When Chu Wuyao stepped inside the white gate, she remained quite alert and she was ready to defend against any possible attack.

Her thoughts were always inside her space ring and she was ready to take the Blood Flag out in case it was needed.

However, when Chu Wuyao opened her eyes again, she noticed that the expected attack never came.

Instead, she found herself in a large plain that was covered in short green grass.

Apart from the grass, there was no other plant or animal, making this place look a little strange.

Chu Wuyao's eyes however didn't care about this plain, but landed on a massive object on the horizon.

It was a huge, stone staircase that seemingly led towards the blue sky.

She had the illusion that if one were to climb this staircase, they would reach the top of the world.

Even though this staircase wasn't a magic weapon, it still exuded supreme majesty, far surpassing any magic weapon that Chu Wuyao had ever seen.

There was some white mist on the staircase, with just a little of it on the first steps, but the higher the steps, the more mist would appear.

At the top of the staircase, the white mist was extremely dense, completely engulfing the staircase and making it impossible to see where it was leading to.

Lowering her head and calming down her shock, Chu Wuyao found that an ordinary young man with black hair was currently standing in front of the staircase, looking at it with stunned eyes.

With a move of her feet, Chu Wuyao's figure flashed and the next second, she had appeared right next to him.

Not much time had passed before Yuan Zhuo also appeared in the green plain and saw the massive staircase.

Time passed by slowly and silence spread throughout this strange space, with only the sound of breathing remaining.

Chu Wuyao couldn't know how much time had passed, but the young man on the first step suddenly regained his consciousness.

His black eyes lit up once more and his body started to tremble, clearly from fear.

A little blood flowed out of the corner of his mouth, as if he had been injured internally.

The young man's expression was filled with panic and terror, but Chu Wuyao could sense that it also contained a hint of expectation.

"Senior sister, senior brother. Just now, I was transported to another place and was forced to fight against a strange man.", the young man explained everything that happened in detail and was about to step down.

But when he faced Chu Wuyao's cold eyes that were obviously filled with murderous intention, his expression froze.

Gritting his teeth, he could only brace himself and step forward tremblingly.

The moment his feet landed on the second step, just like it happened before, the man's eyes lost their luster and he seemed to have turned into a statue once again.

The young man's mouth opened and he coughed out a mouthful of blood, while his body seemed to be hit by something and flew down the staircase.

In Chu Wuyao's eyes, it was as if a giant, invisible hand had swatted him away, like an annoying mosquito.

The man flew at an incredible speed and soon reached the bottom of the staircase, landing right in front of Chu Wuyao and Yuan Zhuo.

Looking at the man in front of her, Chu Wuyao knelt next to him and calmly placed her hand on his shoulder, wanting to check his injuries.

But then, she was a little surprised.

The man's limbs were broken, his organs were shattered and every part of his body was bleeding profusely, as if it was screaming for help.

After she patted him on the shoulder encouragingly, Chu Wuyao got up, turned her head to look at Yuan Zhuo and nodded her head with a slight smile.
