Chapter 258: Chapter 258: Get out, get out, everybody out!

Lucy Graham never expected there would be reporters following her.

But when she saw the adulterous couple tangled up on the bed, fighting over the blankets with their faces covered, she was instantly consumed by rage.

She rushed forward to snatch the blankets off the two of them.

She was thirty-seven, having gone through a failed engagement that left her disillusioned with love. Finally, she met Alfie Thomas. Although he was twelve years younger, he was gentle, considerate, always thinking of her, and even publicly held her hand to declare their relationship at the Wilding Film and Television Awards last year, during a high point in his career.

Many friends warned her not to be fooled by a younger man. The public also doubted their love, but she never questioned Alfie’s sincerity and spared no effort in supporting him.

Alfie had made good accomplishments. Over the past two years, he had gained popularity through a hit movie and was recognized within the industry. As his popularity grew, their time together decreased, increasing Lucy’s anxiety. But she still believed in his love for her. @@novelbin@@

Until today, when she received the news that Alfie had rented a room with another woman.

Originally, she didn’t plan to involve the reporters, but they arrived sooner than she expected.

Though frustrated, having been in the entertainment industry for years, she knew love and hate clearly, recognizing that she could never reconcile with the person in front of her.

But she couldn’t let it go.

Unable to pull the blanket away, Lucy simply grabbed Ruby Green’s hair exposed outside the blanket. “Alfie, if you’re a man, come protect your woman!”

“Ah… Let me go! What Alfie? Clark Stone, you useless bastard! Stop her!” Ruby screamed in pain, one hand still covering her face, but she couldn’t escape the cameras of the reporters.

Although Ruby wasn’t even a third-rate star, her recent popularity made many reporters recognize her face. Seeing her being caught in the act, they took even more frantic photos.

Lucy couldn’t clearly hear Ruby’s shouts, thinking she was calling for Alfie. Already furious and having lost her sanity, she lashed out at Ruby’s face with her diamond-encrusted nails.

Ruby cried out in pain, begging for mercy, “Let me go! You’ve got it wrong! He’s not Alfie! He’s Clark Stone, Clark Stone…”

Intent on scratching the home-wrecker’s young face, Lucy couldn’t hear a word.

Overcome with pain and shame, Ruby stopped caring about Lucy grabbing her hair. She desperately tugged the blanket, exposing the naked Clark Stone.

Click, click…

“You crazy woman! What are you doing?” Clark suddenly without cover, quickly curled up, covering his private parts with one hand and his face with the other, angrily cursing at Ruby.

Lucy, who was still tearing at Ruby’s hair, paused, staring dumbfounded at the uncovered man on the bed. Her angry expression first turned to astonishment, then to embarrassment as she let go of Ruby’s hair. “This… it’s a mistake, a mistake…”

She threw down Ruby and Clark and hurried out, accidentally seeing a well-wrapped man slyly leading a woman away.

Lucy froze. Her initial relief and apology for grabbing the wrong person disappeared, replaced by self-mockery.

So it was true.

But when she thought of going after them again, Lucy suddenly lost her previous frenzy, feeling weak as she looked at the young man’s back.

Inside the room.

The reporters, discovering that the Best Actress’ caught-in-the-act incident was a mistake, didn’t leave disappointed but continued to fanatically take photos of Ruby and Clark.

In shame and anger, Ruby screamed madly, “Get out! Get out! Get out, all of you!”

Hearing the commotion, Mona Wilde, who had intentionally come to watch the spectacle, curled her lips in delight.
