Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

A cold and sharp light flashed in Corey's eyes as he gazed at a particular group to their left. The group was not large, their numbers were barely up to thirty, and all of them wore fiery red robes.

They had rune tattoos on their face, and all of them were bald with some having rune tattoos on their heads.

Standing in front of this group was a man with a striking appearance. He had jet-black hair that fell in messy waves around his sharp features, and his eyes were mismatched just like Corey's and Divine's. His right eye glowed with a deep red light, while his left was rich brown. His skin was slightly tanned, and his aura was as fierce as flames and also as heavy as the earth.

This man was Lucian Volcaris of the House of Hellfire.

Standing beside this man was a woman with blood red hair and blood red eyes. This woman had a beauty that was deadly and seductive at the same time, however, she was chained and bruised.

This woman was Rosa.

Divine and Melissa noticed that Corey had been staring in a particular direction much longer than usual, and then they turned. When they saw Rosa and her condition, a cold light also flashed in their eyes.

"Lucian." Divine muttered coldly, and almost like he heard his name being called, the Chosen of the House of Hellfire turned and looked at Divine.

A smile appeared on his face, and then his lips moved. Although the distance between them was more than two hundred meters, they could read his lips, and they knew what he said.

"I knew you'd come, Divine."

Divine, Corey, and Melissa frowned, but knowing that nothing could be done at the moment, they decided to observe Rosa.

Corey's eyes turned pure white for a few seconds, and then it reverted back to the normal violet-blue colour.

'Light injuries, but she's fine.'

Despite having this thought, Corey had a frown on his face. Divine noticed it, and then he whispered.

"Fatty and Rosa have been captured. I never expected something like this to happen."

Corey nodded, and his gaze shifted back towards Fatty Black Bonez, "Same here."

Divine remained silent for a second, and then a solemn expression appeared on his face.

"I've not seen Dave and your master."

Corey subtly gestured towards one of the groups. This group had exactly fourty people, however, there was no Chosen in front of the group.

"They're disguised over there."@@novelbin@@

Corey communicated directly into Divine's mind, and Divine's eyes widened. He almost spoke out loud in disbelief and surprise, but knowing that doing so would be a mistake, he also communicate telepathically.

"How did you learn to speak directly into my mind? Did you get a skill crystal, scroll, or book in this place?"

Corey knew why Divine was surprised he could speak directly into his mind, and that's because, only Mystic Beings and above could naturally speak into the minds of people.

The more common method of speaking into the minds of people was to learn the skill from a skill crystal, skill scroll, or skill book. However, none of these could be found in the Shattered Dimension.

At least, neither Corey nor Divine nor Melissa had seen one.

"Runes."

Corey replied with one word, and Divine was surprised and slightly confused. Unlike Corey and Pamela who were runemasters, Divine was not, and he had no interest in runes.

Although Divine was surprised by the fact that Corey's proficiency with runes was high enough to allow him speak directly into his mind, he didn't think too much of it. Everybody had their secrets, including him.

He recalled Corey's words of Dave and Old Man Poison being in disguise in one of the groups, and then he looked at the group. His right eye which was red glowed with a red light, and Divine was able to sense the heat signatures of Dave and Old Man Poison.

Seeing the present elite Chosens who were the leaders of each group allowed Divine to know whose group Dave and Old Man Poison had joined.

"That's most likely Eryndor Castiel's group."

Corey knew who Eryndor Castiel was. He was the third prince of the Supreme God Empire, and he had also come to the same conclusion as Divine.

"That damn blind alcoholic. What the hell is he thinking joining Eryndor Castiel's group?'

Divine cursed telepathically, but Corey said nothing. He was also curious as to why Dave and his master decided to join Eryndor Castiel's group.

From what he could see, they were not under any influence and were there of their free will.

'If they were also captured or brainwashed like Rosa and Fatty Black Bonez, then that would just be strange.' Corey's lips curled up with a tinge of self mockery, and he chuckled softly, 'I shouldn't jinx it."

Just as Corey had this thought, the atmosphere shifted.

A low, guttural hum echoed from the Temple, and the glow of the crimson and black runes intensified. The groups around them stirred, and they instantly became wary and alert.

Behind and around Corey, Divine, and Melissa were the twenty seven men and women of Prince Zeran's group.

Corey looked at the Temple, and then he shifted his gaze to the Prince who had remained standing with a stoic and emotionless expression.

A slit appeared in front of the Temple, and then a space crack appeared in front of the Temple.

A pure white shoe stepped out of the space crack, and two seconds later, the full figure of the owner of the pure white shoe stood in front of the closing space crack.

The figure was a man. He was a tall, lean but muscular man with an aura that exuded divine majesty.

He had long, flowing white hair that reached his back, and his pristine white robe was adorned with golden accents. A faint halo-like light which was completely different from the natural light of the Shattered Dimension surrounded him as he stood at the center of a crowd in the hundreds. Hanging around the man's neck was a white chain with black runes on it that flashed slightly.

This man was Eryndor Castiel, and his golden eyes gazed at everybody, including the elite Chosens with unveiled superiority and indifference.
