Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 573 573: Emma Lewis (2)

Emma's steps seemed heavy at first because her thoughts about her father were mixed, but soon, she heard a huge explosion and felt the ground shake.

'It's time.'

She smiled at the huge fortified building a few streets away.

While all the city's forces were calling for help and fighting their girls, the city's leaders were watching everything closely. They were the worst kind of leaders Emma could find, just the kind of leaders she hated the most.

She was never the kind of leader who hid behind subordinates because she didn't want to be part of a group of leaders who made their people fight for their own interests.

She wants to be a leader who, when tragedy strikes, is the first to be there to try to resolve it. That is why she feels increasingly disappointed in her father but increasingly in awe of Matthew.

Matthew has been a born leader since birth, not just the leader of a few, but the leader of an entire race. Despite that, he never stopped fighting at the head of his people; that was one of the facets of him that most captivated her.

She vividly remembers when her subordinates and close friends told her that he had gone to the front to face the City of the Clans leaders when they were just a boy with 5,000 of power.

That was admirable. He was a worthy leader. That was why she had stepped aside; he was more worthy than her for the position she craved, and she was not wrong.

That was why she knew: 'That is the best way to judge a leader.'

Looking through a window, she could see the faces of different leaders who were full of riches and luxuries.

'As for you... You don't even deserve to be called leaders.'

Suddenly, her ears focused on trying to hear every movement in the city, ignoring her slightly hurried pace. She had activated one of the abilities that Matthew had recently given her.

Thanks to this, an unusual spiritual power was activated, which no one could detect. And that allowed her to hear what the leaders were saying and doing there.

"When will the Great General come? This is getting out of hand. Who would have thought that it was women who were attacking?"

"And that they were so tough... I'm afraid that arresting them would be a good idea..."

"Arrest them? No, they're perfect. Not only are they beautiful, but they have a lot of vampiric power, and on top of that, they can use explosive magic. They're perfect."

"True... Having children with them would be a good idea to improve our bloodlines."

"Besides, if they destroy the city like that, there's nothing we can do, is there? Hahaha, we'll apply for a rebuild because the battle was so tough. I wonder how much money it would cost to repair such a big city, hehehe."

"Hehehehe."

These guys began to feel that the beautiful spring would come for them because the riches of building a city would soon be in their hands. It was inevitable that some money would be lost during construction, wasn't it?

It was totally normal.

But for that to happen, they needed to destroy the city, and in front of them were the chosen ones.

This was a blessing. When the time came, they would stop them, but for now, just let them go.

Among them, there were a few people who stared at them.

'It doesn't matter about the deaths, they only care about the money... Society has been corrupted by money, by power...' These people sighed but did nothing.

While they were focused on talking, suddenly, a strange figure passed extremely fast in front of them.

"Oh? Was that a person?" one exclaimed.

"Go and see."

"Yes, sir."

But just as they were about to move to check, explosions suddenly rang out all over the huge fortress.

"Shit, we're under attack!" Shouted one of them, alerting everyone.

"Activate the mechanisms; I'm going to see who dares!" One of them suddenly ran out, but before he could get through the door to leave the room, he was kicked in the stomach, sending him flying back.

The other man who went to activate the security mechanisms suddenly found himself targeted by an enormous weapon with an extremely wide muzzle that looked like a grenade launcher used by the mafias but more dangerous.

He shuddered. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Are you traitors?!" he shouted angrily at the two men standing there.

But suddenly, he saw a mask fall from the heads of these 'men', and the faces of beautiful women appeared before him. Their clothes were also torn off, revealing that they were wearing the same type of clothing as the women attacking the city.

This left them in shock.

"Hehe." They both laughed heartily. "It was easy to infiltrate here when everyone is so stupid and full of themselves."

"Hehehe, but I'm curious," said the woman pointing at the other guy. "I haven't fought people with 70,000 of power, nor have I seen them get shot in the head. I wonder if he can resist? Let's put him to the test." With a sinister smile, she pulled the trigger on her weapon.

This weapon was not the same as the ones carried by the rest of the girls; she was one of those chosen by Matthew to carry a much more destructive type.

That's why this one looked like a grenade launcher.

So, its magic was less compressed, but it was more powerful.

Would it work?

It didn't take long to find out when a powerful shot came out of that huge beak that could fit a head. It was an explosive fire magic, similar to a mine. So, as soon as it touched his opponent's head, it immediately exploded.

There was nothing more than that.

Then the woman smiled.

"An instant death. I guess at this distance, there's nothing they can do..." She looked terrifyingly at the men on the other side of the room, who were in shock, thinking about what to do.

Some were trembling because they were the weakest in the room. Others quickly stepped forward to confront them directly, but suddenly, the other woman on the side stepped forward and put her gun against one of their stomachs. Without blinking, she shot him, causing one of them to fly apart.

"!"

"Kill them; there's no way they can shoot that much of it in one go!" one of them shouted, stepping forward to hit the woman who had just blown one of his companions to pieces.

He was the first to strike and managed to get there in time to hit the woman hard enough to send her flying to the other side of the room.

"You see?! Surround her; they can't shoot anymore!"

This triggered everyone to quickly gather around them and start hitting them from different angles.

Naturally, this type of weapon had that kind of restriction because it was too destructive.

That's why only the two and three others were qualified to have them: They required their carriers to be powerful.

And when they put down their weapons, this became clear.

"Hehe, so you've discovered us," said one of them, stopping the other's blow.

At the same time, the one who had been hit came flying out from behind and hit him square in the stomach.

"Unfortunately, we're not useless, hehe."
