Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel

Chapter 683: Cardinal Zone Deadline

Chiron walked through the grand halls of his system, his gaze lifting toward the endless chandeliers hanging above. The sheer scale of them was something to behold—stretching infinitely, each one a representation of faith, each crystal a symbol of devotion.

He had seen them before, but now there was something different. The fruits had begun to grow.

Some chandeliers bore small, budding crystals, still green and fragile. Others had reached a vibrant yellow, on the verge of ripening. And a select few—those fueled by the most fervent faith—had already begun to deepen into shades of red.

Chiron let out a soft chuckle. This was his faith farm, and soon, it would be time for harvest.

With a final glance, he stepped out of the system, his consciousness returning to reality.

As he opened his eyes, he spoke calmly. "D3."

Immediately, the air behind him rippled as the Precious Land Spirit materialized. The three-headed orc, her presence a mix of ethereal grace and primal power, knelt before him.

"Did you do what I told you?" he asked without turning around.

"Yes, Master," D3 responded. "The time within the cardinal zone is different from the outside world because I willed it that way to better help me against Manu Madayaki’s imprisonment. But at your request, I have increased the time dilation for the first zone. Now, one day in the outside world is equal to six months within. However, this is the highest I can achieve."

Chiron frowned slightly, pressing his fingers against his brow. "Why is that the highest?" He had intended to stretch it further—to make a single day outside equivalent to a full year within the outer zone of the forbidden land. The reason was so that the believers would ripen faster and therefore he plug the fruits much ealier.

D3 lowered her heads slightly. "Because the divine runes shielding this place from the Heavenly Tribulation have already been stretched to their limit."

Chiron’s gaze sharpened.

"These runes were put in place when Manu Madayaki was sealed here," D3 continued. "It has been ten thousand years in the outside world since that happened. The seal was never meant to last forever. It is already weak. And now that Manu is dead, the divine seal is beginning to dissipate on its own."

A silence settled in the air.

The barrier that had hidden this place from the wrath of the heavens was breaking. And when it finally shattered... the heavens would come for what was inside.

Chiron was no foreigner to this. He knew about heaven tribulations and their rule to flatten precious lands in order to regulate the energy their carried with that of the earth.

For the time being, this was something Chiron did not want to happen.

After all, this place was his base. There was also the fact that he needed this cardinal forbidden zone if he wanted to challenge the heavens again for his place as a demi god and then godhood.

Yes! This was the reason he had been so willing to give up the cultivation yesterday he had worked so tirelessly for.

Apart from this cardinal forbidden zone, there were many others. All of whom were of different sins.

According to the novel, his main character had used them against each sin of the Heaven Tribulation and was able to use that power and save the world.

Chiron on the other hand, was much different. He planned to use that power and get godhood.

Meaning that he needed to conquer other cardinal forbidden zones.

But first, a consolidation of his power.

Chiron turned to D3 and asked how long I would take for the divine rune protecting the forbidden zone to end.

She stated clearly that at the rate Chiron was using it, then he had roughly a month of the outside world time.

Chiron’s eyes shone in the realization that it was much sooner than he thought.

Just then, D3’s left head spoke up, "but... if.. if you manage to defend the cardinal zone from the Tribulation, there are benefits to be had, and it will give you at least another six months of teime before the next Tribulation."

Chiron’s attention was drawn to this, "what kind of benefits are we talking? "

"An overall boost of the cardinal forbidden zone. The zone moght also oncrease in rsnk which will in turn have a better chance against the next Tribulation. And if high enough in rank, the zone might be able to eat up other cardinal zones."

Those words were like a bomb to his ears. He had not known that they were such benefits to conquering a heaven Tribulation.

Then again, thinking back to how terrifying the heaven tribulations had been, it was only natural that blessings came after such a disaster.

Even the forest became lush after a fire.

Such was the way of the world.

But Chiron still felt a chill run down his spine at the thought of a heaven’s Tribulation. Even Manu Madayaki had not dared to face one alone and had built his structures, so as to combat it.

It was only fair that he be scared of it. Chiron suddenly realized that he had to rearrange his thoughts and some plans.

But he did not mind this. In fact, it made him smile. Feeling very good about the future, Chiron ordered D3 to send the major clans a few trials like lightning storms and plague to test their faith.

And for the minor tribes, a bit of miracle. After all, he wanted to see a clash of these two forces against one another. He already plane to name it the Faith Wars.

....

Meanwhile, in the outside world, on the streets of the Holy City, the Uncrowned Clown took a stroll with a huge smile on his face.

He had leash on his hand connected to his new puppy.
