Chapter 613 Command Division Center
Despite being granted the status of a Special Trainee and a high clearance level, the Origin Trial still made sure to ensure the difficulty wasn't any less.
Rather than trying to restrict him in every move, it appeared as if the Trial was continuously adjusting itself to maintain the difficulty rate, along with the mysterious problem.
Till now, Xu Feng still hadn't gotten a single clue on how to pass the trial.
There had been some hints here and there, but they weren't enough to form a clear picture of what was required.
'Seems like I need to meet with this patient of mine.' Xu Feng thought to himself, having read the file name. His patient was of the Engineering Division, and held the rank 4, Cole.
Currently, Cole was transferred to an isolated area to prevent others from being infected by him.
The isolated area was located at the basement level of the Battleship, and without a minimum clearance level of 5, as well as permission, one could not enter there.
Once caught in the isolated area without any permission or sufficient clearance level, the culprit would receive a severe warning along with a disciplinary hearing from their Division.
Aera truly gave him a trap to attempt to stump him briefly.
'I don't know if it's Aera or the system. But they are really doing their best to get me into trouble. This kind of halo of causing trouble should be reserved for those brainless protagonists instead.' Xu Feng inwardly exclaimed, exiting the infirmary.
Of course, he could still sense his back being eyed by many, but he couldn't be bothered by them.
Just a few glances or glares weren't enough to warrant him to make a move.
Unless they were brain-dead enough and followed the aggressive trainee action, then Xu Feng wouldn't pay attention to them at all.
Previously, they had the chance to interact with him when he offered it up, but they refused. As for Roy, he might have helped him out a bit, but that was about it.
In his mind, he also suspects Roy to be something else planted deliberately by the system.
'Roy was the first to voice out the condition and effect of the paralyze syringe. It could either be he was really perspective or he knew something.' Xu Feng took a mental note.
Even without Roy's interference, he would have explained the situation and still managed to bait out Harvey's interest.

He merely waited because he thought either Aera or Harvey's assistants would figure it out first, but it appeared that wasn't the case. Neither Aera nor Harvey's assistant had any interest in the ongoing scenes. Sure, they were in the play, but it wasn't significant enough.
Of course, that was just his conjecture so far and without concrete evidence.
Nevertheless, they were all points he needed to take notes of to create an investigation map to find a similar connection and their objective within Battleship Lux.
Sometime later, Xu Feng arrived at the Command Division Center.
The moment he stepped foot inside, there was a long list of lines, with people waiting to be attended to.
"Here's your pass and remember you only have 30 minutes before you must leave!"
"This is your entrance pass. Lose it and you will be fined 10 Source Crystals!"
"This is the wrong division. You're supposed to go to the Logistic Division if you want to talk about resource distribution!"
Numerous voices overwhelmed one or another, effectively immersing the scene as a true Command Division Center that oversees a lot of things.
While the people behind the counter continued to address the problem with others, it was evident that they were quite annoyed and irritated.
'Phew, I can't imagine taking such a job and working 9-5.' Xu Feng shook his head and found a line that had the least number of people. As for trying to cut in line or make a scene to be addressed first, that wasn't even in his mindset.@@novelbin@@
Time quickly went by, and the line shortened by a large margin. At first, Xu Feng thought the process was fast, but it became clear to him it was simply because of the person behind the counter.
"You came here for such a trivial task? Get out!"
"What? You want me to process your deployment that's due in a week? Why don't I deploy you to the vent right now? Scram!"
"Next person!"
Almost everyone that the person behind the counter dealt with was either met with scolding or a displeased tone. However, it was hard to blame them when the people lining up were wasting their time on something trivial.
Shortly after, it was Xu Feng's time, and he finally got a clear look at the person behind the counter.
Given it was an Interstellar Era, every person behind the counter was concealed from others. Unless they physically stood in the respective spot, they wouldn't be able to see them, only their voice.
And taking a single glance, it was a young woman— just extremely grumpy and moody.
Meanwhile, the young woman also narrowed her eyes, clearly surprised by Xu Feng's appearance. It wasn't the face she was paying attention to, but the uniform which clearly meant for Trainee.
However, the shiny medal that was attached to Xu Feng's right chest meant he got a decent clearance level. At that moment, she was confused and even wondered if this was a thief.
The young woman noticed the name tag and asked, "Are you a Trainee, Michael?"
"Yes, Miss Faye." Xu Feng nodded and proceeded to explain his circumstances straightforwardly.
"You're gutsy." The young woman, otherwise known as Faye, was impressed by his action. Naturally, she also verified the information before speaking.
"I'm also surprised you knew to come to the Command Division Center for the permit. Most Trainees like you tend to overlook the administration process and land themselves in trouble." She continued, swiftly approving his application, and handed him a permit slip.
Accepting the permit slip, Xu Feng bowed slightly and thanked Faye for her work.
What do you think?
