Chapter 830: Chapter 804 Thorough without Omission
“You better get your ass over there with your bags packed, and if you can’t seal the deal, come back to me head in hand!” Mr. Yuno pointed at Mario Yuno, but Mario’s eyes looked toward Kiara with sadness.
His daughter-in-law had just had such a serious incident, was it really appropriate for him to leave?
Who would take care of his Sophia?
Knowing his son’s temperament and worried that he would seek revenge for Kiara and do something rash, Mr. Yuno assigned Mario a task to go abroad for negotiations.
Mario was reluctant to go, which led to an argument between father and son.
Kiara was overjoyed inside. If he refused such a good opportunity, wouldn’t that mean something was wrong with his head?
She quickly pulled Mario into the bedroom and gave him a “While you go off to battle, I’ll remain safe at home” spiel using sign language, all in the style of emotional comfort soup.
What Kiara meant was that she was okay now, the family would arrange someone to take care of her, and he should focus on his work—a particular sentence she signed moved Mario deeply.
She said that if she caused him to delay his work, she would feel immensely guilty, and if she felt guilty, she wouldn’t be able to recover properly. A true man should aspire to achieve great things, not be hindered by romantic attachments. If she became the cause of his distraction, wouldn’t she be a curse?
Under her potent dose of emotional soup, Mario’s blood boiled with fervor, and he felt even more love for her.
He didn’t care about his career; he just wanted to reassure her. Since she wanted him to go, then he would go.
As soon as Mario left, Kiara started making moves. Elder Brother quickly gathered all the evidence, including the Crazy family’s call records, which led to some findings.
On the night Kiara stayed at the Emery Estate, the Crazy family received a call from Linville that lasted a whopping 15 minutes. Kiara asked Elder Brother to investigate the number—it was a landline, and the name registered to it was familiar to her.
Kiara couldn’t think of any reason she would be transferred to another facility for no good reason, so she had Elder Brother investigate thoroughly, and to their surprise, it led to the Principal!
Kiara recognized the Principal’s name because she had seen him before, so it jumped out at her immediately.
Considering the Principal was from Linville and the Crazy family were from the County Town, it was odd they’d have a 15-minute conversation. What was the connection?
After piecing everything together, Kiara reached a conclusion. The seemingly unrelated individuals must have intersected on the day of the consultation. Recalling the Principal’s strange reaction that day, she figured out the whole story.
Hehe… Was the Principal trying to use her as a pawn for murder?
She believed that if Mario had not gone abroad for work, he would have discovered this soon enough. Knowing Camden’s nature, Kiara guessed he would have fought tooth and nail for her cause. It was a good thing they had sent him away.
Little did the Principal, who thought his plan was flawless, know that it took Kiara less than a day to untangle the affair, and she was silently celebrating at home.
After figuring out what to do, Kiara had Elder Brother secure relations with a private Hospital and then asked the elders of the Yuno family to return home.
With these people out of the way, she could play her game freely and take her revenge against that absurd family.
Mother Yuno had stayed with Kiara for two days and saw that Kiara was truly okay, although a bit hoarse when speaking. She intended to stay a few more days until Mario returned from the International Class, but Kiara pleaded with her, asking Mother Yuno to help with the wedding preparations, claiming she couldn’t leave school and that things would be chaotic if the wedding details weren’t sorted out before the summer when they planned to marry.
Mother Yuno thought about it and agreed it made sense. Seeing Kiara was really fine, she didn’t insist on staying.
As soon as Mother Yuno left, Kiara began rolling around on her bed. Only Isaac was with her now, and seeing Kiara suddenly act this way, he turned pale with fright and was about to call Abigail Nana, who had just left, when Kiara suddenly sat up.
“Don’t call.”
“Mrs. Kiara, you…” Isaac didn’t understand. What was this all about?
“My whole body and head hurt, accompany me to the Hospital,” Kiara blinked; Isaac had been with her for many years and knew right away when she mentioned overall head pain that Mrs. Kiara was faking illness. But why fake an illness to go to the hospital?
What do you think?
