Ch 71: Progress [2]
As the door of the room opened, Emmy walked in and looked straight at where Rey was sleeping, his face peeking out from the blanket. She breathed a sigh of relief and quietly approached his drawer, carefully searching for something.
She took special measures to avoid waking him up, but little did she know that her brother, whom she thought was sleeping soundly, was watching her every move.
His eyes were narrowed into slits as he spied on her, curious about what she was doing so early in the morning.
After searching for some time, she found what she was eagerly looking for – a pouch. She opened it and found the item she needed inside.
Smiling slightly, she closed the drawer and quietly left the room, carefully closing the door behind her.
Only after confirming that she was gone did Rey sit up from the bed with a confused expression.
"What was she doing this early in the morning, and why did she come here to take my painting colors? She didn't even tell us that she had some color work at school today. I could have bought her own colors to use, but borrowing them in such a... no, special way is wrong. Maybe I should talk to her," he said, just as he was about to go to her room when Aiden appeared in front of him.
"Where are you going right now, kid?"
"To my sister's room, can't you see such a simple thing?"
"Yes, I can see, but will you her? That you were awake and just woke up in your tracksuit to catch her with the sketches?"
"No, but I should go and ask her why she did that."
"Hahh~~~! Kid, there are some things that should happen for small goods, and I don't think what happened just now was bad. Maybe the outcome you get will make you very happy later on."
"What the hell are you saying? Like those fools who claim to know everything."
"Just shut up and don't bother with what's happening right now."
"Bu..."
Before he could say more, Aiden sealed lips with his ability, controlling and closing his mouth for a while, he with his mouth closed, was cursing him the whole time he couldn't even shout now since Jasmine might hear it as she was working the lower floor.
After Rey's anger cooled, Aiden stopped the ability.
Rey, who wished to remember Aiden's whole family for the purpose of something, didn't start the argument, thinking he might shut his mouth once more.
He then dejectedly opened the screen which he was about to open before Emmy came inside.

His stats also increased quite a bit, but when he asked Aiden and Victor about, their response was not vocal but facial, as if they had seen something very disgusting.
Aiden then told him that his way of training was something only mortals did, and it wasn't enough to raise his stats much further. His body needed to resist about five to ten times more resistance to get the expected boost.
For example, running with a few hundred kilograms of weight for about ten to twenty kilometers, or doing push-ups with a car-sized weight on his back. These were just basics for them, but no told him that this mortal kid wasn't ready to face them.
His way of training was what he thought suitable, but they were right as he didn't know his current limits for sure.
During this period, his other third and final part of training and progress was much more important.
This was the only basic training that could help him later on in his future, as it was the only thing that could help him surpass others.
No, I'm not talking about studying for his final exam, but about the abilities he for control and manipulation. These were something he should prepare for later times, as they are the most powerful and best way to fight later on.
And even Rey studied for a few hours during this period to show his mother that he was preparing for the exam. {But I will not suggest you do this. — From Author}
His control over his three manipulative abilities — <Matter Manipulation>, <Blood Manipulation>, and <Telekinesis> — was exceptional. All three were of God rank, with varying degrees of strength, but even one could make him a formidable force on the battlefield.
His training in these abilities was closely supervised by specific instructors. For <Matter Manipulation>, Zero was his primary mentor, and possibly the only one who guided him. Others did not engage, as it was his best lesson. He learned how to repair and manipulate matter to its limit, though his control still had flaws it had significantly improved.
Zero once asked to retrieve and present an item he had repaired. She effortlessly destroyed it, explaining that while the cracks appeared filled and the surface looked good, the internal structure not properly repaired.
He was good in surface manipulation but lacked control over internal matter.
Zero demonstrated by repairing a large broken spear in milliseconds, turning the broken area into a liquid state that seamlessly fused together. When he attempted the same, it took him over five minutes, and the result was still inferior.
The difference in their abilities stark, as a mere flick from him could destroy the spear again, while her spear remained intact even after rigorous training.@@novelbin@@
Afterward, she instructed him to focus on the internal rather the external, which was merely a cover for the real damage.
He managed to create a few spears to, but only about thirty forty percent as effective as her.
This was for one ability and in another, was much worser.
In ability control training of <Telekinesis>, he was taught by Aiden, who was the first relic he acquired and the Body-owner of his brain area, while Victor was the owner of his lower body area, and Zero was the total sovereign of the outer area and a little of the outer mass.
In this, he was confident he would receive positive, but reality was different. In his dream, he managed control his dagger to Jacob, this time he could not budge an object of the same weight.
Aiden told him it just a fluke he managed in that dangerous situation, and he was unaware of the true of Telekinesis.
Aiden explained that Telekinesis is an ability in which the user employs mental powers to lev and control objects through mere and mental energy. He further told that if he could gain sufficient knowledge and proficiency in this ability, he could unlock a power or physique known as <Telekinetic Sovereign Physique>, a rare physique his previous owner attained upon reaching a certain in Rank 7. But its requirement are different for this acquiring for individual.
This physique significantly enhances mental powers and fortitude, making the possessor unrivaled in that realm of power.
His training began with trying to control a small match and progressed he became proficient in and manipulating objects.
His control advanced to the point where he could even cause his bed to tremble to some extent in one attempt, he managed lift it a few centimeters, but this was his biggest mistake as his brain started to feel like it was ripping from the middle and got unconscious.
After waking up, Aiden informed him that he had exceeded the current limit and received a penalty for it.
His bed was the five-kilogram limit and attempting lift it his ability was a bad decision. However, it became a great help in controlling the limit of lighter items more easily afterward.
Upon reaching the limit, they began training with numbers.
Initially, Rey was only able to control one item, but Aiden started to him control two items. As Rey gained some proficiency, the difficulty increased by another item.
So far, he has only been able to control seven items at the same time, while the eighth item remains out of reach due to the weight limit. He was training with seven daggers, which he repaired with the help of Zero training.
The weight limit also became a limiting factor in numbers. He could manage to control about twenty small sticks of matches easily, and the numbers were increasing.
The final ability training, and the worst he could do, involved <Blood Manipulation>.
In which he could achieve in terms of remarks was...
