Chapter 301: End of Team Tournament
***
Five days later.
Elsa's residence.
The cellar door opened, Elsa stepped in accompanied by her aide, Grace. Inside the cellar, there was a large glass sphere containing magical energy that was usually used for research methods.
However, Elsa decided to use the glass ball to restore Aaron's condition. Currently, Aaron's body is floating in the glass ball of energy, swaying from the impact of fluctuating magic energy.
"How is he?" Elsa asked the head of the Sky Sword medical team.
The man turned, smiled, and walked over to Elsa. The man said with certainty that there were no signs that Aaron would wake up.
He also continued that the essence of his magic energy was completely drained and it would take time and a large amount of magic energy to make him recover.
"Is it related to him restoring my elemental essence?" asked Elsa.
"There is a possibility, especially since Miss Elsa is in the Integrity Knight tier and her element is different from yours," replied the man.
"I had expected it. At that moment, she was forcing herself to continue healing you, Miss Elsa," Grace replied.
Elsa fell silent, then stepped closer to the glass ball with her attentive eyes fixed on Aaron, the person who had saved her.
As a form of gratitude to Aaron, Elsa will protect the man from the pursuit of the three main groups. Initially, only the Night Liberators were chasing Aaron. However, there are now three main groups because of Aaron's involvement against the three presidents.
"Don't let anyone know he's here. Of all the places in Noah City, only my residence is a safe place for him," replied Elsa.
"Yes, Miss Elsa," said Grace and the head of the medical team, together.
Elsa stretched her arms forward, her palms touching the wall of the glass sphere, her sad eyes fixed on Aaron, who was still floating unconscious.
"You should have used your last strength to go upstairs and recover. Why did you waste it to help me recover?" asked Elsa, annoyed and sad.
Grace stepped closer to Elsa, whispering something about the delayed final match. Elsa nodded. Since yesterday's fight between Aaron and the three presidents, the final match had to be postponed for five days.
This was to adjust the recovery of the three main presidents, especially Killian, who needed three days to wake up from his fainting spell.
After the three presidents fully recovered, the committee resumed the delayed final match between Sky Sword and Dimension Justice.
However, because one of the members of Dimension Justice died because Aaron killed him, Dimension Justice had the right to replace him with someone else, on the condition that he had to be in the same mage tier as the previous member.
Alfredo nodded, he had a myriad of members to replace his deceased member. It was indeed unfortunate that the man died, considering he was the best of his generation.
But what could he do, he couldn't stop Aaron. Alfredo also never knew why Aaron killed the man.
Elsa nodded. She left accompanied by Grace, leaving the basement area, leaving the head of the medical team and several of his staff who were working to check Aaron's condition.
Three hours passed, the match between the Sky Sword and Dimension Justice teams in the team tournament final was fierce.
Security was tightened to prevent any new threats from emerging. Each spectator had to have their personal belongings and identity checked, and the arena was fitted with protective barriers to prevent outside attacks.
The three presidents came and watched the match. It wasn't as exciting as yesterday, but it was still lively for those who watched it. Luckily for the Sky Sword team, the delay meant that Emily had fully recovered.
In the end, after two hours of fierce competition, the final battle ended with Sky Sword's victory over the Dimension Justice team. Eloise and Emily rejoiced, happy that their tiredness was completely paid off.
Alfredo did not hold any resentment; after all, he already knew that his team's abilities had diminished since the death of its core members. However, in terms of teamwork and quality of ability, the Sky Sword team deserved to win.
"Congratulations to you, Miss Elsa. You and Sky Sword deserve it," said Alfredo, smiling as he welcomed Sky Sword's victory.
"Thank you, Mr. Alfredo. The Dimension Justice team also showed extraordinary ability," said Elsa.
"Lucky for us, that bastard is no longer coming to mess around," complained Killian, still sitting in his chair.
Elsa and Alfredo reflexively turned to the side, staring at Killian, who had just recovered from fainting and had not fully regained his strength. If Aaron attacked again today, Killian would not be able to fight him to the fullest.
"Aaron's strength is indeed unusual. He must be endowed with special talents that we don't have," explained Alfredo.
"That's right. Especially his purple darkness element, it is denser in magical energy and stronger than the light element," Elsa replied.
Killian finally got up from his seat, stepping closer to Elsa and Alfredo because he felt the three of them getting closer to the impact of yesterday's incident.
"We can't keep being in the Integrity Knight mage tier. We have to go upstairs and catch up with him quickly," replied Killian.
Alfredo nodded, he stepped forward close to the grandstand railing, his attention focused on the arena below, watching the prize-giving procession.
"After this big tournament is over, we will go back to doing our job," explained Alfredo.
"We have to catch up to Aaron, no matter what. We can't be seen as weak in front of everyone!" said Alfredo, turning around.
"Collect high-level EXP elixirs from all the group branches on each floor. If that's the only way to level up quickly with our power, then we have to do it," explained Alfredo.
"It looks like they're not messing around to catch Aaron. I have to tell him, but when will he wake up?" asked Elsa.
"Do you guys mind?" asked Alfredo.
Elsa and Killian shook their heads, they understood what Alfredo was saying, "Of course not. We'll do exactly what you say."
What do you think?
