Chapter 86 86: Leader of The Dark Star Palace
"No!" Jack tried to turn around, as if to go back to his apartment.
However, when Enzo controlled his clothes to grip his body, he was instantly unable to move.
"Enzo, who exactly is he?" asked Miya who didn't know Jack's true identity.
"He's a member of the Dark Star Palace," Enzo replied, instantly turning Miya's expression serious.
Unexpectedly, one of the residents of this apartment who was very close to her apartment turned out to be a member of that organization.
Her composure could not help but be disturbed so that the joyous feeling of being about to start the conjugal ritual with Enzo went out of her head.
"What are we going to do to him?" she asked again.
"Enzo, no, don't do anything. I just found out that Madam Miya has become your woman. I assure you, we will definitely not bother her again," Jack said hastily.
"You're only a small member of the organization, how can your word be relied upon?" Enzo replied.
Capturing Miya was the organization's clear plan from its top brass and probably its leader.
They would not stop just because of Jack's words.
Of course, doing something to Jack didn't change anything either due to his small status.
Enzo only felt uneasy from seeing him here.
And he didn't want him to leave.
"Enzo, do you need some rope?" Miya asked suddenly.
"Do you have it?" Enzo replied.
"Wait a minute!" The woman then went inside her apartment.
Not long after, she came out with a long, unusual-looking rope.
At first glance, it looked like rubber, but it had a transparent color.
Enzo suspected it was something from the Primordial World.
"This is one of the items I bought for the Aether Clothes research," Miya said.
"As far as I know, even an Awakener Expert can't cut it..." She explained about the rope.
Enzo nodded, taking it before controlling it to bind Jack's body.
He tied it so hard that even breathing seemed difficult for him.
Cough! Cough!
When it became too difficult to breathe, he started coughing non-stop.
"Enzo, there's no point in doing this to me," he said.
"As long as you set me free, I can tell you a secret from the Dark Star Palace," he added.
"What secret?" asked Enzo, narrowing his eyes.
The man looked like he was saying nonsense out of panic, but Enzo couldn't help but look at him seriously when he talked about the organization's secrets.
Even Miya looked curious.
"Are you going to tell us who your leader is?" She also asked.
The organization had many secrets, but of course the most important was the identity of their leader.
As long as this was revealed, it would be easier to deal with the organization.
Miya was smart enough to immediately shift the topic to their leader to get Jack talking about that instead of other secrets.
Only, this was obviously too sensitive a topic so Jack's expression became tense.
"If you don't say it, don't even think about leaving. We'll lock you up in this apartment until you rot to death," Enzo said.
He had never killed a human, but now he had more power. He would not hold back when threatening and would definitely do so if the party he was threatening was not threatened.
"Enzo, you probably don't want to hear about this," Jack said suddenly in a rather low voice.
"Why wouldn't I want to hear about it?" asked Enzo with a furrowed brow.
He really wanted to know who the leader of the organization was, but Jack said he didn't want to hear about it. He couldn't help but be confused.
As someone with a brain that could think, his words made him unconsciously speculate wildly even though he didn't have anything to speculate about.
Miya showed a strange expression, watching Jack as if to see if he was speaking seriously or just wanted to disturb Enzo's mind.
However, with a lot of experience interacting with people, she realized that Jack meant what he said.
"Tell me quickly," Enzo said suddenly.
He didn't care about Jack's words, he just wanted to hear who the leader of the organization was who was so ambitious to dominate society.
"Enzo, it is our leader who wants you to join the Dark Star Palace. After hearing this, you must realize that our leader is connected to you. You are actually so close to our leader that our organization can also be said to be your organization," Jack replied.
"What?"
Enzo had speculated about that, but since from the start he felt that none of the people connected to him might be connected to the lives of the Awakeners, so he didn't take his speculation seriously.
After all, even James and Owen had speculated about this.
However, Jack actually said that the leader of the organization was connected to him.
He had trouble reacting and responding after hearing that.
"You shouldn't say nonsense," he said, grabbing the collar of his shirt so hard that his body was lifted into the air.
With the evolution of his body, even though he was physically very weak, he was still much stronger than an ordinary human.
A weight of 100 or 200 Kg was actually very light for him.
Even if he wanted to, he could break Jack's neck with his hands.
"Enzo, let him speak..." Miya grabbed his hand, trying to calm him down.
"Ehmm! Ehmmm!" Jack cleared his throat many times to stabilize his breathing.
"Enzo, you can't be too harsh with me. Our relationship is much deeper than you think. I can be considered your subordinate if we look at who the leader of our organization is," he said.
"Tell me, who is your leader, I want to hear it now," Enzo replied.
He didn't want to be made to wonder endlessly out of curiosity, it was better if he found out now.
"Your elder sister. She's the founder and leader of the Dark Star Palace," Jack replied, no longer holding back because he kept forcing him to say it.
It really wasn't something that should be kept a secret from Enzo. After all, the organization wanted to recruit him which meant he would know on his own who their leader was.
Rather than get beat up by him, Jack would rather say it.
Enzo took a deep breath hearing that.
All he could think about was his sister ever since Jack told him he was connected to the organization, but how was that possible.
"My sister isn't even an Awakener, how could she be the founder and leader of the Dark Star Palace? You better not be deceitful to mess with my mind," he said.
"No, you just don't know. Your sister isn't just an Awakener, she's one of the strongest with very frightening skills," Jack replied.
"In fact she's been an Awakener for a long time. She just didn't tell you, her younger brother, and then kept her identity hidden because her identity is very sensitive. You can investigate for yourself and what I'm saying is definitely true. Everyone in the organization knows that."
Enzo, "..."
He couldn't say anything else. Although he wanted to argue, Jack really looked honest when he said that.
His head couldn't help but think seriously as he wondered how his older sister could have founded such an organization.
It was one thing if she was an Awakener, yet she actually wanted to rule the world, taking over the reins of power from the government.
Did her brain have a problem that she had such crazy ambitions?
No matter how he thought about it, he did not see in his older sister such a trait.
Ring!
Enzo was still thinking when his cell phone rang suddenly.
He subconsciously took it out of his pants pocket to see who was calling him.
To his surprise, it was actually Ruby, his older sister.
'Does she know?' Enzo wondered since she was calling him at a time like this.
Of course, he couldn't guess how she knew.
Since she was calling, he picked up.
"What's up, sis?" he asked in a casual tone like nothing had happened.
When he said that, Jack suddenly looked tense.
He called the person who called him sis. This meant it was his boss.
However, after Enzo spoke, he didn't hear his sister's voice.
There was only silence on his cell phone.
When she saw it, Miya seemed to be in a state of shock.
Obviously she was in shock because the man she had just married was the younger brother of the leader of the Dark Star Palace, the evil organization that tried to kidnap her.
She had a hard time believing this, especially knowing that the leader of the organization was a woman.
Of course, she didn't know what Enzo's older sister looked like yet, so she couldn't imagine what she looked like.
Even she only knew that Enzo had an older sister because he never talked about his family to her.
"Enzo, where are you?" After a while, Ruby's voice finally resounded, sounding very serious.
"I'm in Riverton," Enzo replied.
If he wasn't an Awakener, Riverton was practically too far away for him, but he was an Awakener and Ruby already knew that, so there was no problem saying that he was in a very far away place.
What do you think?
