he too kept his eyes fixed on Yanzhou.
