REINCARNATION OF THE IMMORTAL KING

BREAKFAST and conversation

At dawn, one of the palace maids gently called out, “Your Highness, it’s time to rise.” Still caught in the haze of a fading dream, young Vlad slowly opened his eyes and looked around as if searching for something lost. “Is everything alright?” he asked softly. Tiara, the maid who woke him each morning, replied with a reassuring smile, “Everything is fine, Your Highness. You merely had a strange dream.”

Moments later, another maid—about Tiara’s age—announced, “Your Highness, your bath is ready.” Despite being only three years old, Vlad was quite independent and, with the help of his maids, made his way to the palace bathroom. After enjoying his bath, he dressed himself in a sleek black robe, donning a silver crown and a robe embroidered with a small dragon on the back—a subtle symbol of his royal lineage.

With his morning routine complete, Vlad ambled to the grand dining hall, where the palace was already alive with the scent of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee. Servants scurried about, arranging a sumptuous feast fit for royalty. At the head of a long, polished table sat King Alexand, resplendent in a silver crown and crimson velvet robes, while Queen Lisa, radiant in her jeweled gown, presided over the meal with grace.

Vlad was the last to join the table. As platters of flaky croissants, golden pancakes drizzled with honey, and bowls of exotic fruits were set before them, conversation flowed freely. Amid laughter and gentle gossip, Vlad listened intently as his parents discussed the governance of their county and the new rules they hoped would benefit their people.

After breakfast, while the rest of the family went about their daily tasks, King Alexand and Queen Lisa retired for a private conversation. Seated on his throne, King Alexand addressed Queen Lisa warmly, “My dearest Lisa, what news do the gardens bring today?”

Gliding gracefully to his side, Queen Lisa curtsied and replied, “My lord, our gardens are in full bloom. The roses are at their most vibrant, and the air is perfumed with the delicate scent of jasmine.”

King Alexand nodded approvingly and added, “Your care makes our gardens flourish, my dear. Have you spoken with the gardeners about the new orchard we planned?”

“Yes, my lord,” she answered affectionately. “The orchard will soon be planted with the finest fruit trees in our kingdom—a living testament to our prosperity and generosity.”

Watching them from a distance, Vlad absorbed every word, admiring both his parents' devotion to their realm and the weight of responsibility their discussions carried. The seeds of duty and leadership were already taking root in his young heart.

Later that evening, after dinner, Vlad retreated to his chambers. There, he pored over books on history and politics, determined to prepare himself for the day he would inherit the responsibilities of the kingdom. When his parents met privately once again, he approached them with humility and earnestness.

“My parents,” he began, bowing respectfully, “I seek your wisdom on governance and leadership. May your experience guide me as I learn to one day lead our kingdom with honor and integrity.”

With pride and gentle encouragement in their eyes, King Alexand and Queen Lisa shared their insights, marking the beginning of a journey of shared wisdom and deep familial bonds—one that would help pave the way for Vlad’s future as a just and compassionate ruler.@@novelbin@@
