Elora sat on a sofa, munching cookies like a cookie monster, her teary eyes fixed on Elysia, who stood in front of her.
"Aunty, it's already been ten days. You said Mommy and Daddy are preparing a surprise for me. Tell me, how long will it take for them to come back?"
She finished the cookie in her hand, immediately picking up another and munching on it just as eagerly.
Hearing Elora, Elysia didn't know how to respond. She racked her brain for a solution but ultimately sighed in defeat and shook her head. Lowering her voice, she finally spoke.
"Little girl, I am not sure when they will come back, but..."
She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"I did hear them talking about preparing your surprise in a dark, closed room. If you can find where that dark closed room is, you will be able to meet them."
Hearing Elysia's words, Elora froze mid-bite, her eyes widening in surprise.
