Chapter 30
Rivera’s breath burns with rage.
Just a moment ago, she had been at peace, but in the span of a single instant, everything had shattered.
Her vision was broken.
The elf was no different.
Her home with her father.
The paradise she had hoped to cultivate with her master.
"It's ruined..."
The Golden Dragon's gaze grows cold.
The place she shared with Keyal was her sanctuary, her bliss. Though the progress had been slow, it had been a place to expand her little haven, to live together in harmony, step by step.
"I see. You did this, didn’t you?"
Rivera looks down at the ground.
She lets out a single sound—a noise of frustration—and mutters the same words again, her thoughts tangled and confused.
She wanted an answer, but she didn’t want to hear one.
The words don’t match, and that’s what stirs her troubled heart.
"You want to die, don't you? Huh? Big sis."
Rivera lets out a bitter laugh.
Of course, Reina must have clung to her father, inhaling his magic, soaking in his scent. She must have longed for his affection, felt the heat of his desire while they were away.
Anyone who had been given even a moment of his warmth would have sought more.@@novelbin@@
Rivera knew.
Even if Reina denied it, Rivera was certain.
Reina had dared to covet what wasn’t hers, to drool over what belonged to someone else.
To Rivera, that was unforgivable.
Reina was the one who tried to steal from her—her only precious one, the one she valued above all else.
A lowly slave, daring to desire her father, to defile his pure love—it was the betrayal of all betrayals.
And now, Reina stood before her like a traitor.
What do you think?
