Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 275 Testing His Servant

Among everything the Everlasting Immortal Sword Sect elders wanted to hear, they never expected a mere brat to end his sentence with those arrogant words.

'do well not to offend me.'

Those words were the most unbelievable words that none of them expected from someone like Kent. It was like he was threatening them and for some reason, they took those words to heart.

It was also the reason why they just couldn't believe they were being threatened.

As for the Saintess, she was just looking at Kent with an expression filled with shock.

It was like hearing such a plain threat was something she never saw coming. Kent just threatened an entire sect, and the feeling behind it was real.

'Who is this young man' She wondered.

Gate Master Mara, however, was shocked when she heard Kent's threat, so she said nothing, mainly because she couldn't think of anything to say.

"Are you threatening the Everlasting Immortal Sword Sect?" Elder Cecil asked.

"Take it however you want to, but know this: I may not appear like it, but when it comes to causing trouble, I am an expert. Now, ask yourself, do you want to offend someone like me?

Also, before you think it, know that your chances of killing me are next to none.

You don't have what it takes to kill me so better be a lamb and go back. Tell them they will be one saintess short for the next 100 years...perhaps forever."

Kent turned to the Saintess.

"I know this is sudden, but can you tell the Elders your decision?" Kent said.

He wasn't about to let her go, though. But he also knew the Gate Master had already damaged the relationship between her and her sect.

"Do you want to become my servant?" Kent asked.

"I am willing," she replied almost immediately, making the three Elders look at her with frowns and anger. From the look of things, they had to leave before the situation escalated.

"You will hear from us, brat," they said before leaving.

The negotiation was now void.

Next, they would do what they do best and try to mess with the dragon. Now, when that happens, the universe will step in, and you all know what follows next.

But now that the Elders were gone, Kent sighed and looked at the Saintess again.

"Are you sure you want to become my servant?" he asked. Though he wanted her answer to be yes, now that he had it, he wanted to understand why she made that decision.

"I just want to be away from the sect for a while. Being your servant wasn't something I wanted, but it was enough to stay away for a while, I guess," she replied, making Kent nod.

"So, you are now my servant, meaning you have to listen to my commands. Are you willing?" he asked again.

"I will listen to you, but don't do anything that crosses my bottom line," she said, trying to act tough. But in truth, she was just someone who needed to do a lot of thinking.

'I will test her first before officially making her my servant. Who knows what she would do when she gets the chance to run?' Kent still didn't trust her, just as she also didn't trust him.

But that was about to change.

"Since I am your master now, why don't you go and apologize to the Elders you insulted a couple of days ago?" Kent said, making the Saintess frown.

"Are you serious?" she asked, clearly not expecting to be asked to apologize.

She knew what she did wasn't the best reflection of her character, but she had to get the Saintess and her disciple out somehow. And now, she was being asked to apologize.

"You offended them, and since you will be living here from now on, it's only right to apologize and get in their good graces," Kent said, watching her closely to see what she would do.

Unexpectedly, the Saintess nodded and stood up. "I will do as you say. It's just an apology anyway," she said, walking out.

'Gaia, follow and evaluate her. If she meets the standards, let me know so I can add her to the Servant Tower,' Kent ordered, and Gaia was more than happy to comply.

After she left, only the Saintess and Kent remained in the hall.

"You do know they won't take this lying down," she said, but Kent just shrugged.

"They can do whatever they want. It's not like I have time for them anyway," he said. He wasn't about to cry over something he didn't place any value on.

He knew that while he was inside the sect, they wouldn't do anything drastic. But even if he went out, who was to say they would have much luck?

Unless, of course, they sent someone on the level of a Root Transcendent. But he wasn't worried—at least not yet.

"If you say so. Just know that while you are inside the sect, I can protect you, but the moment you go out, I won't be able to do much. I am not your personal bodyguard, so don't expect me to follow you around," the Gate Master said.

"You wouldn't have to worry about that, Gate Master. There are things I must handle on my own, and this is one of them. They asked for it, so as an obedient young man, I had to respond," Kent said with a smile.

"Tsk, obedient my foot. Do you know the amount of trouble you alone have brought to this sect? If anything, I should be joining them in torturing you," the Gate Master retorted.

"Yet here you are, protecting me," Kent smiled. "Do you know what I think?"

"What?"

"I think you like me to the extent that you wouldn't want me getting hurt," Kent laughed.

"Don't flatter yourself, brat," the Gate Master scoffed.

Kent just smiled and chose to get down to business first. It's always better to handle business before engaging in pleasures.

"Gate Master, I am looking for someone, and according to the information I have, you are the only one who can help me. My master recommended you, if you must know," Kent said.

"Who are you looking for?" she asked.

"Her name is Nara..." Kent said, and her expression changed instantly.
