Chapter 1: A New Beginning

It has been already 13 months the Empress has been pregnant. The Emperor is extemely anxious about her. Now the Emperor, Xue Taixu is anxious about her condituon for the past three days. The Empress's condition has deteriorated even further. The empress's father, Ming Piran has arrived lately for sseing his daughter's condition. He is the emperor of the Ming Dynasty and also the friend of the late emperor of the Xue Dynasty, Xue Huang, Xue Taixu's father. Both Xue Taixu and Ming Piran are extremely tensed. The incoming war and now the empress's severe post-pregnancy ailment are making them really anxious and tensed. Suddenly, cries of a baby is heard!
"What! Am I already a prince! Who are they? Their attire, their attitude, everything of theirs seem royalty! Don't say that I will be getting my plot-armour too after two lifetimes!"
"What should be his name, Qianru?" asked Xue Taixu to Ming Qianru.
"Well, how about Xue Wangming?" suggested Ming Piran to both of them.
