Chapter 40  Evolving Blood Shadow!

The  Titan actually didn't die. It staggered but didn't fall, half its face contorting in rage and pain.

Meanwhile, the Titan Blood Shadow that Lucian had just created charged toward the Twin-Faced Titan, its movements mimicking Lucian's own movement as though it was ingrained in its soul.

The Blood Shadow Titan roared, the sound vibrating through the ground as it crashed into the Twin-faced Titan who didn't see it coming. "Booom!"

The collision was like two massive trains colliding at high speed.

The impact sent both massive creatures staggering backward, their feet creating five meters foot print on the ground with each step. The twin faced Titan, despite its appearance, possessed shocking power. It managed to overpower Lucian's Blood Shadow, snapping one of its arms with a sickening crack that echoed across the battlefield.

The Blood Shadow Titan didn't even flinch. It attacked even more ferociously like a zombie that knows no pain!

The behemoth Titan didn't die even after its skull had shattered. It ignored Baltzer and reached down and tried to grab Lucian!

When the massive fist descended, Lucian attacked , transmitting mana into his spear, he activated the first move of the Nine Revolving Dragon: Dragon's Roar!"

The spear transformed into a coiling serpent of pure energy as Lucian drove it upward along the Titan's arm. The flesh parted like water before a blade, a spiraling groove carving up the limb as the spear climbed higher and higher, trailing blood and steam in its path.

The Behemoth Titan howled, in extreme pain. It tried to swat at Lucian with its other hand, but Baltzer intercepted, the King's Judgement hammer crackling with lightning as it smashed into the approaching limb.

"KRAKA-BOOM!"

Lightning discharged in all directions, paralyzing the massive appendage as Baltzer's hammer crushed bone and pulverized muscle. The limb hung useless at the Titan's side, twitching involuntarily as electricity continued to course through it.

He stomped his feet and flew upwards like a human missile aimed directly at the Behemoth's face.

"Nine Revolving Dragon Spear, Third Move: Coiling Strike!"

The Dragon Soul Devourer blazed with radiance so intense it was like staring into the heart of a sun. Mana poured from Lucian in waves, his veins glowing through his skin as the technique drained him at an alarming rate.

"KA-BOOM!!!!"

A vertical line of pure destructive force tore the Titan's head in two. Lucian controlled the force as he flicked his wrist, his spear splitting downward through its torso like divine judgment. The creature's body separated into perfect halves, steam and blood erupting from the wound like a fountain as it drenched the battlefield.

Lucian landed with steadily on the ground despite the thirty-meter drop, his enhanced physique absorbing the impact that would have shattered a normal human's legs. He glanced at Blood Shadow (I), its body eventually a mess. While the twin-faced Titan was finally dead, the blood shadows arms, legs and half its shoulder had been bitten off. "Regenerate," Lucian suddenly commanded, channeling a portion of his remaining mana into the Blood Shadow.

Its body began to knit itself back together, bones realigning, muscles reattaching, skin reforming over the wounds. Within seconds, the crimson Titan rose to his feet, steadily. Lucian was surprised when he saw the blood shadow took one third of his experience point. Three more Titans converged on Lucian's position. "Baltzer, take the left!" Lucian commanded. The Lizardman King growled in acknowledgment, the Kings Judgement crackling in his hands once more as he charged toward the Titan at the left. Lucian faced the remaining two, his body moving before his mind had fully formed a strategy. The fast Titan reached him first, its elongated legs covering over twenty meters with alarming speed. Its hand swept down like the scythe of a death reaper, the air whistling around its fingers.

Lucian waited until the last possible moment before directly stepping into the attack! The move placed him directly beneath the Titan's palm.

The massive hand slammed into the ground where he had been a split second earlier, while Lucian was already running up the creature's arm, the Dragon Soul Devourer dragging along its flesh, carving a deep furrow that sprayed steaming blood across the battlefield.

He reached the Titan's shoulder in seconds, moving with inhuman agility as he arrived in its neck. Without hesitation, he thrust the spear into the base of its skull, severing the spine in a single strike. The Titan collapsed like a puppet with cut strings, but Lucian was already airborne, flipping backward to avoid the bulbous Titan's grasping hands.

Midair, he spotted his Blood Shadow Titan locked in combat with two other Titans, its movements becoming sluggish as it sustained increasing damage. One arm had been torn off completely, and a massive chunk of its torso had been bitten away.

"Regenerate!" Lucian growled, channeling mana through their blood connection.

The Blood Shadow surged with a crimson glow, its wounds steaming as they regenerated. With a roar, it grabbed one of its attackers by the throat and slammed its head into the ground with enough force to shatter its skull on impact.
