Reincarnated as Shino from Naruto but I’m a Girl?

The assembled group seems appropriately reverent for the moment.

Clearing my throat, I continue, “Ahem. I’ve obtained all the accessible Kekkei Genkai in our Village’s proximity; don’t expect many more until much later. As cool as acquiring and mastering them all sounds, the reality is that we each have finite time to train, making specialization key. As such, I want you to individually decide your path going forward and select your next insect impregnation from the following list of Templates: Ice Release, Sharingan, Byakugan, Macabre Bone Pulse, Magnet, and Lesser Wood Release.

“As for me, I’ve spent a lot of time contemplating my path. Despite how tempting those options are, sadly, I already have my hands full. While the Aburame clan’s Phosphorus Destruction Insects may be beyond my natural ability, the two Dojutsu I possess should allow me to master the Parasitic Giant Beetles (or kidaichu) with some training.” These special beetles need to be provided the correct amount of chakra on a regular basis to prevent them from going berserk on the host. Being able to see chakra flow (Byakugan) and memorize the proper form of the technique (Sharingan) will let me safely use them earlier in my career compared to Anime-Shino. “Beyond that, I intend to specialize in Amalgamation.”

If I’m able to take my understanding of Amalgamation to the next level, maybe I could ‘hold’ two partners simultaneously! Rather than learn every jutsu myself like Orochimaru, I can rely on my harem to be my hands.

Taking her cue from the Harem ranking, Tenten speaks first among my girls, “I’ve been using Ice Release, and it’s an excellent addition to my current skills. However, imagining my path for growth in that direction leaves me… cold. Luckily, Shino-chan got a new Template that’s right up my alley! I’m going Magnet Release!”

I wholeheartedly approve. As a weapons master, giving Tenten the Magnet Release seems like an obvious move. It’ll grant her a profound edge over the average kunoichi. She doesn’t have to ditch Ice Release, either. Those frosty mirrors will synergize well with the new opportunities that Magnetizing her tools will open up.

“Ah, excuse me, I’ve decided on the Sharingan,” Hinata gives a confident declaration I couldn’t have imagined from her mere months ago that I’m seriously proud of, “After hearing Shino-chan describe how it interacts with the Byakugan, I think I want to explore that further. I see myself as a melee fighter, even if I’m not the best, and the faster reaction time should improve both my offense and evasion. My training will focus on developing my comprehension of the Gentle Fist.”

The Hyuga clan’s signature fighting style really is underappreciated in Shippuden. Any Hyuga ninja is a far step above an average combatant and putting the Sharingan on top of that should quickly catapult Hinata into the upper realm of Chunin strength. She can use it to copy my versions of Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms technique, Revolving Heaven Palm Rotation, and start learning Vacuum Palm or Twin Lions early if she patches things up with her clan.

“Not to be a copycat, but I’m thinking Sharingan as well,” Sakura says, going next. “The Gentle Fist doesn’t pair well with my Macabre Bone Pulse, though I am very curious about the Byakugan’s other advantages. No, I’ll leave that for next time. The strongest me I can think of uses the Sharingan.”

Another smart choice; I was right to leave this in their hands. She didn’t mention it, but I have another reason why I’d like her to go that route. Hmm, maybe it’ll be a surprise?

Anyway, Anko takes her turn. “I already have Fire Release and Snake Hands, so Ice, Magnet, and Wood would be somewhat wasted on me. Bone Pulse can’t affect my summoned snakes, but I can direct their movements, making the Byakugan and learning the basics of the Gentle Fist the fastest way for me to improve.”

I nod in approval.

Everyone turns to face Karin until I clear my throat to retake the floor. “While I value your opinion, Karin-chan, I have a request.” She adjusts her glasses and gazes rapturously into my eyes, eager to receive my intent. “To explain, I’ll start with the fact only Hashirama-sama has ever been able to use the Wood Release. Unlike other Kekkei Genkai, Wood Release didn’t propagate through the Senju bloodline because it seems to be recessive—resulting in a ‘Dormant’ Template. There is a workaround, though.

“I can make a neotenic cicada with Dormant Wood Release, awaken it with the Hashirama-sama cell culture I ‘borrowed’ from Yamato-kun’s blood, and provide it with the Senju-Compatible inheritance factor that will allow it to survive the process. The problem is that Hashirama-sama’s cells are basically aggressive tumors. The man was practically made of cancer. Putting an awakened Wood Release cicada on a normal person would probably just mutate them into a tree.

“However, Karin-chan, you have a naturally high physical energy and healing factor from your Uzumaki lineage unrivaled in the current age. Only you, Yamato-kun, and Kage-level ninjas have the vitality, bloodline, or chakra control to harbor the Wood Release without transforming into a failed Hashirama-clone.”

In the anime, when Danzo grew too weak to regulate it, his wood arm started growing uncontrollably in a giant tree. He had to sever it from himself to prevent being subsumed. I wouldn’t wish that fate on any of my girls, but Karin actually stands a chance. The Uzumaki clan have shared ancestry with the Senju in their progenitor, Otsutsuki Asura—son of the Sage of Six Paths. Of us, she has the most advantages in this department.

The redhead nods emphatically, “I understand, Shino-sama! I would be honored to accept this responsibility!”

From what I remember of Yamato in the Anime, the only difference between the Lesser Wood Release and Hashirama’s technique (besides the orders of magnitude more power the First Hokage possessed) is the ability to suppress Tailed Beasts. Yamato specifically requires the use of Hashirama’s special necklace to boost his ‘Hokage Style Elder Jutsu: Kakuan's Tenth Edict On Enlightenment’ to work on the Nine Tails’ chakra.

Wood Style is definitely a high-tier nature transformation compared to something straightforward like Mud Release, so it’s a little sad I can’t make a fleet of mini-Hashirama ninjas. Oh well, I always say variety is the spice of life! There’re advantages in diversity.

Kin-Kitty proceeds to take her turn. “Being a frontliner isn’t my style, but I don’t have a preference otherwise, nya. If Tenten-chan chooses Magnet Release and Karin-chan is suited for Wood Release, then I shall purrrsue Ice-Release.”

I’m fine with that. Kin’s understanding of Genjutsu is limited to very basic sound manipulation, and her Taijutsu doesn’t extend past throwing senbon. She may as well start from scratch with a new chakra nature and devote herself to that.

“While your selection is tempting,” Ino states after some brooding, “My Yamanaka clan jutsu are well-respected in Konoha for their potency. I should focus on that. The Sharingan sounds stupid-busted, though, and it could help in my training sessions with Dad.”

I agree. She has plenty of room to grow on her current trajectory. The Byakugan works well on anyone because it improves battlefield awareness, but the Sharingan gives you the ability to copy ninjutsu (that you’d already be capable of using) while buffing your clarity and rate of perception.

“If anything,” Ino continues, “I could borrow Tenten’s Ice Leech a few hours a day to start getting a feel for that and take it next round. Like Dad said, the mirrors pair well with my jutsu.”

We all nod in agreement with no objections.

“Hmph, never did go in for those big, flashy ninjutsu,” Tsume says, thinking aloud. “I’m pregnant with Shino-chan’s child but, someday, I’d like to try out that Boner Pulse myself.”

Heh.

“You’re all being very silly.”

“Imomushi-chan!”

My branch-family cousin interrupts us, entering Tsume’s house through the front door unannounced. “Young Mistress Shino-sama, please, come home!” She bows dogeza-style before me placatingly. “I’ve prepared a more suitable dwelling for your harem than this hovel. Also, you have an entire clan of willing wombs to serve as incubators for your projects.”

She’s not wrong. But she’s kind of wrong. “Imomushi-chan, I get where you’re coming from. My problem there is that I’ve already impregnated most of the willing hosts,” (like Imomushi, Auntie Mimizu, Ari, Miu, and Etsuko), “Or their wombs are currently being used for Aburame clan experiments, or they’re hosting Deep Dwellers and can’t get pregnant,” (like Choko-chan), “Bribing or press-ganging anyone left into mass-producing my neotenic insects ain’t my thing. As for coming home… can it wait a bit?”

I’d planned to do that all along, eventually.

Her shoulders slump in defeat, “As you command, Young Mistress Shino-sama.”

It’s not so bad. We have limited time, but not that limited. There are several Anime arcs and gaps of time between now and when things ramp up for the big finale that will allow us to each easily gain all the Kekkei Genkai we can make use of. No rush.

“You already knocked me the fuck up,” Tayuya comments from her seat nearby, “With what-the-hell-ever that thing was.”

Yes, I’m very eager to find out what she produces!

“I’ve often lamented the limitations of my natural abilities,” Kurenai says. “If I understand the order of operations correctly, I need to accept an Amalgam Heart-Ringworm first to avoid medical complications?”

“Well, Danzo-kun brought up a good point earlier,” I interject. “It’s kind of not strictly necessary, and I need to be frugal with how far I stretch myself. However, Kurenai-chan, you mean a lot to us, and I want you to be part of this family. So, yes. Take the Amalgam Template.” In the end, Kurenai is like a mother to Hinata, and hot as heck. I want her in the main harem enough to give out another Amalgam. “Just know you are binding yourself to me for as long as I live, and you won’t survive me long with the Amalgam Heart Ringworm inside you. ‘Till death do us part.’”

“Thank you, Shino-chan,” she says with a bow, “I appreciate the gesture and recognize the significance of this offer. Please allow me to join your household as a wife. May time nurture this affection into a blossoming love.” She raises her head to smile at me before her countenance turns stern. “Next time, though… My so-called ‘genjutsu expertise’ is a shadow of the Eye of Hypnotism that once dominated the field in Konoha. To possess such a power for myself… Perhaps it will allow me to atone for my lapse in judgment.”@@novelbin@@

Hinata glomps onto Kurenai in a reassuring hug.

Taking Kurenai’s hand in mine, I squeeze her palm and say, “I keep saying there’s no atonement necessary but, if you so desire, I can give you the Sharingan.”

“Oh! Oh! Me too! Me too, I want the Sharingan, dattebayo!” Naruko exclaims while bouncing up and down like a hyperactive knucklehead.

“Quiet down, Naruko-chan!” Sakura shouts, bonking the blond on the noggin to shut her up.

A few of us laugh. I won’t name names.

“Ahem, sorry, Naruko-chan, but that’s not going to work.” I apologize for getting her hopes up. No, powering up Naruko won’t be so simple.

“Is this because I’m a Shadow Clone?” she asks.

“Actually, it’s not.” Theoretically, a Shadow Clone army could crank out dozens or hundreds of my Neotenic bugs a month. I’ve already explained how it’s possible to keep them around indefinitely and that they’re physically identical to a human woman, including reproductive organs. And it’s actually been shown in the Anime that Shadow Clones can withstand some pain (perhaps that of childbirth?), even damage if they’re determined to stick around. “There are two issues, both related to your being a Jinchuriki. The first is that the Nine-Tailed fox’s seal weakens to almost nothing when you give birth. The second is your Tailed Beast’s chakra. If Naruto goes berserk, the Nine-Tail’s chakra could burn through your system and fry any body-modification insects connected to you.”

Even Naruto’s one-tailed Demon Fox Cloak harms him to a certain extent; the damage just isn’t noticeable because it boosts his regeneration as well. That regeneration won’t extend to the bugs hanging onto his body or that of any clones who receive the same chakra.

“Okay, yeah, that sounds bad,” Naruko admits with a frown.

The mood around here has soured a little, so I loudly clap my hands to get everyone’s attention. “Enough of that. This should be a party! I’ve got gifts for everyone, and all you have to do is let me cum inside~!”
