Chapter 334 This Kid is Doomed! Elf Forest! Wood Elemental Elf!

Halwind dared not hesitate and immediately relayed everything that had happened to Brade Morningsong.

Of course, he embellished and modified the story.

For instance, he described how Luca and the others had disregarded their attempts to stop them and forcefully tried to enter the node. They had put up a fierce resistance, but were ultimately all severely injured, and so on. In the end, Halwind went as far as to paint Luca and his group as a bunch of unruly, arrogant young nobles, relying on their connection with Drumph to act like bullies.

After hearing the report, Brade Morningsong didn't say much and simply replied, "I understand. You all stay there and keep guard. I'll head over right away."

He then hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Territory, in Deer City.

"Luca?" Brade Morningsong muttered the name, furrowing his brow. It seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he had heard it from.

"Boss, what's going on?" A sultry woman approached.

She was dressed in a daring black leather outfit, her figure slender and graceful, and her movements full of charm. A bloodstained whip was in her hand, giving her an alluring presence.

"Lightless and the others just reported that someone forcibly entered Shelter 303 and made their way into a high-level node," Brade Morningsong said, pulling his sword from a monster's severed head.

Monsters' corpses were scattered around him, piled high in massive heaps like a mountain, with some high-level monsters among them. They had come here to deal with the monster horde, and it was nearly finished.

"Luca?" The sultry woman seemed slightly surprised. "Could it be the same Luca who dealt with the Leaf City monster horde?"

At the mention of the Leaf City monster horde, Brade Morningsong's eyes lit up as if he had suddenly remembered something. His gaze sharpened as he muttered, "So it's him."

Leaf City had been surrounded by millions of monsters. This news had spread like wildfire within Morning Star.

The city had already been abandoned by the higher-ups. Then, out of nowhere, a powerful figure emerged and led 100,000 people out of the monster horde.

Even Brade Morningsong had felt incredulous when he first heard the news. After all, even he would have struggled to do something like that.

"If I remember correctly, he was part of the Quagmire Squad," Brade Morningsong said, his eyes flashing with intrigue. After a moment of thought, he added, "Let's go. Now that this matter here is nearly dealt with, we can go meet them and see for ourselves if this guy is really as formidable as the rumors say."

A few squad members who were dealing with the monsters nearby couldn't help but feel a sense of sympathy for Luca.

Under normal circumstances, even if Luca had taken Brade Morningsong's high-level node, the most Brade Morningsong would likely do would be to give him a stern lesson. But, of course, Luca wasn't just anyone—he was from Quagmire.

Brade Morningsong and Quagmire had a long-standing, deep feud. This kid was in serious trouble.

...

Meanwhile, upon receiving the news that Brade Morningsong was on his way, Lightless let out a long sigh of relief.

Then, a look of excitement appeared in his eyes.

He was very familiar with Brade Morningsong's strength. Once they arrived, he couldn't wait to see how Luca and those two from the Northern Territory would act—if they'd still be so cocky.

Just as Lightless was preparing to head to the node with Halwind and the others to make sure Luca and his group wouldn't escape.

A sudden roar of engines came from the street in the distance.

Lightless and the others turned around to see several luxury cars speeding toward them. Before they could even speculate about who these people were, the leading vehicle stopped in front of them, and several well-dressed young people got out.

The man leading them appeared to be about thirty years old. After getting out of the car, he smiled warmly at Lightless and asked, "Brother, I was wondering if a few Morning Star members passed by here earlier?"

Lightless and the others, covered in soot and looking like refugees, hardly resembled their usual selves. Their Morning Star uniforms had long been unrecognizable.

Lightless grew cautious and replied, "Who are you, and why are you asking about Morning Star members?"

It wasn't surprising that he was wary. Since becoming a player, he had made quite a few enemies. Seeing how these people were acting, he couldn't rule out the possibility that they were here to settle scores with him.

The middle-aged man didn't respond, but a younger man beside him grew impatient and said, "Why ask so many questions? Just tell us if you saw two men and a woman pass by here earlier. Don't waste our time!"

The middle-aged man's name was Bond James, and the younger man was his son, Hummer. The people behind them were all from the James Family, who had rushed over from Leaf City. Their strength wasn't impressive, but it was enough to form a decent force when they joined together. They had come together to deal with Luca, and they had successfully built a fairly strong faction.

Lightless felt a surge of anger rising in him. He had already been beaten by Luca earlier, and now this group of rich second-generation heirs, who didn't even seem to know their place, was acting so arrogantly. Did they really think his name, Lightless, in the Eastern Territory, was just for show?

But when he heard the following words, he immediately understood. These people were here for Luca.

As his thoughts rapidly turned, Lightless's eyes narrowed slightly. He looked at the two men and said, "Yes, two men and a woman passed through here earlier. They were driving a black off-road vehicle."

Bond James and Hummer's eyes lit up at once. Bond James immediately waved to the people behind him and said, "We've found Luca! He's just up ahead, hurry and catch up with them!"

The others from the Leaf Family were excited and didn't dare waste any time. They quickly got into their cars and started them up.

"Boss, should we go take a look?" Halwind asked, looking at the luxury cars driving off. He was curious about these people, who looked like they had a distinguished background. What did they want with Luca?

"Of course, let's go," Lightless replied without hesitation. He waved his hand at the Eastern Territory Morning Star members and said, "Everyone, let's go watch a good show."

Meanwhile, after Luca and the others entered the node, they felt a flash of white light pass before them. By the time they reacted, they found themselves standing in the middle of a large white palace.

The palace was enormous, with a crystal ball radiating dazzling white light floating in the dome above. The clean, elegant floor reflected the silhouettes of the three.

On the wall directly ahead of them, there was a massive blue door, the destination unknown. Donlow looked around and said, "So this is the world behind the Spatial Node? It's a bit different from what I imagined."

Luca shook his head. "This is just an entrance. The extraterritorial battlefield is behind that door."

With that, he took a step toward the blue portal. Behind him, Fuzzsir asked in confusion, "The extraterritorial battlefield? What's that?"

"You'll understand later," Luca replied without elaborating, waving for the two of them to follow. As they stepped through the blue door, it felt as though they were passing through a barrier.

Suddenly, they felt as though the space opened up before them. The glaring sunlight made Donlow instinctively shield her eyes. When she could finally see, her mouth fell open in awe.

Before them lay an expansive plain stretching endlessly, with a dense forest far in the distance. A great sun hung high in the blue sky, and a gentle breeze swept through the grass, making it sway as if they had stepped into a paradise.

At the same time, a game notification popped up in front of each of them.

[Ding! You have entered the high-level node instance "Elf Forest (Lv50-Lv69)"!]

Not only Donlow, but even Fuzzsir was stunned. "This is the Spatial Node?" he asked in disbelief.

He thought this place was even more beautiful than any scenic spot he had ever seen.

Luca nodded. "It's something like that."

Different levels of Spatial Nodes corresponded to different levels of node instances. Clearing them would reward players with a large amount of in-game rewards, similar to Eternal World's Secret Realm.

However, the rewards here were much less generous, and the difficulty was lower. This place was specifically designed as a training ground for players from Earth to help them quickly improve their strength.

To enter the Extraterritorial Battlefield, one needed to reach level 50, which was the threshold for the purple-gold tier. This was because the Extraterritorial Battlefield was home to high-level monsters and those of even higher rank.

These weren't ideas Luca came up with himself; rather, he had copied the design of the Extraterritorial Battlefield from his past life, when it was created by Sophia, with little to no changes made.

He turned to look at the deep, dense forest ahead and said to the others, "Let's go. We'll check out the forest."

The three moved quickly, and in no time, they arrived at the edge of the forest. The forest was far larger than they had expected. The towering trees reached high into the sky, some as tall as a twenty-story building.

The vegetation in the forest was lush and dense, with areas that felt damp. Colorful mushrooms and flowers grew in abundance, and in the air floated blue and green spherical objects. A closer look revealed that these orbs were, in fact, alive.

"What adorable little creatures," Donlow said, smiling as she reached out to touch one of the green orbs. But Luca's expression suddenly changed, and he quickly warned, "Don't touch it."

It was too late. Donlow's hand had already made contact with the green orb, and almost immediately, the orb, which had previously seemed harmless, turned hostile.

A pair of crimson eyes opened, glaring furiously at Donlow. At the same time, the surrounding vines seemed to come to life, shooting toward Donlow.

She was stunned by the sudden attack, and by the time she regained her senses, the vines were already upon her. There was no time to dodge.

Just as things seemed hopeless, a streak of crimson light cut through the air, and in an instant, the vines that were attacking Donlow were severed. Luca stood in front of her, wielding Starseeker. On the back of his hand, a crimson magic rune appeared, and flames engulfed Starseeker's blade. The severed vines turned to ash in midair.

The green orb that had attacked Donlow was furious at the sight. It buzzed angrily, and thick wood-elemental energy erupted from it. The surrounding trees began to tremble violently.

But Luca wasn't about to give it a chance. With a cold, determined look in his eyes, he swung his blade without hesitation, directly attacking the monster before them.

A crimson blade of light flashed once more, and the vines that had been rushing toward the three of them halted midair. The green orb froze for a moment before exploding in a burst of glowing fragments, scattering in all directions.
