Chapter 157: Chapter 157: He Pulled Her into the Bathroom (New)

The Bentley drove out of the city area.

The closer it got to Mount Wan Chong, the more deserted and quiet it became.

Lu Zhou couldn’t help but sigh, “It’s really pitiable for a lady to live here all alone!”

Even he, a grown man, would feel a bit frightened living in such a place, let alone a woman!

“Not only pitiable, but also lonely, isolated, and insecure.”

Gu Siting asked, “Has she bought you over?”

...

Lu Zhou quickly shook his head, “I’m just expressing my feelings.”

“You’ve been quite sentimental recently.”

Lu Zhou’s goosebumps rose, “…” He decided it was better to keep quiet!

When they reached the entrance of the small courtyard, Lu Zhou parked the car steady.

The gate of the courtyard was not closed tightly, and they could faintly make out colorful lights inside and earsplitting rock music.

Not only that, but there also seemed to be the sounds of men and women having a blast.

After getting out of the car, Gu Siting looked at Lu Zhou, a trace of cold mockery in his deep eyes, “Is this the quiet, lonely, desolate place without a sense of security you were talking about?”

In his view, the raucous excitement inside was no less than that of a downtown bar!

Faintly, they could also hear a man shouting loudly, “Sister Yao, you’ve got to share the love! You danced with Leizi; now you have to dance with me. Come on, let’s get wild!”

Lu Zhou wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

He never expected the small courtyard to be like this.

He dared not look inside any longer, and even less dared to check Fourth Master’s expression!

It seemed the wife was not living as miserably as he had imagined!

Lu Zhou coughed to ease the deathly stillness in the air, “Fourth Master, should I call the wife first?”

Gu Siting’s lips were pressed thin and cold, and with a long, lean hand, he pushed open the gate of the courtyard.

He strode inside.

In the courtyard, a group of men and women were dancing together.

In the center of the circle was a woman wearing a black spaghetti-strap dress with a glowing cat-ear headband on her head.

The spaghetti-strap dress accentuated her voluptuous and graceful figure, and her bright and icy face was alight with dazzling smiles.

Her limbs moved flexibly, dancing with a lot of passion with a young Young Master in front of her.

Gu Siting’s dark, narrow eyes narrowed slightly.

After leaving Imperial Garden, it seemed she was doing even better, happier!

In front of him, she had never laughed so unrestrainedly.

Gu Siting walked to a camphor tree in the courtyard below and took out a cigarette and a lighter from his pocket.

He bent his head slightly, lighting the cigarette.

The pale blue flame flared up, casting light on his chiseled, handsome face, making his profile look even more refined and imposing, and emanating a hint of danger.

Somebody was the first to notice him.

“Wow! There’s a super hot guy over there!” a woman who had drunk too much exclaimed.

The woman wanted to approach and strike up a conversation, but the man leaning against the tree smoking a cigarette was too cold and noble, exuding an aura that kept people at bay.

A pale blue smoke haze enveloped him, whiffs of dark aura emanating from his bones, he took a puff of the cigarette, then slowly exhaled. His pitch-dark eyes that could not be penetrated by any light slowly turned towards the woman in the center of the circle.

Jing Hang also saw Gu Siting.

He was startled at first, but then he quickly realized what was happening and hurriedly tapped Ming Yao, who was energetically dancing with Shen Haojie.

Ming Yao, who had had a few glasses of wine, had a light flush on her radiant face, like rouge had been applied, or like a red rose blooming unrestrained.

As the wine’s effects kicked in, she thought that since she couldn’t sleep anyway, she might as well enjoy herself and release all her emotions.

Startled by Jing Hang’s tap, Ming Yao turned to look at him, “What?”

Jing Hang tilted his chin up and pointed towards where Gu Siting was standing, “Look over there!”

Ming Yao looked toward the camphor tree.

Seeing a man whose deep and mysterious outline was accentuated by the smoke, with a cigarette between his fingers, her heart suddenly skipped a beat.

Their gazes met through the crowd of people.

The man slowly exhaled a puff of smoke, his thin lips curling into a cold, dangerous smile.

Noticing her gaze, he narrowed his eyes slightly. His expression was unchanged, making it impossible to guess what was going on in his mind.

Some young masters recognized Gu Siting.

“Fourth… Fourth Master?”

Although Gu Siting was only twenty-six that year, just a few years older than these young masters, he was a man of achievement, with the means and ability!

In Li City, the young masters all regarded him as a boss, and who would dare act up in front of the boss!

The young masters didn’t know about Ming Yao’s relationship with Gu Siting and assumed he was invited by Jing Hang.

“Jing, you’re amazing, even getting Fourth Master to come!”

One by one, the young masters stepped forward and greeted Gu Siting of their own accord.

Their attitudes were like juniors before their seniors, far from any hooliganism; they were all careful and respectfully behaved.

Gu Siting lifted his hand slightly, “Don’t mind me; just go on with your fun.”

Despite his words, the young masters didn’t dare to play rock music anymore, lest they disturb the indifferent and noble Fourth Master.

The band in the yard started playing a melodious and soothing tune.

The young masters also settled for just drinking and chatting.

The atmosphere had completely changed from when Gu Siting had first arrived.

Ming Yao clicked her tongue.

The deterrent power of Tyrant Gu truly was strong!

These assertive young masters turned into grandsons in a second.

Jing Hang bumped Ming Yao’s arm, “Aren’t you going to talk to your husband? It’s the third night already; you need to sleep!”

Ming Yao snorted haughtily, “Who wants to deal with him?”

Little Snowball had returned to her side, giving her newfound confidence.

“I’m going to the restroom.”

Ming Yao didn’t even glance at Gu Siting as she walked toward the restroom.

When she came out, she immediately felt a sharp and piercing gaze on her.

Ming Yao looked up and saw the man leaning against the wall by the restroom door.

He casually had one hand in his pocket and the other holding the unfinished cigarette, skillfully puffing smoke rings.

One of his long legs stretched across the hallway, taking up most of the space. If Ming Yao wanted to leave, she would have to step over it.

Ming Yao didn’t intend to speak to him; she planned to just step over.

But before she could lift her leg, her slender wrist was firmly grasped by the man.

He dominantly and forcefully pulled her into the restroom.

Before she could react, Ming Yao was already pinned by the man against the inside of the restroom door.

The man’s tall figure loomed over her like an encroaching net.

Ming Yao’s delicate spine was forced against the door frame.

Her lower back hit the door handle, causing her to wince in pain. Her hands, annoyed, pressed against the man’s chest, attempting to push him away.

But the man was immovable like a mountain. He snuffed out the cigarette and threw it into the trash can. His large hand rested on one side of her waist, while his other hand boxed her in at the top of her head, trapping her between the door panel and his chest.

He tilted his head down slightly to look at her; his crisp breath, with a faint tobacco scent, scattered across her delicate skin.

A scent that left her infatuated and craving more.

For a moment, she wanted to throw herself into his arms without any pride, desperately inhaling his scent.
