Chapter 1908: Chapter 1908: People Are Different After All
“Second Elder, this poison is not easy to counter, even concocting a temporary suppressant would be acceptable,” he added another sentence.
“I understand.”
The Second Elder nodded, not so delusional as to overestimate his own awareness.
The real antidote, he estimated, was beyond his ability to create. He could only think of other methods to try and suppress the toxicity for now.
“Ah, I really don’t know what the Valley Master is thinking,” he sighed lightly, feeling that Liao Fusheng must have had his brain caught in a door to still be resistant at this critical juncture.
…
“The poisonous herbs here are certainly plentiful.”
Unlike the Plain Color Herb Garden of Medical Valley, the herb garden here in Poison Valley was much more vibrantly colored.
The ground was strewn with colorful poisonous herbs, seemingly emitting toxic gases that almost overwhelmed them, while the trees alongside were laden with fruits of various hues, all used for making poison.
There were so many poisonous herbs that even An Jiuyue couldn’t help but exclaim in amazement.
“Which poisonous herbs do you need? I’ll go pick them,” Qian Jiyun scanned the vast sea of toxic flora and asked.
“Don’t.”
An Jiuyue was worried he would dart off as soon as he finished talking and hurriedly stopped him.
“I’ll do it myself. Some of these poisonous herbs cannot be picked carelessly; they have a symbiotic relationship with poisonous insects. One small mistake and one could get bitten,” she said.
Moreover, she wasn’t just looking to gather some herbs to concoct an antidote for Madame Yuu; she had a greater deed in mind.
“Wei Na, how many sections of the herb ground are left?” She asked Wei Na.
“There are three sections left for herbs. If we rearranged them a bit, we could squeeze out two more, making it five sections in total,” Wei Na estimated the space for planting medicinal herbs and replied.
Of course, he knew that most of what his master saw were poisonous herbs, and had already planned in his mind to put these five sections together, separate from the other medicinal plants.
“Then reorganize it. We’ll move the herbs later,” An Jiuyue said.
In the hands of people like Liao Fusheng, these herbs would only become weapons for killing, but in hers, they could save many lives.
There really is a difference between people.
“Alright.”
Wei Na responded and began tidying up the herb fields.
His pace was swift, and soon he had five prepared plots, all conveniently situated in the same location.@@novelbin@@
It wasn’t long before Qian Jiyun saw his wife treating someone else’s herb field as her own, excitedly transporting the herbs into her space.
He simply smiled indulgently without saying anything but stood guarding her.
Suddenly, his eyes darkened, and with a flicker, he turned to look towards someone approaching from a distance. He recognized the person; it was the Second Elder of Poison Valley, whom he had just met not long ago.
The Second Elder approached quickly, hastening as soon as he saw someone harvesting herbs.
When he recognized the person picking the herbs, the corners of his mouth uncontrollably started to twitch.
“I have seen the noble one.”
For Qian Jiyun, regardless of whether he was an inter-plane traveler from Huayan Peak or not, he held a mix of respect and fear.
After all, in terms of strength, all the Elders combined were no match for him, not to mention how young the man was. At their age… the thought of his power was unimaginable.
Also, because of his strength, the Second Elder believed that this person was indeed an inter-plane traveler.
“Is there a problem?”
Qian Jiyun merely arched an eyebrow faintly and asked.
What do you think?
