Chapter 3011: It Looked as if She Were the Villain
Yu Liuli lay lifeless on the ground, her face ashen, and even her lips were drained of color.
If not for the faint trace of breath, she would’ve looked like a corpse.
Yin Tian transferred some energy into her body, causing his soul to grow even more transparent.
It seemed the hard-earned bit of power Yin Tian had accumulated was now depleted again.
Yin Tian’s soul seemed so frail it looked as though it could dissipate with a gust of wind, but all his focus remained on Yu Liuli.
Ning Shu: …
Currently, it looked as if she were the villain.
Yin Tian asked Ning Shu, “How did you reverse the contract?”
Ning Shu shrugged. “I woke up one day, and it just reversed. I became the master, and Yu Liuli became the servant.”
What, tell them how to break the contract, only for them to use it against her?
“You’re being insolent!” Yin Tian roared, and a suffocatingly powerful aura pressed down on Ning Shu.
Ning Shu sneered, unimpressed. He was just a shadow of his former self, putting on airs. His soul was already so weak it was almost nonexistent.
“What, are you going to fight me? Even if I die, I’ll make sure Yu Liuli goes down with me. I can kill her with a single thought.”
Ning Shu remained calm, unfazed by Yin Tian’s oppressive aura.
Yin Tian looked conflicted.
Such pain, such helplessness—this was what it felt like to be a servant.
“You truly are ruthless.”
“And here we go again with calling me ruthless. I’m simply exercising my rights as a master—just like Yu Liuli did to me.”
“She failed to subdue me and I managed to reverse the contract, so whatever I do to her is up to my discretion.”
Ning Shu formed a hand seal, creating a talisman that she sent toward Yin Tian.
Yin Tian tensed as he eyed the talisman— these kinds of things were destructive towards the soul.
He dispersed the talisman, but Ning Shu, unhurried, continued forming hand signs, soon sending out another talisman.
Let’s see how many you can handle.
Yin Tian struggled to keep up. He couldn’t abandon Yu Liuli, but each time he used his power, his soul dimmed further.
Ning Shu, sitting leisurely in her chair, continued forming hand signs. There were soon quite a few talismans surrounding Yin Tian.
Yin Tian’s soul became even dimmer. Not only did it take energy to disperse these talismans, but every time one ended up brushing against his soul, it would immediately diminish a great amount of his energy.
Yin Tian was at his wit’s end. If he continued fighting, his soul would truly dissipate.
Eventually, Yin Tian had no choice but to retreat back into Yu Liuli’s brow.
Ning Shu rolled her eyes. Did he really think his buffing would scare anyone?
Yu Liuli opened her dazed eyes, a flicker of fear flashing through them as she looked at Ning Shu. But her stubborn nature kept her from begging for mercy.
She would rather die than be humiliated.
Ning Shu approached Yu Liuli, who instinctively tried to move her body, but she was too weak to even lift a finger.
Ning Shu took out a pill and shoved it into Yu Liuli’s mouth.
Yu Liuli coughed, trying to spit it out, her eyes filled with horror. “What… what did you make me swallow?”
“A soul-nourishing pill. I know how painful that soul-tearing torment can be, so I’m helping you recover,” Ning Shu replied.
Yu Liuli stared at Ning Shu like she was insane. “What exactly are you trying to do?”
A cool sensation spread through Yu Liuli’s soul. It was indeed a soul-nourishing pill.
“Give up on trying to take advantage of me! So what if I’m your servant now?” Yu Liuli said, propping herself up on her elbows and trying to back away.
Ning Shu: What now?!
Did Yu Liuli think she was trying to start some sort of twisted romance here?
Ning Shu waved her hand dismissively. “I’m just worried your soul will shatter entirely.”
What do you think?
