Xiao Han's lips curled into a strange smile.

Soon, they arrived at the village.

As he spoke, the middle-aged man distributed cigarettes to them.

"What?!" Liu Bin and Zhang Dagou were stunned.

"So what do we do now?" Xiao Han asked quickly.

"They're demanding compensation; those involved must pay twenty thousand yuan each and are detained for fifteen days," the person from Zhang Family Village shook his head helplessly, then said, "If the money is not paid, they're probably facing six months in custody. Some have paid the twenty thousand and greased some palms, and they're already out!"

"As for that kid Zhang Feng, he seems to be out of money!" a man around Zhang Feng's age spoke up. "His family's finances are tight, his mother's sick, his father does menial labor and has no money, and Zhang Feng himself is still a student..."
