Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 293 Survival (3)

Soon, a woman appeared beside Almond as the clouds conjoined. Her face was concealed by a shadowy veil, but her dark green eyes were very much visible and intimidating. Her long black robes flowed with an eerie grace, blending the aura of an alchemist with the regal power of a witch.

At her waist, a belt of colorful potions swayed, each round vial containing a different color and strange patterns of glimmering liquid. She held a staff in her right hand whose head appeared like a chaotic beast's maw with sharp teeth.

"Master."

Meliora turned to Almond and knelt on one knee.

"You can relax, Maliora." Almond smiled and looked at her stats. 'I can't make any more Spirit Wraiths until I make the class source mine, but I can summon the one already made.'

[Meliora, the Elixir of Chaos]

-Lifeform Rank: Mortal

-Ability Power: —

-Prana Sea: 0

-Soul Sea: 0

-Stats:

— Body Constitution: 330

— Mental Constitution: 354

— Soul Constitution: 0

— Arcane Constitution: 0

'Well…She got Body and Mental constitution this high thanks to Fallen Druid Melameron's spirit, but the other two are empty...can she use the skills she got?'

Meliora got up and stood beside Almond before staring at Malin.

Malin gulped as he looked at Almond and then at the mysterious figure beside him, his eyes darting between the two.

'A summon?!'

"You are coming with me." Almond turned to Malin and smiled. "It's clear that I need to work rather hard if I want to enter the top 10, so you will help me do that in exchange for sparing your life."

"Got it?"

Malin quickly nodded. "I'll help. Basically, I give you the points I earn, right?"

"Exactly. Now, let's go. Time to resume the journey."

However, Almond suddenly felt Meliora's aura turning unstable.

"Urgh…" Meliora grunted in pain, and she suddenly fell.

Black spots started appearing over her, looking terrifying as Almond got a bad feeling about this.

'Quick, boy! Put her away!'

Almond heard Big D's voice and immediately put Meliora into Spirit Pocket. The only thing he could access was Spirit Pocket's spirit storage.

'What happened, Big D? Can you tell me?'

Big D's image suddenly appeared in his mind, wearing round glasses and a stick in his paw.

'Come here with your avatar.'

Almond appeared, and Big D slapped his head with the stick.

'You were about to lose your summon permanently. Your summon is a product of your primary class's mechanism, its source power. It's not something you made yourself, but given by Grimworld Tutorial's system, so her appearance made Erosion hit her.'

Almond felt sad. 'This can't be happening. I want my summons here, safe and sound.'

'Then make the class source yours. I can see that this class is rather special because a mighty being is responsible for its appearance and it is related to your innate talent, Heir of Oblivion.'

Big D looked at Almond with a somber expression, 'Oblivion, the Maw of Forgotten. One of the Mystery Seven.'

Almond's eyes shone. 'Sounds cool.'

'Yeah, but you just hit yourself with an axe. Your Primary class is going to get hit by Erosion sooner rather than later. Boy, hurry up and make it yours, or you will lose that class and everything related to it.'

'What?! How long have I got before it vanishes?' Almond asked, his eyes showing clear panic. 'Fuck, this can't be happening.'

'I don't know. Maybe five days? Ten days? A month? I don't know, but it's going to be soon,' Big D somberly said. 'So well…Good luck.'@@novelbin@@

Almond opened his eyes, and his expression was blank.

"What happened?" Malin asked, confused.

'No, no, no, no, I won't let my primary class get fucking deleted!'

Almond stood up, his fist clenched tightly.

He turned to Malin, his eyes burning intensely.

"W-What?" Malina took a step back, scared by Almond's eyes and current vibe.

"Is there a way to transfer refined Prana from one person to another?"

"Eh? I mean, yeah. I can give Prana to you from my Prana sea," Malin quickly nodded, not willing to antagonize Almond. 'His whole vibe changed. He seems...desperate? Yeah, I shouldn't stress him or he might fucking kill me.'

"Good, your job from now on is simple. You will provide me with Prana and recover it as soon as you can so you can provide the Prana again. Now, let's go. We have a lot of things to do."

Pausing a bit, Almond said as he looked at Malin, "If you know information about monsters or people, tell me."

"There is a powerful monster four kilometers to the north from here. It's a special monster that gives significantly more points, but it's very powerful and needs some seriously good combat power as well as strategy to beat it. Two people died to it in front of me, so I didn't bother challenging it and escaped."

"Good, that's our target. Let's go."

"…"

The duo arrived at the edge of a wide valley and saw a two-headed black bird with sharp and glistering dark red feathers with yellow and black patterns.

It was sleeping under a giant tree, and both of its heads had different colored jewels on their foreheads, one red and one yellow. Find exclusive stories on My Virtual Library Empire

"So that's the one, eh?" Almond narrowed his eyes, using his All-Seeing Eyes to completely scan the monster's structure and gain information.

'From head to tail, it's roughly 40 meters long, but its wings are long, reaching almost 100 meters of wingspan. Let's go deeper...'

Almond scanned its internal source space, soul sea, and such.

'That structure... yeah, it's the beast's bloodline source, but this one has a thread of five stranded structure.. could it be that the potency of one's bloodline is determined by the strands?'

"Twin-Headed Darkin Peakcock has a bloodline with attributes of Darkness and Wind, and it specializes in corrosive and curse abilities from what I observed before I ran, but it definitely got more up its sleeve," Malin said, his expression somber. "I still think we shouldn't challenge it."
