Chapter 21 - 21 21 Dont Believe Luo Ning Would Know

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Don’t Believe Luo Ning Would Know Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Don’t Believe Luo Ning Would Know The trolls immediately set the rhythm, saying Luo Ning was about to start her antics.

This was definitely setting the stage for dragging down the superstar Lu, causing Lu’s fans to doubt whether their previous judgments were even correct.

Soon, everyone saw Luo Ning walk to a corner and then sit down in the yard with a bundle of straw, her pale and slender hands starting to move.

Lu Xun sat beside her, curiously watching her motions.

About ten minutes later, a straw hat gradually took shape in Luo Ning’s hands.

After finishing, Luo Ning handed the freshly made straw hat to Lu Xun, “Mr. Lu, it’s too sunny outside, this straw hat is for you.”

Lu Xun took the straw hat and examined it, finding it very well made; had he not seen Luo Ning make it with his own eyes, he would have thought it was bought from outside.

“Your hands are really skillful; this straw hat is beautifully made.” He put the straw hat on his head, and it fit just right.

Luo Ning chuckled lightly, “I usually like doing handcrafts.”

Then she continued to start making a second straw hat.

It was summer now, and the afternoon sun was scorching, so when she saw the straw, she thought of making two straw hats.

[Wow, Luo Ning’s skills are incredible. She made a straw hat in just twenty minutes, and the style looks pretty good. Awesome.]

[Impressive, Luo Ning even has this craft.]

[My Ningbao is fantastic.]

[Ningbao sitting and weaving straw hats gives off such a peaceful vibe!]

[I want to be the straw in Ningbao’s hands; my Ningbao is so beautiful.]

[Haha, I don’t know who was saying Ningbao would waste time and hold Lu back; now they’ve been proven wrong.]

[It’s so hot outside, wearing a straw hat feels so comfortable; Luo Ning is really thoughtful and considerate.]

[Who said Luo Ning was good for nothing? Whether it’s cooking or this weaving skill, she’s amazing!]

After a while, Luo Ning finished the straw hat and put it on her head.

“Mr. Lu, let’s go collect some ingredients now,” she stood up.

Lu Xun nodded and smiled, “Alright!”

The two leisurely left the courtyard, admiring the pastoral scenery and chatting as they went.

After a while, they encountered Wei Yao and Chai Jing in the field, who were helping to weed.

On the other side, Tong Jia and Su Qinglan were frantically herding a group of ducks.

Upon seeing the straw hats on their heads, Tong Jia couldn’t help but ask, “Where did you get those straw hats? We’re almost sunburnt to death; do you have any more?”

His face was red from the sun, and he was sweating profusely.

Lu Xun replied, “Luo Ning made these herself; she only made two, no more.”

Tong Jia and the others were dumbfounded, looking at the stylish and sun-shielding straw hats on their heads with some disbelief, “What, Luo Ning made these?”

“That’s incredible,” they admired.

Lu Xun chuckled lightly, “So I’ve found a treasure, keep going, we’ll go find the tasks.”

Tong Jia and others watched enviously, “Mr. Lu, that’s outright flaunting!”

If they had known, they would have teamed up with Luo Ning, even at the risk of offending Ji Xinghang.

Lu Xun smirked, “You just realized?”

“Mr. Lu, you’ve picked up tricks from the production team,” they found that Lu wasn’t as difficult to approach as they thought.

“Little Ningning, could you please make me a straw hat too?” Tong Jia looked pitifully at Luo Ning and asked.

[Haha, Tongtong changed his tune so quickly for a straw hat; ‘Little Ningning’ came out super fast.]

[I want to call her Little Ningning too.]

Chai Jing said, “I’d like to request one too.”

Although Wei Yao and Su Qinglan didn’t speak, their gazes also brimmed with the desire to request.

Luo Ning replied with a smile, “Of course, but right now I need to go collect ingredients with Mr. Lu. I’ll make them for you after we complete the task.”

Otherwise, they might run out of time if they delay any longer.

Tong Jia cheered, “That’s great, Little Ningning, you’re the best.”

“We’ll thank Little Ningning in advance,” Wei Yao and the others also chimed in.

“We’re heading out first, see you later,” Luo Ning and the others waved their hands.

“See you later!” Everyone’s impression of Luo Ning improved even more.

Although they couldn’t wear straw hats now, they would definitely be useful tomorrow, so they wouldn’t get too sunburned or turn several shades darker.

Previously, rumors online had painted Luo Ning as a vase, with a bad temper, who would act like a diva and bully the staff.

But now, it seemed that the rumors were completely unreliable; they all found Luo Ning to be quite approachable.

Luo Ning and Lu Xun went looking for tasks and found several physically demanding jobs in the fields, but they did not take any.

Then, at a large farmhouse, they spotted a job.

“Mr. Lu, there’s a job here packaging flowers. Should we give it a try?” she asked, turning her head.

Lu Xun nodded, “We thought alike, let’s try it.”

They knocked on the door and entered; the owner of the house led them to the backyard where people were packaging fresh flowers, and the ground was piled with various kinds.

“These are flowers that need to be shipped by courier. Just package them according to the list and put them in the courier boxes,” the owner, a man in his fifties, explained.

“Got it,” Luo Ning and the others first observed how the others were packaging, and then they started working.

Lu Xun was initially unfamiliar with the process, but he memorized the entire process and gradually looked more proficient, though he still appeared to be a novice.

Luo Ning, on the other hand, quickly got the hang of it. She packaged the flowers quickly and well, not falling short of the experienced workers in the yard.

Seeing her perform, the owner was astonished.

“Young lady, have you done this before?”

While packaging, Luo Ning responded, “No, I haven’t.”

“You’re really impressive then, you’re as good as my experienced workers here. It would take them at least a day or two to do it like you,” the owner complimented.

Luo Ning smiled, “My mom loves gardening, and I’ve helped her before, so maybe that made it easier for me to learn.”

Her memory and manual skills were very strong; she could do it just by watching once.

As the owner had nothing else to do, he pulled up a stool to sit next to her, smiling as he asked, “So you know about flowers too?”

Luo Ning nodded, “A bit.”

Black commented, “What does ‘a bit’ mean? Sounds a bit pretentious.”

The owner, intrigued, asked, “Do you know what types of flowers these are in the yard?”

In the barrage, Black and some trolls felt the opportunity had come.

“Suddenly, it feels like Luo Ning is pretending; she probably didn’t expect the owner to ask such a question.”

“Exactly, there look to be dozens of types of flowers in this yard. I can only recognize a few, and I don’t believe Luo Ning knows them.”

“So when the owner asked, she’s about to be exposed.”

No sooner had they finished doubting her than Luo Ning pointed at the flower she was packaging and said, “This is gardenia.”

“This is tricolor violet,” pointing at the pot in Lu Xun’s hands.

Then she quickly went through and named all the types of flowers on the ground.

The owner was overjoyed, “Young lady, come with me and see if you recognize these as well.”

Being able to recognize all the flowers on the ground showed she truly knew her flowers.
