At that moment, on the other side of the harbor.

The roaring off-road vehicle tore through the night, heading straight for the deep ports overseas.

About half an hour later, Kael sensed the agitated scent in the air, and on the distant shores, there were stranded limbs and remnants on the shallow banks; Blood Flames, unwilling to vanish, surged towards him like a multitude of stars the moment he approached.

...

Those Blood Flames rushed into Kael’s body like moths to a flame, filling him with an unprecedented surge of power.

The next second, his figure vanished from the spot, and in a burst of air, he crossed a hundred meters, clutching the Scarlet Dream Blade in one hand and slashing towards the sunken ship debris in the distant shallow sea.

A terrifying shockwave split the sea surface, carrying a destructive force that raised a huge wave.

From beneath the sea came the roar of a giant beast; the distorted figure of a Divine Being’s remnants was washed above the water’s surface in this shockwave.

"Human..." the Divine Being let out a desperate roar.

His body was connected by cream-colored pipelines resembling earthworms to the seabed, making him look like a toy controlled by Puppet strings.

The pipes, seeming to suckle, pulled up swollen globules from the seabed as if trying to transfuse them into the battered body of the Divine Being.

"Two Divine Beings killed in an explosion, mixed with trash I’ve half killed?

I can kill you once, I can kill you twice, thrice, a hundred times, a thousand times... until you can’t raise your head," Kael said to himself, feeling as though he had returned to the reckless days when he had been a player.

"I don’t care what you’re thinking; all I know is that I’m in a bad mood now, and I want to unleash carnage!" he declared.

The Divine Being was fast.

But Kael was faster, the surging Divine Particles so numerous they couldn’t be counted. He still employed the method of controlling Magic Silk Thread, reaching out his five fingers towards the pipes linked to the shallow sea.

The interwoven Divine Particle threads burst forth, transforming into scissors of Spiritual Power aimed at the Divine Being’s vulnerabilities, severing those flesh connections to the seabed in an instant.

Once again, his bare upper body revealed chitinous blood-veined red gold armor, flickering like Blood Flames upon him.

Kael looked indifferently at the Divine Being and snapped his fingers.

The Divine Particle threads shot out like precise surgical blades, instantly cleaving the Divine Being’s body apart, leaving huge bloody holes from which fluids flowed freely.

Mad with fury, the Divine Being lunged at Kael but was sent crashing into the nearby sands by a side kick, raising a cloud of sand.

He slowly walked to the shoreline, amidst the Divine Being’s roars, attaching each of the flesh pipelines to his Divine Armor.

"Aister, Gluttonous Feast!"

Aister instantly transformed into a girl with white hair floating in slime, her emitted liquid stopping all the flesh pipes in their paths.

The flesh pipes writhed as if brought to life, sucking from the deep sea, pumping strange substances into Aister’s body which then converged inside Kael.

...2 minutes later...

Kael again kicked away the Divine Being’s remnants that pounced at him, saying annoyedly:

"Just as I had guessed before, your goal was not to exterminate the goblins."

"I will kill you, I must kill you..." the Divine Being, dragging his broken body, teleported next to Kael, but before he could retaliate, he saw a cold, smooth drop, like a guillotine falling.

The already damaged upper body was slashed off significantly more.

"Ah~ What a tragedy."

Kael tapped the Divine Being he held by his upper body with a finger, sneering, "What you need isn’t the life of goblins, but what’s in their minds, right?

Whether you kill them or not isn’t important, what matters is getting enough of the goblins’ memories. No wonder the goblin’s demise chose to turn their entire kind into fools akin to monsters.

As long as there’s nothing in their minds, there is no possibility for you to succeed... These guys are really ruthless."

"Return her to me!" shouted another consciousness of a Divine Being, which Kael had not encountered before, seemingly dominating this fused remnants, issuing angry roars.

The broken limbs, firmly clutched by Kael’s Hand Armor, emitted unbearable noises from behind him, four sharp limbs struggling fiercely as though trying to tear through his back.

A thread of Divine Particles swiftly passed through, effortlessly piercing the limbs behind the Divine Being, leaving his already battered body even more powerless, like a kite with broken strings.

"It’s not over yet, Kael, return her to me, give her back…"

In the air, the Scarlet Dream Blade drew an eerie trail of Blood Flames; amid the splattering blood, the Divine Being’s pupils calmed from trembling.

Kael glanced at the armor on his body shimmering with a bloody glow and said indifferently,

"You knew the Divine Being used as material for the Scarlet Dream Blade? Such unexpected, persistent emotions, quite enlightening.

But unfortunately, this is not your story."

He looked up at the sky, post apocalypse, the weather just right.

He smiled and said, "World Mother, reset history’s echo!"
