The grilled fish was a specialty of the restaurant. After grilling, it was covered with broth and then cooked over charcoal fire. The deliciousness of the fish combined with the tasty broth provided a very good taste and made it quite appetizing.

Xiao Han hadn’t eaten lunch and had only consumed a bowl of porridge in the morning. So, as soon as the food arrived, he began to devour his meal noisily.

“Sister, let me take you home!” Xiao Han smiled.

“No need.” Li Xiaoya shook her head and said, “I’ll drop you off at school first, then have the driver take me home.”

“That works!” Xiao Han nodded.

The sadness in Li Xiaoya’s eyes deepened, hiding a layer of sorrow deep within her heart.

Back at school.

In the dormitory, everyone was busy. Liu Bin had stopped playing on his computer, and Zhang Dagou was also busy reviewing his lessons. Zhang Feng had stopped reading online novels and was instead frantically studying his textbooks.
