Chapter 597 597: Seven Spirits of the Abyss (2)
'Although I can't use the most powerful spirits, the ones I have available to me now are enough,' she thought gently and turned her right hand on which the Spirit of the Wind rested.
It was the spirit she was most familiar with. Even though it was the wind of another world, she could still feel a deep connection between herself and that power, so soon a strange wind began to spread throughout the surroundings and to blow on all those present.
"Since you have waited long enough, I will give you the beautiful gift of dying peacefully, before a gentle wind that will wrap you up."
When his words ended, the gentle wind that seemed to be blowing around them suddenly darkened, and the whole place was enveloped in absolute darkness.
This alarmed King Richter. "ATTACK!" he shouted, but suddenly, he could feel cold sweat running down his back as a dangerous aura passed through his surroundings and scratched him.
Alice, in the distance, looked slightly surprised. "Oh, you managed to dodge that. Not bad." But then she moved her hand again as if she wanted to grab something, and she held the portal of energy tightly in her hand, which caused several stakes of that dark wind to be recreated and shoot out toward where she wanted them to go.
This wind continued to flutter around and cover every corner with a terrifying cold and a darkness of fear.
And she could control it all.
That gentle, cold, deadly wind that spreads throughout the surroundings allows her to use it however she wants. This is no ordinary wind; it is pure energy from the spiritual abyss, so it can be used to attack, defend, or do anything else you can imagine.
No matter how far away it is, everything that is being 'bathed' by the wind can be influenced by it.
King Richter moved his body abruptly once more, jumping backward to dodge one of the powerful attacks she had launched at him, but doing so left several of his subordinates unprotected, including the great snake that was still floating in the air, badly injured.
Then, the different wind stakes were driven into the bodies of several people, blowing their heads off in an instant. The rest of the wind stakes were driven through the huge snake's body, making it scream in pain.
A terrifying chill suddenly invaded his body when one of the stakes destroyed half of his head.
Even so, he was not just any monster. Even with a serious wound like that, he didn't die. But he did suddenly go mad when he lunged ferociously at Alice, wanting to swallow her alive because of the pain she was causing him.
His reasoning was gradually beginning to fail him.
Suddenly, he saw that Alice was raising her left hand, where she had something different. He began to feel deathly afraid at that moment, but he couldn't help it.
Suddenly, a strange ball of powerful energy appeared over Alice, emanating rays of sunlight. Many of them were frightened and almost screamed, but most of those rays were being directed at the snake.
"At least I should test its effectiveness in combat since it took me so much work to 'conquer' them," she said casually.
The Dark Sun's Rays suddenly entered the huge snake's body, and he felt how the terrifying cold he was feeling suddenly turned into a terrifying heat that made him tremble with fear when he felt that several of his organs had been burned in an instant.
But the next second, that heat disappeared, and the previous cold seemed to prevail, so he somehow felt better, but at the same time, his fighting capacity dropped drastically to almost zero.
And a few thousandths of a second later, the heat returned, making him tremble with fear.
But suddenly, the other half of his head was firmly held by Alice's left hand.
"Maybe I would have liked to have you as a subordinate, you little snake. You would make a very good team with Albert. It's a pity you are worthless, and on top of that, you are treacherous." She smiled coldly, and from her hands emerged those powerful dark rays, embedding themselves firmly in every part of the huge snake's body.
She then moved her hands slightly upwards as if to make them come out, and they obeyed. The solar rays began to pour out of the snake's body, leaving countless deep wounds all over its flesh. Additionally, something else emerged.
It had been bathed by the wind from the abyss and was currently above it, so it was being absorbed at every moment. Thanks to this, Alice was able to make the wind inside him or any vestige she could control emerge like powerful stakes in all directions.
The enormous body of the snake suddenly became a sieve full of holes, and it couldn't even make a sound because its head was destroyed before dying in terrible agony.
The dark sun above Alice did not rest; it was constantly creating Dark Sun Rays, and they flew in all directions. With the first example in front of them, everyone couldn't help but feel afraid and start dodging or running away from everything they could.
Some even turned around to run or fly away, but then they realized something.
There were several dead bodies that had been killed by a casual movement of that woman's hand; they were flying, but after dying, they began to fall to the ground.
That made them stop and look at her with hatred.
"KILL HER!" they roared, realizing that if they didn't do that, they wouldn't be able to escape.
They all swarmed in a frenzy of powerful attacks towards Alice, forcing her to take a few steps back into the air. However, before they could reach her, stakes of wind energy were created from all sides and flew towards them, killing some.
"We must kill her if we want this to stop. Just dodge; you don't need to fight those things!" King Richter shouted as he jumped forward, trying to grab Alice by the head, but she then disappeared and appeared elsewhere.
"Hehe, you seem to forget that I can control the wind," she said softly, as she appeared from behind two people and tore their heads off with strange rays of the dark sun mixed with that abyssal wind.
'She can do that too? Shit... What a strange wind.' King Richter complained and once again activated his saint sword to attack ferociously. Still, he could only begin to defend himself when Alice appeared before him and launched a flurry of powerful attacks, all of which seemed to be imbued with the strange wind energy.
He was forced to defend himself, but the barrage of attacks did not only come from the front. The front was just a distraction.
He was forced to constantly feel rays of dark sunlight on his body and to be terrifyingly bathed in that strange dark wind that covered the place.
This made Alice smile.
What do you think?
