Chapter 421 - 180 Kael, How Arrogant You Are (10K, Please Subscribe)_4
But not even half a second later, the unscathed God-chooser flew out of the pit he’d been smashed into, his face somewhat sullen as he locked eyes with Kael:
"Why..."
Again, three Rangers, each clutching a Whale Hunting Spear, thrust into his massive and fearsome body, causing him to stagger for half a second. Then, with a piercing howl of wind, the Scarlet Dream Blade, swathed in bloody hues, swung down, tearing him apart once more and slamming him back into the pit.
As if he felt no pain, he rose into the air again and repeated his earlier question, "Why..."
Even though Kael had beaten him until his skin cracked and bled, he seemed not to care, appearing more eager to extract that answer from Kael’s lips.
Kael’s back, aching from the saturation of Divine Particles, slowly straightened, his eyes dim and lifeless, while blood slid down his cheeks.
It was a weakness he hadn’t felt since becoming a professional, in every sense of the word, but he still had an unfinished task.
"To strike at you all, where is the need for a why..."
Through the wind came the God-chooser’s angry roar.
"Why do you stop me from killing them? You are clearly a God-chooser too!"
"Why do you even take away my humble wish to live?"
"You are indeed one of the top-tier Humans I have seen, what a pity, at the top humans ultimately... are just humans!" The God-chooser’s sturdy body burst into a sky full of red pulp with each punch and sword strike, yet he was still laughing madly, "You can’t kill me!"
"Hahahaha..." In response to the God-chooser, Kael’s laugh was even more frenzied. He gripped the handle of the Scarlet Dream Blade with one hand, bringing it crashing down in a fierce arc, tracing a chilling light through the air.

"All of you, every single one of you zealots are raving mad. Why can’t you just stand in your rightful places? Wouldn’t that be better?
Instead of having to be taught to respect life until I understand it, until I pulverize your brains... I will not stop!"
With a grunt from Kael, the Divine Particles turned the sword’s shockwave red, a scorching heat wave surged, instantly chopping the God-chooser’s body in two. That stroke of the blade carved a several-meters-wide crevice in the ground, deep into the earth before Kael.
In the roar, the rock layer beneath the soil was struck and slightly lifted the ground surface from below.
Kael felt as if the Scarlet Dream Blade in his hand was roaring, and with it, his body seemed to awaken.
He could feel the changes in various parts of his body reminding him that he could be faster, stronger, and his brain was transmitting to him a belief to hold on a little longer, just a little longer!
He took a deep breath, feeling the strong wind passing through him, entering a state he could hardly describe. Despite half a month without progress, he suddenly felt his boiling strength continue to skyrocket in this shuddering state.
The Spiritual Power that had always obeyed him uncontrollably mixed with hot blood coursing through his veins, merging with the incoming Divine Particles.
Whisps of white mist began to emanate from his body.
He was still getting stronger!
Below in the crevice, the God-chooser’s body, severed in two, saw muscles at the wound undulating, tendrils reattaching to the torn flesh.
Although not adept at physical combat, it didn’t mean his power was weak. His bloated body gradually twisted and lengthened, streams of high-temperature currents erupting from the tears in his flesh, and bone Scythes piercing out of him in various places.
Seizing the opportunity, he wanted to tear apart those Humans and goblins, especially that guy!
Kill him!
Kill him!!
Kill him!!!
A hot mist burst from the cracks in the ground, and amidst the thick smoke, the rising God-chooser suddenly lashed out. Bone Scythes swirling with a vile aura and heat from air friction, driven by immense force, swung towards Kael but stopped, unable to move further before him.
He stared dumbfounded at the Scythe now held between Kael’s fingertips, managing only to scratch the surface of his skin, leaving a mark on his palm, his face filled with disbelief.
Was he that strong just a moment ago?
Kael spat out a mouthful of blood and eyed the "Magic Barrier" he had created with Divine Particles, finding it much more useful than any magic.
He firmly gripped the bone Scythe launched in that lethal strike by the God-chooser, sneering, "So this is the attack of a God-chooser, you are truly... feeble."
Even though he had been avoiding his gaze all along, the God-chooser felt as if Kael was mocking him with his eyes at that moment.
Kael leaned forward slightly, his head moving closer to the God-chooser, who subconsciously recoiled his upper body.
What arrogance this Human has.
"Scarlet Dream Blade... remember well the name of your darling that is going to kill you, then you can die."
The Scythe crumbled between his fingertips; Divine Particles carrying the Magic Power from within his body as if to drain him completely, converging at the tip of the blade. The sword underwent a strange transformation, the entire blade glowing. The King Beast, supposedly impervious to physical strikes, felt the crisis of Death at that moment.
He wanted to struggle, but in the face of Kael’s brutal glare, he felt so insignificantly small.
That man, that monster, brought the sword down, coldly shattering him to pieces.
The surrounding ground underwent violent deformations; the shockwave from the Scarlet Dream Blade blasting him into meaty chunks. After 30 seconds, the scattered remains still failed to come together and resurrect him.
What do you think?
