Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Chapter 1373 1373: Destruction (1)

The gods could naturally see the way that I was looking at them, but none of them said anything while they were looking at me.

There was an awkward silence that filled the air as none of us said anything.

However, that didn't mean that time had stopped.

The light that made up the figures of the gods were disappearing still.

It didn't seem like it would last much longer with the way that the light was fading. It seemed like it was a matter of time before they disappeared without a trace.

So in the end, it was Solista that broke the silence by saying, "I know what he said, but there are things that we can't tell you."

I slightly knitted my brows upon hearing this, but it was a good thing that Solista wasn't finished with what she was going to say.

She continued by saying, "However, we at least owe you an explanation. That is why we'll tell you what you deserve to know, but now is not the place for that. We'll be disappearing soon since we can't maintain descending into the human world for long, or at least not right now. Go to the same place as before and we'll bring you up to talk."

I didn't say anything in response as I just looked at them, but it seemed like there was no time for anything else since they were disappearing.

So for me to talk to them, I had to go to the Holy Empire's main church?

It really wasn't a place that was easy to go to since it was so far away and at the same time…

But it turned out that I was overthinking things.

Chris, Leon, and the rest of the holy knights and priests had seen everything.

So when I landed on the airship to tell them to bring me to the Holy Empire…

"Greetings to the holy son!"

All of them suddenly bowed down to me.

I didn't know what to say when I saw this as my lips twitched a few times.

"There's no need for this."

That was what I said to them, but it didn't seem like they were willing to accept this as they all remained there with their heads bowed.

In the end, the only thing that I could say was, "I need to go to the Holy Empire, can you help me arrange that?"

The moment that they heard this, they immediately sprang into action.

Chris and Leon brought me over to the communication room on the ship and linked to the Holy Empire in no time.

After explaining what happened, they were told to bring me to the Holy Empire as soon as possible.

Just like that, we were headed off to the Holy Empire.

Of course, I wanted to get there as soon as possible, but that wasn't possible with the speed of the airship. The wyverns had become faster than the airship because of all the strengthening that we've done to them, but I needed Chris and Leon to bring me into the Holy Empire.

It was just a good thing that they seemed to be filled with adrenaline that they rushed through the night as well.

In the end, it took us three days of traveling to arrive at the Holy Empire.

When we arrived, it really seemed like Chris and Leon were about to collapse.

I wasn't actually feeling tired since my body had been reformed and was much stronger than before. Though I could also tell that I was getting close to my limit as well, so it wasn't as if I would have been able to remain awake forever.

Once we arrived, the popes immediately came to meet us.

I was caught off guard by how all of them were here. There wasn't a single one that seemed to be missing.

The moment that they saw us, all of them immediately started greeting me in enthusiastic voices. I couldn't help being taken aback when I saw them like this since they were acting completely different from before.

In the past, there were mixed opinions about me.

But now, it seemed that all of them welcomed me without holding anything back.

I just couldn't help looking at them with a strange look seeing this.

It was the pope of the Solista Religion that explained things to me.

"They all received oracles from their gods to welcome you. Of course, our Lord Solista also gave the oracle to welcome you."

All the gods?

This certainly wasn't something that I had been expecting.

Even if I could predict Solista giving an oracle to her religion, I didn't think that every other god would give the same oracle. After all, I had never come in contact with any of the gods other than the five that I had already met.

It didn't make sense that they would be speaking up for me all of a sudden like this.

Well…perhaps it was just Solista's influence that made them do this.

After all, Terra, Aquaron, and the Origin Giant had all been influenced by her.

Though I couldn't understand why she would do something like this just for me.

Even if I was a part of the prophecy, it didn't seem like this was something that a god would go out of their way to do.

But I stopped all of them from fawning over me.

There was only one thing that I was here for this time, so I wanted to go into the main church as soon as possible.

Though it seemed like they were a bit unwilling since they still had their own things to say to me, they let me enter the church in the end.

The moment that I did, what I didn't notice was that there was a light that appeared around the door that prevented anyone from entering.

The popes were all shocked to see this, but it didn't take long for them to start bowing and praying. That was because they could sense the divine energy coming from the light that covered the door.

They could tell that the gods themselves had descended.

As for me, I was pulled into a meeting with the gods.

"I'm sure that you have many questions, I'll try to answer as many of them as I can."

That was the first thing that Solista said after pulling me into this place.
