Chapter 177 Leaving(2)
However, even after a few seconds passed, the attack that Hayden was expecting never came, and he was surprisingly still alive.
Not only that but he could feel that the sharp pain in his abdomen had disappeared, as if it was an illusion.
Filled with surprise, Hayden opened his eyes and looked around, only to discover that Chu Wuyao's figure was missing, and the large wound on his abdomen had healed at some unknown time.
If it were not for the fact that his Divine Power had dissipated and he had lost his power, Hayden would have thought that the previous scene was a mere figment of his imagination.
But when he lowered his head and looked at the two corpses that lay on the ground, he understood that it had indeed taken place.
Thinking of this, Hayden didn't know how to feel.
He had survived, but at what cost?

On the other side, Chu Wuyao didn't care about Hayden's thoughts.
The reason she let him live was partly because of their "relationship", and partly because she felt that she owed him a little.
After all, without Hayden, it would have been many times harder to infiltrate the Holy Church and use its resources to reach the top of the world.
If it was before, Chu Wuyao would have never let him go, but now that she had a clone with Supernatural Realm strength, Hayden would never be able to pose a threat to her.
Most importantly, she made sure to leave a few backups in his body before leaving, that would allow her to take his life with just a thought.
Having gotten rid of the last few people who could possibly pose a threat to her in the future, the God Clone didn't stay in this place any longer but chose to return.
Her right hand turned into a fist, and then, her Divine Power surged and she punched at the air in front of her.
"Bang!"
A space crack appeared that was large enough for an ordinary adult to pass through, and without any hesitation, Chu Wuyao stepped inside.
A second after she did, the crack began regenerating, and soon after, it had healed completely.

In the secret space of the inheritance, the real Chu Wuyao sat cross-legged, holding a bloody flag in one of her hands.
Her other hand continuously took precious ores out of her space ring and threw them towards the flag. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire
Above the Blood Flag, the floating transparent figure of Li Ruoshi saw the ores that were thrown to her and she opened her mouth to swallow them.
As she gulped them down, the power of the Blood Flag slowly improved and its aura became more and more terrifying.
Finally, after Chu Wuyao had force-fed all the ores she had collected over the past months to Li Ruoshi, a clicking sound came from the Blood Flag in her hand and its aura broke through a certain barrier.
Various complicated runes flashed on the black flagpole and the red flag, which constantly twisted eerily while dripping with deep red blood.
On top of the Blood Flag, the figure of Li Ruoshi became a little less illusory and a little more real, and by now, she had almost taken a tangible form.
"I finally advanced to a High-Grade Divine Weapon...", Li Ruoshi clenched her fists and feeling the strength of the Blood Flag, her eyes flashed with excitement.
She could feel that she was many times more powerful than before, and with some luck, she would be able to become a Dao Weapon and possess Supernatural Realm strength.
At that point, being a Magic Weapon would no longer be a disadvantage and she would be almost the same as an ordinary human.@@novelbin@@
Thinking of this, even Li Ruoshi couldn't help but feel a little surprised.
Who would have thought that a Low-Grade Spiritual Weapon would be able to advance and become a High-Grade Divine Weapon in such a short time?
If someone told her that this would happen a few months ago, she would have called them crazy!
Chu Wuyao immediately noticed Li Ruoshi's excitement and she shook her head.
In fact, one could argue that the advancement of Li Ruoshi was not worth it at all.
After all, for her to advance, all the precious ores and materials of the Inheritance World had been swallowed by her, and by now, there was nothing left behind.
In just a few months, Li Ruoshi had exhausted the materials of this world and had basically destroyed the ecological cycle of this world, ruining the future of countless practitioners.
Of course, Chu Wuyao didn't care about the environmental sustainability of this world.
In her mind, this world was way less important than the strength that Li Ruoshi's advancement would bring to her.
Just as Chu Wuyao was deep in thought and Li Ruoshi was testing her new strength, the space in front of Chu Wuyao broke and a door-like space crack appeared, before a figure stepped out of it.
As her God Clone returned, it didn't say anything and immediately turned into a golden light that flew towards Chu Wuyao and was subsequently absorbed.
Seeing this, under Li Ruoshi's unwilling eyes, Chu Wuyao placed her in a corner inside her space ring.
Then, she closed her eyes and started waiting.
Time quickly went by, and it was only a few hours later that Chu Wuyao opened her eyes again.
"It's time!", she whispered, and turned her head, observing the secret space and engraving it in her memory.
The moment she finished her words, a strange force that seemed to come from the world itself descended on her body.
Chu Wuyao felt that she could resist this force if she were to use her God Clone, but she didn't, knowing that the time had come for her and the other cultivators to leave this world.
Indeed, the next moment, her vision went dark and she felt her body being squeezed.
What do you think?
