Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 280 Magic Bartender

Aaron squinted, not knowing what Gordon meant. He probably thought that Gordon would take him to one of the inns, where he could give Aaron a discounted price.

Even without the discount Aaron could still pay in full, his adventure from the 81st floor to the 91st was enough to make him a lot of money. That made Aaron not object to money at all.

Gordon and Aaron flew away from the city government office, flying at a slow speed in the city sky towards his main bar. It was quite a surprise to Aaron.

"I thought you were going to take me to one of the inns," Aaron said.

"Why go to an inn when you have the option to stay for free?" asked Gordon.

Just as Gordon was about to enter, his steps stopped when Aaron stopped him. That was enough to make Gordon confused.

"What's wrong?"

"Listen. I thank you for letting me stay in your bar. However, there's a woman there. I can't live in the same house with another woman," Aaron replied.

"Oh, have you met my daughter? Don't worry. I trust you. You won't do anything to her, right?" asked Gordon, leaving Aaron in shock.

"Of course not. I already have a girlfriend."

"That's good," Gordon responded.

He opened the bar door and stepped inside, greeted by greetings from other patrons, including Allina. Allina came up to Gordon, asking why her father had come to the bar.

"Have you met my friend?" asked Gordon, gesturing towards Aaron.

Allina turned her head, then nodded. The two met this afternoon at the bar, when Aaron ordered the best drink in the place. Gordon was glad they knew each other.

"He's the one who beat Oliver. Now, that jerk won't bother you anymore," Gordon replied.

"Woah! Really? How did you do that? Even my dad had a hard time beating him," Allina said, amazed.

Aaron just smiled. It was impossible for him to tell what the flow of the fight was like. However, what was certain was that he was much stronger than Gordon.

"Don't ask that, he probably has certain secrets about his strength that people don't want to know," said Gordon.

"Gordon is right, Miss Allina. I can't tell you exactly how I defeated him," Aaron explained.

"Most importantly, he's dead and won't bother you anymore."

"Thank you, Aaron," Allina said, bowing her head in respect.

Aaron nodded. It didn't matter to him at all. He looked ahead, Gordon was about to show him the empty room he used to live in.

However, Gordon now lived in the city government office, with a spacious room and a more comfortable bed.

Gordon explained to Allina that Aaron would be staying with him in this bar. Aaron initially refused, but Allina again insisted that Aaron could stay, thinking it was Allina's way of repaying Aaron's kindness.

After being pressured by two people, Aaron finally agreed to their proposal. Aaron stepped upstairs to follow where Gordon went, while Allina focused downstairs serving the bar guests.

The door to the room opened, revealing an empty room full of dust, but it seemed that the mattress and other furniture were available and not old —still usable.

"It may not be as nice as an inn room, but it's free. You can stay as long as you want, Aaron," Gordon said.

Aaron nodded in understanding, thanking Gordon even though Aaron didn't like this idea. Gordon didn't mind, he was just happy that he could help Aaron with the current situation.

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell Allina. She can help you," Gordon said, saying goodbye.

"Okay. Thank you very much," Aaron replied.

Gordon walked down the stairs and out of the bar. He flew slowly from that place back to the city government office.

In the room, Aaron used his magic to clean the dust, cobwebs, and so on to make the room feel comfortable for Aaron to live in.

It didn't take long for Aaron to be able to complete his homework with the help of magic. Aaron smiled, his room looked much better than before.

"Alright. I think it's time for me to rest," Aaron replied.

Time went on, the sun turned into the moon, a sign that night had fallen. Aaron stepped down the stairs and saw that there were far more bar patrons at night than during the day.

Allina looked overwhelmed when she had to serve several customers. Aaron took the initiative to go behind the bar counter and help Allina serve the customers.

"Can you do it?" asked Allina, surprised.

"Sure. I can do it," Aaron replied.

He began to mix the drinks according to what the customers wanted. At first Aaron was confused because the drinks in this place were much different from the drinks on the 25th floor. However, after Allina told him the types of drinks, Aaron's work increased rapidly.

Not only men, but also many female visitors came. Gossip circulated among them, saying that they met a handsome man at Gordon's bar, a handsome male bartender.

Aaron smiled, serving them drinks or making transactions. This was the first time for Aaron to work conventionally inside the Dark Pillar Tower, before he was always busy with monster raids.

The bar closed at nine o'clock in the evening, the patrons slowly stepped out of the place. Allina came to check the transactions.@@novelbin@@

She was surprised to see that the number of visitors had increased drastically from yesterday.

"There were 120 visitors today, whereas yesterday there were only 67," Allina replied.

"That's probably because we're working well together. What do you think?" asked Aaron, taking off his bar apron.

Allina counted the amount of money earned, much more than before. Allina could tell that Aaron's presence attracted a lot of attention from the other patrons, especially the women.

"Thank you for helping me," Allina replied, bowing her head several times.

"No problem. I've been staying at your house, it's something I have to do to help you as a homeowner," Aaron replied.

"I'll help you tomorrow. So, let's work together again, Miss Allina," Aaron replied.

Allina smiled, both cheeks flushed red with rounded pupils staring at Aaron. At that very moment, Allina began to like Aaron's personality.

"Sure."
