Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 205 Quests Completed

A few hours before the kidnapping game, Kent had passed out after he got his ass handed to him by the Spear Saintess.

Though he wasn't calling it a beating and more like a duel where he lost, in the end, he passed out and had to spend 10 hours in dreamland, knowing nothing of the mischief his two-night riders were up to.

But when he woke up, he saw the message that their job was well done. However, his master was there cleaning his body, so he could only smile and wait for her to leave.

After spending a little more time with him, she indeed left for Unity's duel while he waited for Ingrid to come back so they could go together. He needed an excuse to get in, and Ingrid was the best person to take him.

He could have gone with his master, but he first wanted to check the messages of the quests he had completed through his Night Riders and become 15% friends with the Spear Saintess... by being beaten up.

Initially, he expected the quest to end only when he delivered Turyn, who is now sitting powerless in his tower prison, to Alina. However, it seems the tower has evaluated that the quest is completed now that Turyn is in his hands.

⟪ Congratulations! You have completed the first quest in your Chain Quest. You have received your rewards. ⟫

⟪ Rewards: Received ⟫

→ 300,000 Tower Points

→ A Soul Technique (For Elsa)

→ A One Time Summoning Talisman

The points were added, giving him additional money he could spend inside the tower. He did not need to buy things using spirit stones when he could use tower points.@@novelbin@@

Of course, he wasn't about to downplay spirit stones just yet. He still needed them in the human world.

He retrieved the Soul Technique, which he had earned for Elsa. She is currently inside the Soul Pagoda in the Soul Gate, learning soul skills as per the requirements her master gave her.

Of course, she is much more attuned to the soul, so while it will take her some time to learn a skill from within the Pagoda, she would, without a doubt, need only a couple of days to do that.

"Soul Piercing Art."

Kent read the technique's name in his hands, wondering what it was made up of. Of course, he could learn and master it within minutes, but he wasn't about to take something that belonged to his woman.

"Gaia, make a copy."

He could only copy it and let her learn it first before he would do so. It was always good to have some skills at your fingertips. You never know when you might need them.

⟪ A One Time Summoning Talisman ⟫

→ By channelling your energy into this talisman, you can summon a random being to come to aid you in battle.

→ The being summoned will be based on your luck, so while it can summon an avatar of a god, it can also summon cannon fodder, which in some cases wouldn't even qualify to be fodder, considering fodders are useful sometimes.

→ The summon will spend 24 hours helping you before they are summoned back to their dimensions and worlds.

→ If the summon wants to stay after 24 hours, you must form a soul contract with them. This contract will be made known when the summon decides to stay.

→ If the summon dies before 24 hours, they will return to their own world and dimensions.

→ You can only use the talisman ones.

"It can be useful or a waste of time at the same time. In fact, it might even be one of those things you receive without any commercial value," Kent said, shaking his head.

He didn't know why, but after his first summoning ritual, where he got Akira instead of a powerful fighter, he didn't feel optimistic about this.

'Then again, Akira is overpowered in her own way. I guess getting soul crystals is the best way to utilize her expertise,' Kent thought before checking the next quest message...

⟪ Congratulations on completing the Quest: Overdue Revenge. You have received your rewards ⟫

⟪ Rewards: Received ⟫

→ 1 Million Tower Points

→ Random Gift Bingo Ticket

Again, he had received loads of tower points for doing nothing. Not that he was about to complain. He is the master of the Night Riders, so their hustle is his hustle. It was only natural to reap the benefits.

'I guess I will let them watch the auction from the tower and let me know if they need anything so I can buy it for them,' Kent thought inwardly before quickly shifting to the second reward.

He retrieved a card from the tower storage. He had used something similar before, so he knew what had to be done next.

He channelled his spiritual energy into the card, which glowed and vanished as expected. The next second, a message appeared before his vision...

⟪ You have Receive a Gift: Memory Key ⟫

Kent blinked a couple of times when he saw the message. For a minute, he thought Gaia was playing a prank on him, but after blinking some more, he concluded he wasn't hallucinating.

"What the... f—"

He looked at the message with mixed emotions.

He knew what the key was for... He knew what he saw in the video captured by the tower was true... He knew if he used the key, he would be unlocking a random memory of his past lives.

This meant he would know what kind of person he was or had been in his past lives, and as such, he would know whether he was someone worthy of respect or if he just got lucky.

'The fuck am I thinking... I literally saw over three personalities, and they are all badass.' Kent grinned, not knowing how to feel at the moment.

Meanwhile, inside the tower, Gaia and Akira stared at each other with a smile playing on their lips.

"I call dibs on the Dragon King," Akira said, holding up a finger.

"You will be wrong. The Dragon King was Master's first incarnation, but also the one that didn't count. This means he wouldn't be awakening that just yet.

He will need to go through a couple of incarnations first, and he has lived quite a few lives. So while he may now possess the first bloodline, I think he will be awakening the Sword Savage (Lord Genesis)."

"How are you sure?" Akira asked, looking as though Gaia had conspired against her.

"Mind Weaver told me many years ago when I asked how incarnations are determined. You know how she is—always calculating improbable outcomes," Gaia smirked.

"That doesn't change anything. Mind Weaver can be wrong sometimes," Akira said, convinced the Chaos Dragon was about to awaken.

"Yes... Mind Weaver can be wrong. But she was only wrong once, and that was when she couldn't calculate the master's decision on ultimate sacrifices during the Primordial Wars.

Aside from that, she has never been wrong before, and I doubt she will be this time, too," Gaia said, teasing Akira, who knew she was conspiring against her.

"Fuck..." Akira clenched her tiny fist and said nothing more. She went back to staring at Kent, who held the key, thinking about what to do next.

However, before he could make a decision, Ingrid called out from behind, signalling she was back from her class. Kent put away the key for later.

He would be entering seclusion for now, anyway...
