Chapter 1384 Debut part 2
Chapter 1384 - 1384 Debut part 2
After the barrier was taken down, Shiva became aware of everyone's movement with his ultra-accurate senses and was able to understand the situation faster than everyone, 'The only one of the Etouldes is alive, and everyone on my side is dead.'
As he swatted Wukong to the side, he also took note of the Evies' movement, 'They're leaving? I also can't feel Regalzeva and Restoras anymore... What happened? What did Kisuke Urahara do?'
Recalling the scene before the barrier blocked their views, he also wondered what happened to Kisuke and where he is now, 'The Evies are retreating calmly, so I can assume that although Kisuke Urahara managed to hold his ground, he's not able to defeat Regalzeva.' Shiva knew how loyal Regalzeva's underlings were, and there was no way they would just quietly leave if something bad had happened to Regalzeva, 'But to think he's capable of pushing Regalzeva back... If he's still alive, I'll need to get rid of him before he fully recovers.'
He was confident that Regalzeva had also maimed Kisuke and needed to take advantage of that situation.
Soon, various abilities descended on him, but he was able to easily defend by covering himself with his [Flames of Decay]. While these flames were very similar to the Bael Clan's Power of Destruction, they were much more malleable and flexible than the latter. And with Shiva using them, they were much more destructive than even Sirzechs' Power of Destruction in his Super Devil form. There was a reason why the Deities and Buddhas thought that Shiva couldn't use these flames casually, as they usually destroyed his own body due to their potency, "For interfering in this Divine Battle, I'll hang their lifeless bodies on the gates of Mount Kailash to rot."
Shiva then noticed the smirk on Indra's face and asked, "I can snap your neck at any moment, and you still have the gall to smile?"
"Divine Battle, my ass. Kisuke Urahara already took away the honor of this battle." Indra's smirk became a condescending smile, "And I'm very glad he did."
The corner of Shiva's brow twitched.
Indra then started chuckling, "You may have won, but your victory was meaningless. I didn't realize it at first, but before Kisuke Urahara could steal the honor of this battle, you had already killed it. You threw away your dignity and became someone disgraceful."
"Haa! Disgraceful? This is all just the whining of a loser." Despite his words, however, Indra could tell that he was bothered by what was said.
"Whining? Sure, call it that. But do you think your words have weight? You, who have forsaken your Divine Body and can only rely on borrowed powe—Guhh!"
Shiva clutched Indra's neck firmer, interrupting what he was saying. However, Indra continued to smile and kept going, "This is no Divine Battle... Not with someone who's essentially a fake. And to think that you have the face to be mad after what Kisuke Urahara did? Isn't that hilarious?"
Shiva's patience ran out, but he felt a slight movement of air from behind him. He didn't bother turning around and could only feel a tiny point trying to break through his forcefield defense.
Curious about the strange aura coming from it, he turned around and saw one of the unknown women from Kisuke's group with a black and gold gauntlet and a small chain linking it to a stinger-like blade on her middle finger. Behind her was a pair of raging mini-tornadoes acting as wings and propelling her forward.
Black and purple flames emerged from his body once again, intending to devour his assailant.
The woman's sharp wind warped and met the flames. The wind blew the flames away, but only for a short moment before the flames became stronger as if she were adding fuel to them.
The woman's eyes widened, and she hurriedly retreated.
But the attack from Kisuke's faction didn't stop there, as two more women in oriental attire brandished their blades—one towards Shiva's neck and the other on the arm he was using to hold up Indra.
Just like the first time, the blades were stopped by a semi-translucent barrier covering Shiva's body, and the flames also came after them, forcing them to retreat.
The next one to make an attempt was a man with red hair and a strange weapon. He thrust his blade toward the top of Shiva's head while twisting his hand, "Soo Zabimaru, Zaga Teppou! (Twin Kings Snake Tail, Snake Fang Iron Gun!)"
Behind the red-haired man, jaws of spiritual energy formed. These jaws then closed down on Shiva, forming the visage of a large, serpentine skull, crushing it with its fangs.
This blast of dense explosive energy cracked Shiva's shield, and he finally took note of the threat. However, it still wasn't a big deal for him, as he just willed his flames to erase the serpentine skull. Although it was a clash of Spiritual Power and Magic Power, the properties of the flames made it impossible for the inherent reactiveness of the two to occur.
"...Seriously?" the red-haired man muttered with a wry smile. Although this technique of his was not as effective when his sword couldn't impale its target, he was still confident that he could at least burn Shiva's face off, "...But I'm just the opening act," he added softly.
Within the covers of his black and purple flames, Shiva suddenly shuddered and turned his head upwards. He was sure that he had deflected the red-haired man's attack, but something much more threatening was coming from that direction, 'It hasn't ended?' Shiva thought while clenching his hand, intending to behead Indra with brute force.
Unfortunately for him, Indra still had some energy left, as he was able to save his life, and Shiva only managed to snap his neck.
Regretting that he couldn't finish him off, Shiva let go of Indra and crossed his arms in front of him while also increasing his Magic Power output.
Shiva was already expecting it, but seeing a greatsword cutting through the flames he was very proud of still surprised him immensely, and that same greatsword immediately reached him, cutting through his barrier and reaching his metallic arms.
Shiva gritted his teeth, and his chest lit up with purple light. A split second later, everyone was surprised to feel that Shiva's Magic Power had increased yet again exponentially, and his already very nasty flames had strengthened, "Haaahhh!!!"
The barrier surrounding his body immediately mended and expanded outwards, pushing everyone near him away.
Witnessing this, Yoruichi muttered, "So he really accepted the Evie Generator, and it looks like it's one of the highest class too."
What do you think?
