Chapter 95 95: Buy an Apartment
Not only did he ask him to stop, Alex also took a sword from his friend.
It was a long sword with a curved shape, similar to a samurai.
Before Enzo could even think about whether he would stop or not, Alex was already running towards him.
"Alex, stop that!" Some of his friends wanted to stop him because they knew very well the outcome of fighting Enzo.
Unfortunately, none of them could stop Alex. They also didn't dare to get close to him, worried that he would stab them first with the sword.
On the other hand, Elli looked calm, no longer panicking like last time.
She seemed to have begun to adapt to Enzo who was an Awakener who would practically not be threatened by an ordinary human like Alex.
It was just that, Enzo this time chose to twist the throttle of his motorcycle to increase his speed. He didn't stop there.
As the speed of his motorcycle increased, Alex was practically unable to catch up with him.
The man was furious to see him pull away.
"Enzo, are you scared, come and fight with me until one of us dies," he shouted again.
Enzo ignored him, continuing to walk away.
This was because he had had enough of grabbing his woman and knocking him out once.
In the end, he was his own biological younger brother.
He also found it difficult to hit home again.
If he were anyone else, he would practically not hesitate to make him lose an arm and a leg.
"Brother, I love you!" Just coming out of the Dragon District, Elli who was hugging him from behind was already saying words of affection again.
She leaned her head on his back, letting her blonde hair float in the air.
Enzo rolled his eyes at that.
Their relationship was because he wanted to teach Alex a lesson and he was also controlled by desire.
He didn't think a girl like Elli was the kind to fall in love with, but she was really good at putting him in a good mood with her pampering or flirting.
He didn't respond, staying focused on riding his motorcycle towards the city center and then scouting out the apartments he wanted to buy.
There were always new apartment buildings.
Some looked ordinary but some were very luxurious.
Enzo had five million dollars in his account. That should be enough for him to buy a fairly luxurious apartment.
When he entered the city center, it didn't take long before he was attracted to a uniquely shaped skyscraper where it seemed to have several branches that merged together.
It had only been built a few years ago, consisting of a mall on the lower few floors, a hotel, and apartments.
Enzo had seen an advertisement saying that all the apartments in the building were very luxurious.
For under 5 million dollars, that was just the standard type. The better types cost tens of millions of dollars.
For him, the standard type was enough if it was already in the luxury category. After all, it would only be a private apartment that he would go to occasionally.
If he wanted luxury, he only needed to go to Miya's house.
His motorcycle stopped in the courtyard of the building, right in front of the mall.
He didn't know where the apartment office was located, but he thought the sales agent was in the mall.
"Brother, do you want to buy an apartment here?" asked Elli who got off the motorcycle first because she had trouble sitting without hugging his waist.
"Yes, do you know where the sales agent is?" Enzo replied.
From her expression when she spoke, Elli seemed to have come to this mall before.
"Yes, my family and I took a walk here and were offered by the sales agent to buy an apartment," Elli said.
"Did your family buy an apartment here?" Enzo asked.
Actually, he still didn't know how rich Elli's family was. He only knew that she was the daughter of a rich man, but in Vera there were too many levels for rich people, from those with assets of 10 Million Dollars to hundreds of millions.
Most of course only had over 10 Million Dollars in assets.
"Yes, my father bought one apartment but then sold it again when the price went up a few percent. He just wanted to make a profit," Elli replied.
"Ohhh, it seems your father is in the business of buying and selling properties," Enzo said.
Of course, there were still unsold apartments, but they tended to be more expensive than second-hand prices.
People usually preferred to buy second-hand apartments which were actually no different from new apartments as many of them had never been lived in.
It's just that it's a little more troublesome to buy used, easier to buy new from the developer.
"Sometimes my dad does that to make his money go further," Elli replied.
They began to enter the mall as they spoke.
By now, Enzo had an estimate of Elli's parents' wealth.
They were probably worth 10 Million dollars more, maybe 20 or 30 million.
If they were much richer, they wouldn't be interested in the small profit of buying an apartment at the beginning and then selling it when the price started to rise a little.
"Brother, it's over there!"
Elli suddenly pointed at a shop on the first floor of the mall.
It was not far from the entrance, but of course it was not a shop, it was like an open office with many sofas to welcome guests.
When Enzo stopped in front of it, a woman who seemed to have just graduated from college came up to him and Elli.
She was wearing a white shirt and a neat skirt where her brown hair was neatly put in a bun.
From her appearance, she was clearly an agent.
"Sir, do you want to buy an apartment?" the agent asked Enzo.
"Yes, I would like to buy one of your standard type apartments," Enzo replied.
He wasn't interested in small talk and wanted to make the purchase as quickly as possible.
Hearing his words, the agent looked pleased.
"Sir, please come in and sit over there," the agent replied, pointing her hand at a sofa.
Enzo walked straight to it and sat down with Elli sitting beside him.
The girl looked around curiously.
They weren't the only ones who came, but only the young ones, the rest were mostly 30 years old and above.
This made them attract people's attention.
The agent who welcomed them then came over with a magazine in her hand.
"Sir, please take a look, you can choose the design you like," she said as she sat in front of them.
Her eyes were secretly observing Enzo and Elli, but she didn't seem very curious.
As an agent, she obviously often met young people who were still in high school buying apartments here.
In a big city like Vera, the number of young people who have a lot of money is not small, whether they get money from their parents or earn it themselves by some means or luck.
They usually buy apartments to live with their lovers.
Enzo who wanted to be quick opened the magazine at random.
It seemed that all the listings inside were standard apartments, and he planned to choose a unit on the page he opened.
One page contained a collection of pictures of all the rooms in an apartment unit.
Enzo looked at all the pictures where the walls were dominated by a bright light green color with complete modern facilities.
Although it wasn't as luxurious as Miya's apartment, it was more spacious.
At the bottom of the page, the price was written.
4.7 Million Dollars.
The price was very reasonable considering its location in the city center with a view that showed the beauty of Vera City.
Enzo was instantly intrigued and decided to go for the apartment.
"I want this and I want to get the unit now, how am I going to pay for it?" he said.
Seeing him looking hurried, the agent nodded, and started preparing the paperwork.
"You can get the apartment now after making the payment, but for the certificate, you have to wait for a few days," she said.
She handed over a photo of a QR code as she did so.
Enzo did not think about the apartment's certificate. In fact, he had no problem with no certificate at all.
As an Awakener, he didn't consider government documents important anymore.
He took out his phone and paid quickly which eventually reduced his money to only about 300 thousand dollars.
After paying, he and the agent signed a sale and purchase document.
"Sir, I will take you to your apartment, please follow me," the agent said afterwards.
Enzo nodded, allowing her to lead the way and followed behind her with Elli.
The girl was endlessly holding his hand, as if to show off their romance to people.
Most people of course just considered her a young girl who was still innocent about the relationship of a man and a woman, thinking that love was that beautiful.
The older ones shook their heads, but the younger ones couldn't help but be jealous of Enzo for being accompanied by such a beautiful blonde girl.
They headed for the elevator inside the mall, but before they arrived, Elli was suddenly startled by a group of people.
What do you think?
