Chapter 1303: All kinds of staring



Since we were done here, I planned to head back to the castle to find a place to test my powers. At the same time, I wanted to see what had happened with the rest of the fairies.

I left them with the prime minister and the chancellor, but I was still responsible for them since I had accepted the Fairy Tear.

But the moment that I came out of the factory, I was caught off guard by the reaction of the people around.

But the way that they were looking at me was as if they were seeing me for the first time. There were even a few people that were looking at me like they didn't recognize me at all.

I was confused by their reaction, but I didn't waste time as I went over to my carriage. I had no idea why they were all acting this way, but I had no time to figure out what was happening.

It was my mistake for thinking that I would be safe in this carriage.

This carriage still had windows, so people were still able to see me sitting in it.

The people that had been staring in a daze followed the carriage that was moving slowly because we were in the city. With these people following the carriage, that meant that other people were also attracted to the same thing.

There were other people that also started looking in the same direction and had the same shocked look on their faces.

It didn't take long for a crowd to gather.

Once the crowd gathered, they started following the carriage and it soon became an entire parade. They filled the streets and gathered more and more people to follow along.

And the moment that I turned to look at the people following my carriage, I was shocked to find that there were many of them that started waving at me. There were some that started cheering. There were even some that seemed to faint because I was looking at them.

I was feeling more and more confused about why they were doing all of this...

But before I could think this through, the carriage suddenly stopped.

I peeked my head out to see what it was and I found that there was a group of large men that were standing there in front of my carriage. With the way that they were standing there, it seemed like they wanted something from me.

The carriage driver asked, "What are you doing? Get out of the road."

But these men didn't seem to care at all about what the carriage driver was saying.

Instead, they suddenly came forward and spread out around the carriage. They spread out in a way that they completely surrounded the carriage and didn't seem like they were planning on letting it move another inch.

The driver immediately knitted his brows and prepared to charge through, but the men suddenly pulled out weapons that they pointed at the driver.

Seeing this, the driver had no choice but to raise his hands.

Though he was driving this carriage, he was just a normal servant that was employed by the castle, so it wasn't as if he was someone that was a skilled guard.

At the same time, no one thought that I would need a guard when we were in this kingdom.

But it seemed like this wasn't the case now.

"Grab him for me. I want him for myself."

A sharp voice came from behind the men.

When I looked over, I found that there was this fat lady that was dressed in bright and fancy clothing standing there. She even had a pink feathered fan that she used to cover her face as if she was a coquettish person.

She was the perfect example of a rich lady that didn't know her place...

And it seemed that this was what was happening.

It seemed that she was getting her people to kidnap me for her own interests. It wasn't that they were kidnapping me because I was the king, it was because she wanted to do things to

me.

I certainly didn't want to do anything with her, so I was thinking about how to handle them. But I didn't get a chance to do anything.

That was because there were vines that suddenly came out of the ground and grabbed those men that surrounded the carriage. No matter how they struggled against these vines, they just couldn't break free at all.

These were vines that were created with magic, so of course they weren't easy to break.

The one that created these vines was Titania, the Fairy Queen.

After these men were caught by these vines, there were dark cloaked people that also appeared that suddenly subdued them before taking them away. Even the fat lady in the fancy dress was taken away by these cloaked figures.

These were the shadows of the kingdom that protected the king.

I had been waiting for them since I knew that they would be coming soon.

I knew that they would be coming to take care of this since they were always there guarding

me.

I was just surprised that Titania would help like this.

At the same time, I was surprised that anyone would act like this in our kingdom.
