He had only ever felt such a presence before the mightiest of Weird Demons.

However, Zhuang Ying didn’t even look at him; he turned and addressed Tian Chunyan and the rest: “Your performance has been somewhat satisfactory to us. Since that’s the case, we shall entrust the management of this city to you all for the time being.”

“What…” Tian Chunyan and the others seemed incredulous.

What did it mean to entrust the city to their management?

Only the Marshal seemed to grasp something, his gaze filled with immense fear.

“What are you babbling about? You have no idea how much power the Inner City actually holds…”
