Lorraine's face suddenly turned expressionless as she took control of her emotions. "Here is your towel, pervert."

She threw the towel at him and left there in a hurry as Lucian let loose a wild burst of laughter.

After he was done dressing, Lucian sat in the bed with a serious expression on his face as he willed the book Lorraine had given him out of his Interstellar Space.

Lucius didn't know what else to say. The technique was simply too good. If he mastered this technique to the highest level, even demigods might find it hard to find him!

Lucian started reading the book and after 20 minutes, he got the gist of it. He basically has to create negative energy with his mana, create positive energy with his mana and then mix them together to generate a false type of energy wave he can reduce and increase the energy whenever he wished. One needed to be careful when performing this technique as a single mistake can rupture one's meridians, making one unable to use mana again.

The process requires fine control of mana which was something Lucian didn't possess as of yet.

Even his throat exploded when he tried to control his blood with his mana to form blood arrow, injuring the Elite grade Lizardman.

However, who was Lucian? With endless regeneration and vitality, he could poke around with mana in his body for as long as he wished. Even if his veins exploded to pieces, they would regenerate and he would simply learn from his mistake.

Lucian immediately closed his eyes and with his extraordinary focus he dove right into meditation in just 3 seconds.

He could see a network of lines scattered around like scattered web cracks. He could see the blood gushing through his veins and within that blood, an ethereal mist could be seen flowing along side the blood as his heart pumped.

It was mana!

Mana flowed within everyone but each only possess enough mana to help them live. With enough mana, one could achieve extraordinarily feats that no one could believe.

Willing his mind, he slowed his heart and the stream of flowing mana slowed down. Immediately, grabbed the most of mana and tried to control the flow towards another vein in his body.

"Bang!"

Blood spurted out of his forearms as his flesh exploded.

Lucian's face changed slightly. Even the system was mocking him?

Lucian said stubbornly as he continued.

Random booming sounds continued to echo throughout the room.

It was only after thirty minute had passed before a notification bar appeared before him.

At this time, Lucian's entire body was covered in blood. Luckily, he had removed his cloth after the first explosion otherwise Instructor Lorraine might really be angered to death if her clothes were stained with blood.

He went ahead to freshened up once more before heading to the living room.

Lucian stayed in the living and watched TV for a few minutes. Finally he heard some noises coming from Instructor Lorraine's room and when he turned around he saw her walking towards the kitchen.

His eyes flashed as he followed her like a ghost. With heavenly Veil she wasn't able to sense his presence even if she was stronger than him.

Now, he was so close behind her, he towered over her. Instructor Lorraine was looking for something in the fridge and when she spotted him out of the corner of her eye but didn't flinch in the slightest.

Instead of being mad, like Lucian had expected, Instructor Lorraine actually smiled

"I knew you were quite talented but I didn't know it was to this level." she remarked.

"What do you mean?"

"Sneaking up on people playing a ghost," Instructor Lorraine answered playfully as she wandered around the kitchen.

"Haha, very funny," Lucian slumped when he didn't get the reaction he wanted from her.

"Yeah, I actually think I am," she said sincerely. "I was thinking about making pasta for dinner, is that okay with you?"

"Pasta sounds nice, how can I help?" Lucian said but all he was thinking about was something else.

The air eased as Instructor Lorraine got started on cooking, while Lucian set the table. They ate together, and talked for a bit. She told him a bout a black market located somewhere if he wanted to trade for a few things and he told her about her nickname the students called her behind her back. They spoke for a while as Lucian snitched in his fellow students.
