Chapter 305 276. Beast Taming World
In the vast primeval forest, three giant beasts were moving swiftly.
In the center was a handsome Giant Crimson Wolf, and flanking it on either side, a Giant Python and a Three-tailed White Fox advanced together in step.
The formidable presence of the three Magical Beasts frightened the weaker creatures of the forest, causing them to scatter in all directions, yet from the distant reaches of the forest, equally powerful auras would occasionally emit warnings, unwilling to show weakness.
"This really is an interesting world."
Perched atop the Giant Crimson Wolf, holding her small, soft, and fragrant younger sister in her arms, Dorothy was in high spirits.
Throughout their journey, Miss Ghost Mask and Alice competed to inform her about this Beast Park World, giving her a certain understanding of it.
This world, as she had previously surmised, revolved around summoners, who were in fact referred to as Beastmasters by the world's indigenous people.
It was a world teeming with Magical Beasts, and the humanoid Races of this world had developed a unique Beast Taming civilization based on Magical Beasts, masterfully taming and nurturing them for their own use. The Beastmaster was the most important and highest status profession in this world.
And Dorothy had to admit that her prior poverty had limited her imagination; this world was not the small world she had initially thought it to be. It was a large world, one of the top-tier Origin Worlds in the Western Universe, second only to the Four Great Cataclysmic Races, with extremely high potential for strength.
However, despite this, the world had ultimately fallen prey to the Witches and was conquered, becoming an outstanding base for the production of elite familiars.
It's worth mentioning that the conqueror of this world was none other than one of the three Grand Inquisitors of the Judgment Court, the Great Judge of Annihilation.
As such, this Beast Taming World was in fact the private property of the Great Judge, who generously opened this world to all Judges, providing it as an internal benefit for the Judgment Court.
Upon this realization, Dorothy fell silent for a moment.
My goodness, just how many worlds do you own? Are we really that wealthy?
Home Martial Soul felt a bit conflicted.
Damn it, does this mean if her startup fails she'll have to go back home to inherit a bunch of worlds and become a Great Lord who lives a life of idleness?
That kind of life doesn't seem too bad...
Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey! What's the fun in a life without any ambitions left?
Hmph, just a big world? In the future, I'll secure a few of my own as well.
Dorothy stubbornly thought to herself.
And as the three Magical Beasts continued their swift rush, they soon left the vast forest behind. A flat plain appeared in Dorothy's view, at the center of which lay a well-defended massive city, with towering city walls hundreds of meters high that rose imposingly into the distance.
Soon, the group arrived at the city gate at the foot of the wall, where two powerful Sub-Dragons, each tens of meters tall, crouched on either side of the entrance. Seeing Dorothy and company approaching, the two Sub-Dragons lowered their heads, regarding them with dignity.
Just as Dorothy was wondering how they would enter the city, she noticed the other three individuals pulling out their Identity Tokens. Home Martial Soul followed suit and took out her Grand Inquisitor's Command, raising it high.
The two Sub-Dragons briefly glanced at the Iron Medals of the other three, unimpressed, and merely nodded faintly, maintaining the dignity of the strong. However, when they saw the gleaming silver Dragon Medal in Dorothy's hand, their eyes bulged, and the entire bodies of the dragons prostrated on the ground.
"We humbly welcome the Dragon King's Envoy to Dragon King City."
The two Sub-Dragons welcomed them loudly with an especially humble demeanor.
Dorothy: "....."
What the hell, and what's a Dragon King's Envoy?
Before she had time to ponder further, the previously closed main gate, which only left small doors on each side for passage, suddenly burst open. A large group of people emerged from the gate, led by two women—one was a witch, and the other seemed to be a native of the locality.
This scene also stunned Alice, Madeline, and Miss Ghost Mask.
The three of them didn't receive such treatment when they came to get their familiars. They had entered through a side door, so was this the value of a Grand Inquisitor's title?
... The three Iron Medal holders shivered in the cold...
Dorothy, also not expecting such a grand reception, looked towards the witch from the welcoming party. She was a Dragon Witch, stunning with a mature air and a tall figure. Judging from the Magic Power aura, she was indeed a Great Witch.
Of course, what stood out was the pair of large, curled horns on her head—similar to those of Senior Mia, indicating she must be from the Astoros Family.
And so, the group proceeded into the city amidst a grand welcoming ceremony, drawing curious glances from the city's residents along the way.
Dorothy, not fond of such attention, felt a bit out of place, but thankfully her mask made it a bit more bearable.
The Great Judge of Annihilation, the Clown, was the one standing out. What did this have to do with Dorothy the civil engineering witch?
The Home Martial Soul curiously surveyed the city of another world, noting its unexpectedly modern features. The technology level was clearly high, with skyscrapers everywhere, and an abundance of projections, outdoor televisions, and billboards. People also held personal devices with an obvious sci-fi appearance, akin to mobile phones.
However, unlike the purely sci-fi world of the Moon Rabbits, this city had a greater number of Magical Beasts. Nearly every resident was accompanied by Magical Beasts of varied sizes and strengths.
Among these Magical Beasts, there were commonplace animals and plants, as well as rarer Elemental Creatures, some mechanical types, and even some species that Dorothy couldn't quite classify.
All this genuinely broadened the horizons of the Home Martial Soul. This civilization, so different from the Witch World, intrigued her, making her wish she could stay here longer to immerse herself in the local customs and culture.
What she found somewhat overwhelming was the fervent gaze of every passerby, as if she truly was an important figure, which made Dorothy wonder what the witches had done to warrant such high status in this world.
After a brief chat with Mia's fellow witch, Dorothy learned about the other's identity.
She was Karin, the Golden Town Commerce Association's branch president in this world, managing the trade of familiars. The local woman with her was the City Lord of Dragon King City, also the most outstanding and powerful Beastmaster of this world.

When Karin realized that Dorothy, the Great Judge, was here to select a familiar, she breathed a sigh of relief. She had been scared that the sudden arrival of such an important person indicated some crisis in this world.
She then recommended the Female City Lord to Dorothy, stating that the latter had access to most of the data on the finest familiars in the world.
This made Dorothy turn her gaze towards the native woman. Between us, if it weren't for Karin's introduction, Dorothy would find it hard to believe that such a delicately cute girl could be the de facto ruler of this world—there wasn't a trace of a bigwig's aura about her.
In fact, when Dorothy looked her way, the City Lord even trembled a bit.
Uh... what?
... The Home Martial Soul was left speechless...@@novelbin@@
