Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1486: Silvia

Chapter 1486: Silvia

"You want to talk with the chief?" wondered Silvia, a bit surprised. "And don't call her by her name, Aquarina. You have to be a bit more respectful please..."

"Meh, she's an insane woman that demands insane things! Why should I respect her?" Aquarina shrugged without a care in the world about this village's customs.

"Haahh..." Silvia sighed a bit but followed Aquarina anyways. "She does it because she cares about our growth! And it's not like anybody has ever died anyways, she always come to rescue us if it goes too extreme and heal us."

"Yeah which makes it even creepier, it's like she enjoys it..." Aquarina wondered, rubbing her chin while squinting her eyes. "Suspicious, isn't she?"

"Eh, I don't know if she's suspicious though!" said Silvia. "She's like an aunt to most of the people of the village! But well, you're you at the end Aquarina. Can't do anything to force you to be more respectful..."

"Hahah, just forget that" Aquarina shrugged. "Anyways, we're here..."

The two girls arrived in front of a building carved inside the giant mushroom that protected the village. It had already mummified, and its entire body had become as hard as stone.

The chief, Svana, had carved out the inside a bit and made herself her own house inside of that huge thing, the entrance was roughly thirty meters above the ground too.

"Ah, we have to climb again?" wondered Silvia. "Maybe I should stay here..."

"Nah, come with me!" Aquarina suddenly grabbed Silvia and leaped into the empty air, kicking it and reaching the entrance in a matter of seconds.

"Wooaah! That technique is so amazing! No matter how much I see it, I can't really get enough. Just how do you do it, Aquarina?" wondered Silvia, happily being piggybacked by Aquarina.

"It's easy, I could teach you later," Aquarina smiled. "Alright, can you knock? I have to keep us afloat."

Aquarina was constantly moving her legs, jumping from place to place to keep them afloat. "Okaaay!"

Silvia knocked the door very strongly with her powerful hands. Despite her cute and slightly aloof personality, she was still a strong and muscular girl!

"Knock, knoooock!"

ВААМ! ВААМ! ВААМ!

Her knocking shook the entire house, and then a few seconds later, someone came to open the giant stone door, it was Svana.

"Oh, well! If it isn't our two little troublemakers..." said Svana. "Where's Justicio though?" "That lazy bum is probably still sleeping! Hehe!" giggled Silvia.

Justicio was the other friend Aquarina had made, who was already Silvia's friend, so it was made quite easier to befriend him.

His personality made Aquarina remember Zack a lot, but Justicio was much less prideful and more cheerful, he liked exploring dangerous places and eating weird new things which made him click with Aquarina pretty quickly.

She usually didn't think she would make a new male friend, seeing how she preferred the company of girls instead, of Justicio ended being a pretty chill guy, so she ended growing a bit attached to the boy.

"I see! Oh well, why are you here then?" Svana wondered. "Have you been doing your training well?"

"Came here to ask you about the inheritance trial! Can we get in? This is really annoying!" said Aquarina.

"Ahahaha! I thought you were doing me a little dance! Fine come inside," laughed Svana, walking inside her house.

Aquarina quickly jumped into the house and sighed in relief.

"Just who the hell lives in a house with an entrance thirty meters above the ground?" she sighed. "Ugh. Hey Silvia, get off me!"

"Heheheh, you're strong enough to lift me right?" giggled Silvia. "Hitch me a ride!"

"This brat... Enough!" Aquarina groaned, pushing her aside as she stood back up. "Hahhh... Much better- Ah, this place still looks like a cavern."

"It sure does!" Silvia ran forward without even waiting for Aquarina.

"There she goes..." Aquarina sighed.

She walked through the cold corridors of this huge house inside an ancient, mummified mushroom, and reached a larger hall with a big window.

There were several seats, a huge cold spring with freshwater and fish inside, a kitchen, a large hoven, and also a lot of things everywhere.

There was a whole corner just full of food piled together neatly inside of several wooden storage furniture pieces.

"Welcome to my house!" Svana said. "Come sit down, I've prepared some tea for the three of us."

"Thank you so much chief!" Silvia ran inside and sat down. "Hmm, crackers!"

The girl quickly started snacking on crackers that were over the table before doing anything else, making Aquarina a bit surprised how shameless she gets after telling her to be respectful to the chief.

"She loves being double faced, this brat... But yeah that's just how she usually is anyways," Aquarina thought.

Aquarina called Silvia a "brat" despite Silvia only being roughly one or two months younger than her... but she always saw herself as the much older of the two. In her mind, Silvia was like a fourteen-year-old girl or something.

"So you two want to come to the inheritance trial?" wondered Svana. "Hmm, I wonder, I wonder if you're qualified yet? HMMM..." Svana rubbed her chin.

"Eh?! Me? Wait, I didn't come for that, chief!" said Silvia. "I just came along with Aquarina..."

"Come on Silvia, despite your humble words, you're one of the more talented of our tribe, aren't you?" wondered Svana. "You've already achieved Tier 7 at your age, that's amazing. Also you adapt quickly to most trainings."@@novelbin@@

"Did she do the ten kilometer deep hole full of boulders training though?" Aquarina asked, feeling proud of such a hellish thing.

"Nope, I haven't done that..." Silvia said. "So I guess I'm not qualified to participate- which is fine! I'm not really interested, chief... Nom, nom..."

"Hmm, sometimes not doing that training is enough to be qualified," Svana nodded. "Because surprise! You two have been qualified for a little while now, was this what you

wanted to hear at the end?"

"Yes! I'm qualified!" said Aquarina. "So when do we begin the inheritance?!"

"It should be in around a week from now-"

"I'M QUALIFIED?!"

Silvia lost her mind...

And she looked rather scared.
