Chapter 123: Chapter 123: The Children Will All Be Exposed Chapter 123: Chapter 123: The Children Will All Be Exposed Ye Sihan’s face turned grim, and his inspection was ruthless.
Tang Yu whimpered out, her legs white and straight, kicked helplessly, “Stop…”
Ye Sihan bent down, his handsome and cold face drawing close, “Aren’t you satisfied with having me? Hmm?”
“It’s not like that…” Tang Yu’s breathing was ragged, like a fish gasping for air on the shore, on the verge of death.
“It seems I’ve indulged you too much.” Ye Sihan said coldly.
“Ah! It hurts…” Tang Yu trembled, trying to push him away, but she couldn’t move his body that was filled with immense strength. “It’ll break, it’ll break… Hmm!”
Her mouth was suddenly sealed, and she no longer even had the right to cry out in pain.
Enduring the rampant inspection by Ye Sihan.
It was a long time before it stopped.
Tears brimmed in the corners of Tang Yu’s eyes, her body curled up on the sofa, small and fragile.
Ye Sihan stood up, looking down on her from a height, his deep voice filled with chilling detachment, “You’ve had too much freedom, starting tomorrow, I will arrange your life.”
Tang Yu didn’t move, listening to the sound of the door closing.
She closed her eyes, and tears fell onto the sofa.
Was this the result of her efforts? A once fairly tolerable relationship with Ye Sihan now reverted to how it was in the past because she defied him?
Was it still not enough?
What would be enough…
Saying she was too free and needed to have her life arranged by him, what kind of arrangement would satisfy Ye Sihan’s obsessive desire to control?
She didn’t know, couldn’t even bring herself to imagine, just felt an intense unrest inside.
Even in her dreams at night, the dreams were filled with images of Ye Sihan locking a chain around her neck.
Frightened, she woke up repeatedly.
And then she remembered Li Xue, who was waiting for her at home, and sent her a message to let her know she was safe.
Thinking there would be no reply, because it was almost one o’clock in the morning.
But seconds later, the reply came: Okay, got it.
Tang Yu: Why are you still up so late?
Li Xue: I was just going to the bathroom when I heard the phone.
Tang Yu returned to bed and finally fell into a haze of sleep as the sky began to lighten.
Naturally, she was out of sorts the next day.
At breakfast, sharing the table with Ye Sihan, Tang Yu was observant and cautious, feeling the oppressive aura of Ye Sihan, which made the air feel unsettled too.
She managed to finish breakfast under that suppression.
Ye Sihan stood up and walked out of the dining room, departing.
Tang Yu stood in the hall, watching Ye Sihan walk away until he was out of sight.
Was he going to keep her caged in Ye Mansion again?
Just as she had that thought, a man named Wen approached, “Miss Tang, the car is still waiting!”
Tang Yu snapped back to reality, surprised and relieved at the realization.
Hastening without delay, she hurried out and got into the Rolls-Royce.
The car smoothly left the grounds of the Ye Mansion.
Sitting by the door, Tang Yu sat stiff and upright, while across from her, the man looked out the window, his gaze revealing no emotion, as if oblivious to her presence.
Tang Yu didn’t dare to make a sound, even her breathing was purposely quieted.
The Rolls-Royce stopped at the entrance of KING Group.
Following Tang Yu stepped out, looking confused.
Why were they here?
Nervously, she followed behind Ye Sihan towards the elevator.
Inside, she speculated whether Ye Sihan’s “arrangement” was to bring her into KING Group, to keep her even closer to him.
In this way, he could monitor her every move.
They entered the private elevator and reached the highest floor of authority.
As the elevator doors slowly opened, a man named Xiao Yu was waiting outside, “Good morning, Mr. Ye.”
Ye Sihan strode forward, his face cold and unyielding, his presence intimidating; the whole floor fell silent as a tomb.
Tang Yu followed behind, not heading towards Ye Sihan’s office.
Instead, she went towards the corridor on the other side.
Adjacent to the corridor was an automatic glass door, which opened as they approached.
Entering, they found a reception area; to the left was the office space, where everyone at their desks stood up in unison.
Tang Yu noticed the oversized simplistic backdrop behind the receptionist, emblazoned with the company’s name—Caged Studio.
Such a name would puzzle those not in the know about its meaning.
Yet Tang Yu understood at first glance—she was the ‘caged’ one.
“Created overnight, are you satisfied?” Ye Sihan’s cold black eyes glanced towards her.
Tang Yu looked down, “As long as you’re happy.”
Ye Sihan pinched her chin, “You will be happy too,” he said coldly, then withdrew his hand and turned to leave.
Xiao Yu stayed behind, saying, “Let me take you to your office!”
The office was spacious and luxurious.
There was a desk, a dining table, a sofa like a bed, and every other necessary amenity.
Tang Yu stood in front of the window, opened the blinds, and could see the entire office area.
Naturally, the outside could also see in.
“From now on, you are KING Group’s contracted artist, and inside Caged Studio, you’ll be the only artist. Mr. Ye has already arranged this for you,” Xiao Yu said. “Is there anything you’re dissatisfied with? Let me know, and I’ll arrange it for you.”
“In other words, only the company name was created last night,” Tang Yu said.
“Correct,” Xiao Yu didn’t see the need to hide it.
It was already blatantly obvious without any need for concealment.
Tang Yu’s heart continued to sink.
Her very own studio, yet also the only artist contracted with KING Group.
Before, she had not belonged to any company; her initial purpose was to be thrown into the cast and suffer.
As a result, Ye Sihan had opened a studio specifically to gain complete control over her.
Only a few dozen meters from Ye Sihan’s office.
Xiao Yu then called in two assistants, “You’ve met them before, Zhou Rui, Chen Xindian.”
“Hello, Miss Tang.”
Tang Yu did not speak, her face void of any fluctuating emotions.
Not accepting, not resisting.
But since everything was commanded by Ye Sihan, Xiao Yu was simply carrying on with business, “If there’s anything you need, you can instruct the assistants.”
“Is the instruction just for show, or to keep a watch over me?” Tang Yu asked indifferently.
Xiao Yu did not respond to her question; in reality, everyone was already clear about it.
He then briefed her on some operational matters of the studio, all aimed at filtering resources for Tang Yu.
Being an artist under the banner of KING Group, she wouldn’t need to seek out resources—they would all come to her.
Tang Yu wasn’t listening, not even aware of when Xiao Yu and the assistants had left.
Why should she listen?
It’s not something she could control anyway.
She was just afraid… afraid of being trapped in a cage of this nature, forever out of reach of the air beyond Ye Sihan’s sphere of influence.
Already feeling suffocated.
Was she to be made famous by Ye Sihan, her presence looming everywhere? The details about the kids would get dug up!
She didn’t want it!
Quiet Tang Yu suddenly stood up in shock, heading for Ye Sihan’s office.
Without even knocking, she barged in.
Xiao Yu, who was reporting to Ye Sihan, stopped and looked at her.
Tang Yu charged straight for Ye Sihan, “I don’t need the studio, the assistants, the fame, I don’t want any of it! Can’t it be like before?”
Ye Sihan raised his eyes, which looked at her with a deep and piercing intensity that made it hard to breathe.
Xiao Yu discreetly vanished.
What do you think?
