Chapter 328: 328: I Will Show You What Hell Is

Chapter 328: Chapter 328: I Will Show You What Hell Is

Ruby Green did not believe it. “Since you can, why did you act like that in the final exam competition?”

“Why? Haha, you ask me why?” Abigail suddenly laughed involuntarily, carrying a thick taste of sarcasm.

Perhaps because of the original body’s memory, she could clearly feel the original body’s thoughts at that time, and the grievance buried deep in her heart. She slowly approached Ruby Green.

Ruby involuntarily retreated. However, the medicine’s effect on her leg had worn off, making her movements extremely inconvenient. She directly slumped to the ground, looking at Abigail, whose emotions had suddenly changed dramatically, with some unease.

Abigail also squatted down, poking Ruby’s leg with the tip of her handbag. “Don’t you want to know why? Because I was stupid back then, thinking that I could earn my sister’s love, Aunt’s love, and become a family with you. But… people in this world seem to look alike, yet in reality, some are real people, and some…”

At this point, Abigail paused, then suddenly exerted force. “She is a pervert!”

...

“Aah… ah… ah…”

Ruby was involuntarily drawn in by Abigail’s words, just as she was about to retort. Pain suddenly shot through her leg, making her soul tremble. Her screams echoed throughout the bathroom. Her face distorted in pain, she looked at Abigail in horror. “Ah… ah… what did you do to me?!”

“I’m kindly reminding you. If you don’t treat this leg properly, it might truly become useless.” Abigail’s gaze turned cold. “Remember, this game is not over. Tell your mom to be prepared. What you owe me, I will retrieve one by one.”

Ruby clutched her leg, trembling uncontrollably, “You… you…”

“And, didn’t you say I was already dead? That life you owe me has to be repaid.” Abigail gave Ruby a sinister smile after saying this.

Ruby, who was almost fainting from the pain, was jolted back to consciousness by Abigail’s smile. She immediately thought of that night when she and her mother had intended for Johnson to break Abigail’s leg. Yet, inexplicably, it was Johnson who broke their legs instead.

At that time, Abigail had said she was already dead, and Hades pitied her, letting her come back for revenge. Could it be true…

A chill penetrated Ruby’s entire body. She suddenly couldn’t stay there for another moment. “Diana, Diana!”

The door outside was unlocked with a clattering sound, and Diana was about to rush in, “Fat bitch, how dare you…” Ah!”

Yet, the next moment, she was kicked to the ground.

Abigail raised an eyebrow, but before she could speak, her wrist was grabbed. She heard the man’s nervous voice, “Did she touch you? Where are you hurt?”

Earlier, because of Ruby and recollecting the original body’s memories, Abigail felt downcast. As she felt the warmth of the man’s palm, her whole body suddenly warmed up. She stared at the handsome man in a daze. “I… I’m fine.”

Though this man was sometimes capricious, he was occasionally genuinely warm-hearted.

“Hmm.” Brandon Piers glanced coldly at the two people on the ground, lightly hummed, and held Abigail’s hand.

Diana wailed in pain on the ground, and Ruby was not any better off. She looked at Brandon, who was protecting Abigail, with disbelief, as he took her hand.

The pain, coupled with jealousy, made Ruby suddenly shout at Brandon, “Second Young Master, do you know? She has died once. She came back from hell. You won’t have a good outcome being with her!”

Abigail’s body stiffened slightly. She knew Ruby’s words were too bizarre for a normal person to believe. Yet, she still felt a pang of guilt.

Though she hadn’t crawled up from hell, she had truly died and been reborn in this body.

Ruby’s last sentence was too poisonous. Saying that being with her would bring no good outcome; it was meant to plant a thorn in Brandon’s heart.

In aristocratic families, many things are taboo. This was an attempt to mentally destroy her.

Abigail regretted not using more strength earlier, making Ruby lose her voice entirely. That way, she couldn’t say anything else.

While various thoughts clashed in Abigail’s mind, the man holding her hand paused.

On the floor behind them, the slumped Ruby thought Brandon had believed her and a smug smile emerged on her face. “Second Young Master, believe me, I am telling the truth!”

“Oh.” Brandon coolly responded.

Abigail heard this and looked up at the man beside her in a daze.

Then she saw Brandon release her hand, and her heart ached slightly.

Brandon turned around, walked back to Ruby, and looked at the disheveled woman, “Do you know what your most laughable point is?”

Ruby, who thought Brandon believed her, “…”

“Ugly and unaware.”

Abigail, “…”

“Even if she had died once, even if she’s a ghost now, she would still be the woman I am willing to marry.” Brandon suddenly stopped, recalling what the female doctor had said earlier. Because they couldn’t wait for the anesthesiologist, Mrs. Green and Miss Green insisted on a direct C-section. The mother almost went into shock from the pain…

And this woman dared to call her they-called “fat bitch.” She did not crawl out from their hell!

Beside him, Ruby didn’t notice the change in Brandon’s emotions. Her mind was full of disbelief. He said he’d be willing to marry her even if she was a ghost? How is that possible? Is he insane?

Just as she looked incredulous, Brandon suddenly smiled slightly at her, making Ruby stunned. Though this man smiled like a dazzling deity, she felt like she saw Satan’s smile. A huge fear emerged uncontrollably in her heart.

Then she heard Brandon slowly say, “As for whether we will have a good outcome, I don’t know, but… I will let you know what hell truly is.”

Each word from Brandon struck Ruby’s eardrums, echoing in her mind; it finally turned into unspeakable fear that crept into her chest bit by bit.

“Ah!” Ruby couldn’t control herself anymore. Her whole body trembled uncontrollably.

Diana, who had taken a hard kick and was in severe pain, sweating profusely, also shrank fearfully into a corner upon hearing Brandon’s words.

Brandon then turned around, held the stunned Abigail’s hand, and said, “Let’s go home.”

“Okay.” Abigail, entirely bewildered, instinctively followed the man.

This wasn’t what she had expected at all!

She had always known Brandon to be a particularly calculating person, a typical businessman with an old-fashioned family background. She thought he would be most cautious about such things, but she never expected him to say something like this.

Even if she were a ghost, she would still be the woman he chose to marry?

Was this man serious?

Was he serious?

She always believed they got married purely because of Teddy, but today, this man said she was whom he was willing to marry…
