Chapter 191 190 - Memorable Night (Final Part)

The break ended and the Brighton players returned to the pitch with a new lease on life.

The cameras focused on Lucas, who was talking to Felix and Javier, going over details of the strategy.

On the other side, the Real Madrid players were gathered in a circle, with captain Manu Hernando talking energetically.

The teams got into position, and the referee was about to allow the start of the second half.

"We're going into the second half here at Brighton's training center! And what an incredible game we're witnessing! Right at the start of the first half, Real Madrid scored a lightning goal to level things up, but at the end of the first half Brighton took a partial lead with a spectacular goal from Lucas Tanaka, who leveled the match against the mighty Real Madrid. What can we expect from the second half, Carl?"

"Well, Paul, Real Madrid is a team used to winning, and they will not take this draw lightly. In the first half, we saw a Spanish team that started well, but then lost their way against Brighton's intensity. I now expect Óscar Rodríguez and Borja Mayoral to take more responsibility and try to find solutions to break through the opposition's defense. In addition, Hakimi could be a splendid weapon at right-back, but he still seems a little lost."

Real Madrid began by pressing. Óscar Rodríguez received the ball in the middle and immediately tried to speed up the game, setting Hakimi up on the right.

The Moroccan winger advanced at speed, passing Aidan and crossing low into the area. Mayoral got ahead of the defense, but Anton, in a quick and precise move, caught the ball before he could shoot.

"Real Madrid came back with everything! That was a classic speed move from the edge of the box, and Anton made a crucial save!"

Lucas smiled, feeling the intensity of the game grow. I don't want them to give up too soon!

In the 50th minute, Brighton found a chance. Javier stole the ball in midfield and played it quickly to Lucas, who lifted his head and laid it off to Miguel on the right wing. Miguel was quick and very good at dribbling and, as soon as he received Lucas' pass, he advanced with confidence.

He spotted Dani Fernández approaching to tackle him and, with a subtle touch, played the ball forward and left him behind. The Brighton fans cheered, but Miguel knew there was still work to do.

He looked into the area and saw Arthur positioning himself between the defenders. Without hesitating, he crossed the ball effectively to the Brighton striker.

Arthur leapt up to challenge Manu Hernando, but the Real Madrid captain deflected the ball just wide, momentarily averting the danger.

However, the ball fell to Lucas on the edge of the box, who didn't think twice and hit a firm first-time shot.@@novelbin@@

The ball went through a sea of legs, only for the Real Madrid goalkeeper to leap at the last moment and save it for a corner.

"What a dangerous finish from Lucas! Brighton show that they've come back for the second half with a will to win!" said Paul, who was thrilled with the game.

The corner was taken by Miguel, but the Spanish defense cleared it. Real Madrid tried to play it cool, but the intense pressure from the trio of forwards forced a misplaced pass from Martín Calderón, and Felix quickly intercepted it, playing it to Javier, who took another shot from a distance for Brighton, but the ball sailed over the bar.

The minutes passed, and the game became increasingly physical.

In the 60th minute, Real Madrid had another great opportunity. Fran García advanced down the left and crossed for Mayoral. The striker rose well to head home, forcing Anton into another great save.

The Brighton goalkeeper had been one highlight of the match up to that point.

Finally, in the 65th minute, Jimenez made the promised changes.

Miguel and Raphael left the field exhausted, to the applause of the fans, and Denis and Willian came on in their places.

"And we have changes at Brighton! In comes Denis, who is a skillful playmaker, and also Willian, a versatile striker who can play on the flanks or more centrally. As a result, Brighton will have to switch to a more defensive formation," said Carl.

On the Real Madrid side, Gutiérrez also made his changes. Martín Calderón and Dani Gómez left the field, making way for Moha and Augusto Galván.

The Spanish coach wanted more mobility in midfield and creativity in attack.

The game restarted with Brighton looking to impose their new formation. Lucas moved further forward in some moves to form an attacking trio with Willian and Arthur, and this soon brought results.

Almost 70 minutes in, Lucas received the ball on the edge of the box after a quick touch from Denis. With a dry cut-back, he left Manu Hernando behind and hit a powerful shot towards goal.

The goalkeeper jumped and deflected it with his fingertips, sending it out for a corner.

"Lucas Tanaka almost scored again! He's having a spectacular game, leading Brighton offensively!" exclaimed Paul on the broadcast.

The last minutes promised excitement.

Hakimi surged forward even more, looking to press down the right flank. In the 78th minute, he played a one-two with Moha and broke into the penalty area. Anton again came to Brighton's rescue with an incredible save.

The clock ticked down to 85 minutes when Brighton had one last great chance. Lucas, showing his tactical intelligence, spotted a gap between the Real Madrid defenders and played a masterful pass to Willian, who came face-to-face with Belman. The striker tried to finish, but the Spanish goalkeeper made an impressive save.

As the referee blew for extra time, both teams tried one more attack each, but to no avail. When the final whistle blew, the score remained 1-1.

"Brighton win! What an incredible match! Brighton and Real Madrid put on a top class show!" said Carl at the end of the broadcast.

"For those who thought Brighton was a team that only surprised the English giants, this team is becoming a nightmare for the big boys across Europe too! I wouldn't normally say this, but this Brighton team promises to reach the final!"

"Top of the Youth Premier League so far, Brighton are on their thirteenth game without a loss! It's a shame that all these talented players have to stay together for such a short time, I say that because in next winter's window they will all surely receive offers from big teams!"

"To the public, I hope you enjoyed the narration and commentary here on the broadcast and have a great Christmas break! See you in three weeks!"
