Sophia raised her magic wand, and the sun in the sky suddenly shone even brighter, turning the mere scorching sunlight into the judgmental Holy Fire. In an instant, this Heavenly Fire covered the sky, dyeing the blue heavens a blinding white.

Then the Heavenly Fire fell, like a sword descending from the skies.

The sword was so massive, and its might was so terrifying, it seemed as if it could split the earth in one swing.

But Senior Mia was not to be outdone; she struck her hammer-axe into the ground forcefully, causing the earth to tremble. A rumbling noise rose from the depths, followed by a cloud of dust as something surged up from the ground and grew rapidly, casting a vast shadow over the land.

It was an enormous spire of earth, like a mountain of spikes, not just made of stone, but mixed with various minerals from deep within the ley lines, making this earthen spike mountain even sharper and more robust.

Boom.....

The deafening roar erupted, and the powerful shockwave whipped up the desert sands into a violent sandstorm, obscuring the view.

"Jeez, no wonder those above the Great Witch are called Calamities. This is just the warm-up, and it’s already this terrifying."

In the spectator stands, Dorothy drank some soda to calm her nerves as she watched the cataclysmic spectacle unfold below.

Both magic spells belonged to the most powerful category within the Nine Rings; a single strike capable of annihilating a city of mortals was not a big problem—comparable to the nuclear weapons of her previous life.

And even more fearsome, such attacks were far from the limit for the Great Witch; this was only the beginning of their duel.

Dorothy gathered magic power in her eyes, and her enhanced vision allowed her to see through the sandstorm to the intensely contested duel within.

The relentless Heavenly Fire, like a rainstorm, formed a magnificent barrage in the sky, while Senior Mia, clad in heavy armor, clearly moved slower than Sophia and seemed like a target.

But in reality, Senior Mia had no intention of dodging; standing firm, the countless minerals carried up by the gigantic earth spike were now being smelted by an invisible force, then forged into various weapons such as swords, spears, clubs, and staves. These metal weapons hovered around Senior Mia, weaving and swirling to form an impenetrable defense wall, blocking all the fiery rain from outside.

Yet the contest was far from over, as the next wave of attacks from both sides had already begun.

"Sentencing you, enemy of the gods, your fated death has now descended."

Sophia’s magic wand transformed into a longsword, and she gripped the hilt. The slender blade ignited with pale Holy Flames, the Pure White Witch Sword directed at the foe, issuing this verdict from fate.

Then, the phantom of a scale briefly appeared behind her, one side plummeting, losing balance, and then another calamity descended towards the ground.

"Decree, oh slumbering Golden Country beneath the earth, transform into the wrathful flames of the Earth Mother Goddess."

Senior Mia slammed her hammer’s shaft against the ground, and beneath her feet, a gleaming gold began to spread. Soon after, the phantom of a colossal creature emerged behind her—a great dragon draped in Golden Scale Armor, as majestic as the Earth Mother Goddess herself.

The Radiant Dragon Physique descended.

The Great Dragon opened its maw, within it the seething heat of its Breath already nurtured to fruition.
