Chapter 1396 ‘Future’ part 5

Chapter 1396 - 1396 ‘Future’ part 5

Kisuke and Yoruichi arrived at the far side of the Earth's moon, and there were another two people waiting for them. "Just the two of you?" Seraselbes' clone asked.

"It has been three years since we first met for this. I had more than enough time to give my farewells," Kisuke replied, turning his head towards Yoruichi.

Yoruichi shrugged her shoulders and added, "More than enough. To the point that he actually almost gave up."

While Seraselbes remained expressionless, the corner of Mitsuya's brows twitched for a bit, and he immediately changed the subject, "How much did you let them in?"

"Not much. I did tell them that I'll be going to another world and they'll need to do their part by cornering Melvazoa. They have a lot of questions, but I think it would be better to just leave it to their imaginations."

Seraselbes crossed her arms and furrowed her brows. "Aren't you worried that they'd do something stupid?"

"The people I trust can handle their stupidity. What I'm worried about the most are the possible appearance of traitors. I want them to have as little ammo as possible." Kisuke looked at Mitsuya and said, "Azazel and Ajuka probably suspect that you're involved with this, so I'll let you handle them."

"Well, I was already expecting that, and I already prepared several things once they started approaching me. If they are actually smart enough, they'll leave me alone." Mitsuya dismissed his concerns and changed the topic once again, "By the way, aren't we still missing someone?"

"We are, and he's coming here through a different route. And let me be clear, I didn't invite Gasper Vladi."

Mitsuya, who was already preparing for the transfer, immediately stopped. "Hmm? Then who's going to be your 'map'? I know I said that the 'future' Gasper Vladi will be aware of your arrival, but we don't really have much choice since he's the only one in this world who's connected to that world."

Mitsuya also already explained that he can't act as a 'map' because he technically doesn't exist in the 'future' anymore, and Restoras in his head is just a standalone consciousness that can't even connect back to his original consciousness without opening the right path towards his original world first.

"As you've said, that Gasper Vladi will immediately notice me, and while you canceled your project, those in that world are still not aware of it. To me, they are strangers, and more importantly, enemies," Kisuke coldly answered. "I can't reveal my position to my enemies, can I now?"

Mitsuya was speechless. He had nothing to say back because it was clear to him too that although they share the same faces, they are definitely totally different people. "Fine. You can't trust him. I can understand that, but how are you going to substitute him? As far as I know, there's no one else we can connect to. Like the Telos Karma, his Sacred Gear also presides over time."

Kisuke didn't say anything and just smiled before turning to an empty space.

Seraselbes and Mitsuya were confused, but they guessed that the substitute for the 'map' must be arriving. Just as they expected, a spike in Magic Power was detected, and soon, a Teleportation Magic appeared.

As the motes of light converged, four individuals came out of it, three of whom Seraselbes and Mitsuya were already familiar with. "Yo, Boss~! We brought him!"

Flanna immediately greeted Kisuke with a big smile on her face. Along with her were Ophis, Lilith, and a blindfolded man with a regal aura, which made Mitsuya, Restoras, and even Seraselbes stand on their toes. "Good work, guys." Kisuke patted Ophis and Lilith's heads. "You can ask Yoruichi for your reward later."

He then turned to the man they brought and greeted him, "Good day, Yhwach-san. Thank you for granting my request. I didn't think you'd agree, though."

Ophis and Lilith removed the shackles from his arms, and Yhwach replied, "You're granting my freedom. I think it's a good deal."

"The freedom I promised you doesn't automatically grant you the right to do anything, though. Please do remember that you're still bound by various stipulations." Kisuke then gave Flanna the signal to remove his blindfold.

Flanna nodded and pointed her finger at the blindfold. A few seconds later, the blindfold came loose and dropped from Yhwach's face, revealing his closed eyes.

But at the same time it came loose, his sealed Reiatsu came rushing out of him, which made a small shockwave, pushing all the moondust away from them. For a moment, Seraselbes became slightly worried that her concealing barrier wouldn't be able to hold out.

But she soon forgot that as Yhwach suddenly donned the darkness around him, and he became dotted with numerous big golden eyes that seemed to swim around him.

Seraselbes stood her ground, but Mitsuya couldn't help but jump back in fear, and Restoras' panicked voice was heard, [Just who are you people!?]

Without a word, Yhwach turned towards the source of Restoras' voice, and the eyes on his body faced Mitsuya too, causing him to have a panic attack and inadvertently activate his dual Balance Breaker.

As Mitsuya became covered with his blue bodysuit armor, Yoruichi immediately came in front of him and patted down his shoulder. "Calm down."

"But...!" The gauntlet representing Mitsuya's Telos Karma was shining brightly, as if trying to resist Yhwach's aura.

"Listen to her, Kanzaki-san. Stop panicking and try reigning in your Sacred Gear." Kisuke also raised his voice from the distance. "I can assure your safety, but only if you don't counteract his gaze."

Kisuke found the situation interesting. While Mitsuya's Telos Karma forcibly imposes outcomes, Yhwach's [The Almighty] alters the future itself into whatever outcome he desires. 'Too bad. I won't be able to dissect this interaction.'

"Fascinating..." was Yhwach's first word the moment he regained his powers. "Is that the place you want to go to?"

"If you're talking about a similar but different world from this, then most likely." Kisuke replied, feeling honestly impressed. "...I didn't think it'd work out as easily as this."

"So you called him without knowing if it was going to be a success?" Seraselbes asked while committing Yhwach to her memory. 'First was that Aizen Sosuke, now this guy. I don't think Melvazoa would be able to stay still.'

"I like to try out my preferred option first before anything else." Kisuke then approached Yhwach with confidence. "Do you think you can share what you can see?"

Yhwach turned his head, covered in darkness, towards him. "I can... if you're brave enough, that is."

"...I think I'll require more explanation than that." A bad premonition came into Kisuke's mind. 'He wouldn't say that I need to accept his blood, right?'

As if reading his mind, Yhwach broke into a cold smile and said, "Accept my blood."
