Chapter 141: God of Destroyer and a Thousand Divine Swords

His twin was stunned. Always thinking of themselves as the pinnacle and the end of this world, the siblings found the phenomenon incomprehensible.

This creature made those self-proclaimed gods look like insects. Having witnessed a true god, Sun’s inner desires burned hotter than his flames. He too, wanted to be a part of this great being, shining beautifully like stars.

A terrible reverberation that could shake the entire universe rang out. His own flames wavered for a few moments. It came from the colorful stars shining from inside it.

Sun saw it then. One of the stars in its body had turned black and disappeared without a trace, creating that grotesque scream he’d just heard! Not only were there many intellectual creatures on that star, there were also divine beings! Yet, all of them couldn’t avoid extinction.

At that moment, the truth dawned on Sun. The phenomenal and beautiful stars were actually being digested, eaten by that being.

The awe and admiration he previously held transformed into instant horror. He even thought of burying himself under the ground that he’d looked down upon for the longest of time. Just then, the gargantuan, caterpillar-like being turned to look at Sun God.

Its crimson eyes, dozens of times larger than a planet, stared at Sun as if observing its prey. Then, it opened its mouth wide.

Its mouth, reminiscent of a black hole, tugged at Sun. Despite sensing his impending doom, Sun didn’t have the courage to resist. He was nothing but a helpless, insignificant candlelight standing before a typhoon. He only found out later, but that was in fact the symbol of destruction, God of Destroyer, which had existed since the beginning of time. A god, covered in pure white armor, challenged the God of Destroyer with a thousand divine swords.

The entire universe shook amidst their battle. With every divine sword he had in hand, the White Knight could easily obliterate all planets. Whenever those swords struck the God of Destroyer, it created a huge wound on its ginormous body, shattering it.

Yet, the God of Destroyer was the final victor.

God of Destroyer coughed up black flames, melting the White Knight and his divine swords. That was the last that Sun had seen of him, before he fled back into his own world.

-Brother! Thank goodness you’re safe!

His twin greeted him with delight.

However, Sun God was far too traumatized from his encounter.

Immense fear washed over him, and his flames flickered as if they were about to be extinguished. There was another, higher being than themselves. Compared to the great gods, they were mere insects. He had to accumulate power. He had to become the god among gods so that no one would dare to approach him.

For that to happen, he needed sacrifices to grow his flames and heat.

-B-Brother? W-what’s wrong with you?

Sun opened his mouth at his own twin.
