As soon as Tess relayed the news that there was a man claiming to be from the Vanguard Guild, Sylvan's brows knitted. 

"Are you sure they're from the Vanguard Guild?" Sylvan asked suspiciously. It was hard not to be suspicious that the other party could have been a reporter lying about their identity. 

"Yes, they had a smartwatch on them that was connected to the Divine World. ID cannot be faked, and it was confirmed that they are Cool Wind." Tess explained fluently. 

ID was certainly unable to be faked unless it was an item from the Divine World that enabled the change. Of course, such an item should have been said to be impossible to obtain and Tess wouldn't have a clue about it.

Meanwhile, Sylvan was silent for a moment. 

He had wanted to set up a meeting to resolve the matter, but the opposition came to his doorstep first. It was never good to take the initiative unless they held a card capable of winning.

"Send them up here. I want to see what kind of elderly man I'm going to be dealing with." Sylvan exhaled softly and commanded. 

He was intrigued as to what kind of sly old man he would be dealing with. So long as it was reasonable, Sylvan wouldn't mind paying a little money to stop the bleeding.
